Conflicting reports have left many baffled, and now nuclear experts have highlighted that no one really knows the true severity of the radioactive water leaks at Fukushima […]

Mycle Schneider, independent consultant who has advised the French and German governments

  • The escalating situation is “far worse than we truly know.”
  • “There are hundreds of issues at stake here.”
  • “Whether it’s temperature, radiation exposure, or the number of people exposed – all of these statistics are flawed. We don’t know anything yet.”
  • “This is far worse than what the general public are perceiving.”

John Large, nuclear engineer and independent nuclear consultant

  • “This information is not only conflicted but also confused, and I fear, unreliable.”
  • “You have to wonder what their motives are.”

Some of us knew from the first explosion the world was getting heavily nuked. And it did.

    • We Not They Finally

We (husband and I) were up that whole first night. We knew it was an ELE as soon as it happened. He said three days before, "Something terrible is about to happen. It's the beginning of the end."

He had NEVER done that before, so I took it quite serious. Then came the disaster. And we both just KNEW. Wasn't what we wanted (hardly!), wasn't anything we wanted to accept. We just knew.

And this website has been GREAT! But now the whole world may begin to know. And God only knows how that will unfold. It still seems like a trickle now, but that could turn into a flood.

But people HAVE THE RIGHT. The right to know it all. They always have. Their lives, their dignity, their future, their right.

      God help us all.

every few hours they feed us tidbits so they can pretend they filled us in from the get go!

so for all the nobodies out there you had the access to the truth on your mobile devices but you were so caught up in your selfies you were blind. leave the selfies for the celebs and seek the truth

  • norbu norbu

They say,“We don’t know anything yet”, WOW really? "This is far worse than what the general public are perceiving.” Try telling the public than they will know. Stop lying. We here at enenews know what the severity of it is. Severe, Maybe it is worse than that? ELE… GEEZ….

    • BreadAndButter BreadAndButter

Hi norbu, did you read the article?
Mycle Schneider knows what he's talking about- but how can they give detailed news without having access to the site?

      • norbu norbu

BreadAndButter, Hi, yes I read the article. He know's yes, so why not disclose what he know's. He said, Mycle Schneider, "There are hundreds of issues at stake here," he told the Huffington Post UK. Please do tell what you know and how you know it.

  • Why so many 'baffled' experts nowadays…must be a new disease

  • SS4U SS4U

They redefined the word " baffled"

New definition: " we know but were told to pretend like we don't know"

Word games are fun and a harmless distraction.
Hard to tell which they like more, the vowed games or the distractions.

Next game ? " where in world is the corium"

    • We Not They Finally

Wow. You see, the word "baffled" might actually come up less once they can utter the word "corium." Then we can start using old stand-bys like "terrified"?

  • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Huffington Post was acquired by AOL and merged with Time-Warner. This does not bode well for unbiased uncontrolled news stories.

You can blame TEPCO or Japan, you can claim ignorance, but the corruption goes all the way around the world, and they are not so ignorant as they say. Anyway, you cant have it both ways; are you smart enough to be an engineer or scientist or are you too ignorant for it?

  • Just testing. I've been having technical problems posting today.

  • jahdesm jahdesm

i cant wait the final truth of fuku.nothing can do, all is fake what they were telling us,absolutely screaming nightmare

  • FaraFola

Hopefully they aren't lying on us because of mass hysteria for an event which cant be solved in any known way.

If NASA would know for sure that an planet killer (asteroid more than 50km diameter) will impact on earth, this information most likely would keep secret, after all there's nothing to do about it anyway

4# rogue coriums, 3# was blown fully away and all that MO shit skyrocketed in the air. Status of 4# SFP, what we do really know?. Many Experts says that it could be a worst accident on history.

All reactors in fuku were a lot of bigger than Chernobyl, and Cherno is still taking lives in Europe, accident happened 1986

Is it possible, that Fuku has already given deadly amount of plutonium + all other shit, and after a few years peoples will get sick and die on Northern hemisphere

I can't understand other reason to lie and cover up everything. Is it possible that Tepco knows something too bad to tell a whole world?

Bottom line, enjoy every moment of life you are given…

It all may disappear in hours, like waking up from a dream.

    • We Not They Finally

They would have lied just to save the Nikkei Index! Humanity's needs, concerns, rights, have never come in closer than a far second.

But OF COURSE they also know stuff too bad to tell. Or we would not have been fed lies like "cold shutdown" when the reverse was true — melt-throughs! Three of them. And in an NPP on the ocean, built on porous earth, and right on top of an aquifer!

So these reckless people did something unthinkably insane, and then they tell the truth? No way. Only conditions that are now a panic for THEM is bringing the truth to the surface.

Gosh! The absolute stupidity is so profound that they actually had no cognition that unending fraud, lack of integrity, and non-stop lies might have some horrible affect.

It's like the '08 electioneering never stopped.

    • We Not They Finally

Why single out 2008? At least that wasn't a rigged election. And tell me one GREAT person who's been in office in recent years.

  • "Super Solar Storm To Hit Earth…" Thats the real disaster, research should be done on how to shield critical stuff in our world (which might be too late or impossible for such an EMP ).

    • We Not They Finally

Did you see the interview with Neil DeGrasse Tyson (he heads the New York Planetarium) lamenting that we do have the technology to deflect an incoming asteroid, but not a penny is being allotted to it? I don't know if the same tech could be used to defend against a super solar storm. But there has to be the will to work of behalf of humanity, not just to amass money and power for a few.

      • I did not see that, but maybe a similar statement in german tv sme time ago — For the solar flare it might be totally different for protection (have no idea how). Buts bad no penny is invested in such projects.

  • I just work on a professional film documentation on radiation, effects and how to protect, maybe I should add the solar storm EMP and some demonstrations on EMP as new topic (we hope to get funds through technofunding )
    I will add this.

  • @ rdklein: Very happy to see you here. Thank you for your good works: your Radioactivity App for Android is so helpful to me, and I am glad to know about your documentary. I will post, re-blog, & etc. the technofunding link (and support you w/$ when i am able).

i sensed something in our president the other day as he was talking about syria. something was eating at him and it wasnt syria. omg the look of horror on his face. it gave me the willies.

    • We Not They Finally

Interesting. You may well be right. He knew enough to shanghai his own personal family to South America to avoid the initial incoming plume.

But this is an especially dangerous time. Sometimes when governments want to conceal terrible truths, they just divert — like why tell the public the truth when we can get their attention directed to another war?
