Excerpts from a letter from elementary school officials recently sent to student’s parents, with translation by FukushimaVoice:
There is a letter sent home on September 18, 2012, from Oguni Elementary School in Date-city, Fukushima [~50 miles from Daiichi], in order to notify parents/guardians of the radiation contamination situation at school
In regards to the radiation contamination situation surrounding the school
It has been nearly a month since the second trimester began.

I would like to report to you the latest radiation situation surrounding the school.

From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2012, members of “Association for Recovering Clean Oguni from Radiation” as well as PTA conducted a radiation level survey around the school.
The survey result confirmed the effectiveness of decontamination of the schoolyard. However, multiple hot spots were identified: from the school bus stop to the main gate; edges as well as south and east sides of the schoolyard; around the swimming pool; and behind the gymnasium.

On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, the School Educational Facilities Section investigated a hot spot located at a drain a ditch outside the school property near the sundial on the east side of the school building. (This area is covered by weeds and usually the students stay away from it).
The next day, several workers came to school to remove soil from the drain and sand from the gutter and cover the area with sand stored in the corner of the schoolyard. The ambient radiation level went from 179 μSv/h (prior to decontamination) down to 3.9 μSv/h (after decontamination).

I'm wondering how this level of contamination compares with other non-school related areas. Has anyone done a comparison? What I am wondering is, we have read a lot of articles about high radiation at schools. Is it possible that some sicko is using the disaster as cover for intentionally contaminating areas where children are? What made me wonder was the sites mentioned in this article, the bus stop, main gate, schoolyard, pool [how does it get in the pool?] and the gym, areas where most kids go.
I certainly don't want to raise suspicions if there is no such person. People have enough to worry about already, but maybe schools might consider placing cameras (with night vision capability) around them.

It so happens that they are at least trying to measure radiation levels more meticulously at schools. There are other numerous locations which have very high radiation levels. The fact is that people are living in what should be restricted areas in Fukushima.
TEPCO contaminated the areas where children are. The government on the federal, prefectural and municipal level is keeping the children where radiation contamination is severe, and this act can be nothing but intentional.

Hot spots at high traffic vectors … Students should change shoes in these locations?

The reason they are finding some hot spots at schools is that they are surveying there and looking closer on school grounds. Which they should be doing. You can find similar hot spots throughout the country. Look at drains, runoff areas, gutters and downspouts, cracks in concrete, and any low areas. These are everywhere. Use an alpha detector, which must be used very slowly and close to the surface, and they would find some scary stuff.
Normally in high contamination areas there are step off pads to change shoe coverings and limit the spread of contamination. But since half the country is contaminated and there is no control or real surveys whatsoever, these would not work very well. If I lived there I would put sticky pads at the entrance to my house (outside) to remove loose surface contamination. I would never wear my shoes inside my house, even in the entry area. And I would shower whenever I returned home for the day.
What a sad and ridiculous situation to live in.

Sadly, there is some sicko spreading this radiation around, and not just one. Thousands of them work for the governments and corporations digging the cledge out of the ground, putting it into weapons, making up absurd reactor designs, chasing around the bloggers like that Roger Helldig used to do, gatekeeping, etc. Monbiot and Coulter work in the nuke media coverup and have no empathy for the children as they say little to no harm from radiation exists. Of course they hear of data and know that if these plants melt, the children will be most affected. That has been known a long time already. You can also find the sickos in the big herd of stupid people who agree to anything that promises to enhance their cargo cult experience. They certainly fit the definition of psychos, because they totally lack compassion for their human victims. The sheep will belatedly admit that the wars they waged on innocent people with depleted uranium munitions were based on falseflags and lies, but the sheep really do not intend to spend a dime to rebuild any of the damage or to heal any of the people sickened by the burned up uranium soot spread throughout major cities like Fallujah. Spreading fears of lone gunmen is part of the mind control program of those who wish the biggest perps to remain in the shadowy penthouse, at the top of the pyramid spreading destruction. Such lone phantoms would only prove to be agent provocateurs of the sickos providing 2000x background environments.
