There has been reported increased seismic activity in the Bayou Corne/Grand Bayou area. This activity is not the sharp tremors that were occurring prior to the development of the sinkhole; however, indications show (through monitors set up by USGS) that seismic activity has been occurring NW of the sinkhole and it’s unknown at this time what this may mean. USGS is continuously monitoring this activity.

Every time I read about this sinkhole it reminds me of "Salmon", and "Sterling", the nuclear test detonations which took place in the Tatum Salt Dome in Mississippi. (1964, and 66' respectively)

I just finished watching.. I've been camping at the Carson (Gasbuggy) site. My grandfather served in the military and my mother was an oil(wo)man, later an engineer for Sun Oil. They knew about the site and I distinctly remember being told not to go wandering in those woods, but never really knew why (I was really young). Now I know why. That's nuts. Just.. nuts.

@FA; I was thinking the same thing & posted something here when I'd first heard of "naturally occurring radioactive materials" being "stored" there?!!~ Every time I see any industrial cesspools of foul crap along the edges of industrial areas,adjacent railroad right of way corridors,etc.~now I visualize drums of carcinogenic crap oozing out,maybe floating to the top & evaporating into the air?!!!~"They"-Big Nuke should be paying for psychological treatments & anti-depressants,tranquilizers-as well as the terminal illnesses racking up against them,but for which they will NEVER be held accountable-including my sickened loved ones followed by myself!!!~the world feels really "dirty" to me these days and I'm getting tired of "forcing" down food & drink & viewing the once-welcome rain as though it were concentrated sulfuric acid or something that I expect droplets on my exposed skin to start burning & blistering any time I get caught in the rain?!! If hollowed out salt domes that they are using for storage is leaking gas or contaminated concentrated drilling muds, then a void will develop and groundwater will want to enter through the leak points and start eroding/melting away the salt causing a cave-in or partial collapse. Drillers on rigs usually take a hike when they hear loud noises coming from their drill hole. Sensors picking up quakes is not a good sign.

NoPrevarication, Actually, Abc is mentioned.. they are partners in crime with GE on A and E with the Hearst Corporation.. if you look deeply at the list you will see partnerships with the other nuke owners/manufactures.. Viacom, Bain Capital, Comcast are all in partnership with nbc/GE and work together.. add sony, toshiba, Hitachi, for necessary tech in the media industry.. and pretty soon the dots connect everywhere.. CBS = Westinghouse.. and on and on it goes.. unbelievable on some levels and certainly explains how we got into this mess.. and the only way out, will be to re-regulate how many stations can be owned by any one group.. New Madrid fault acting up. Earthquakes mean seismic activity. space station needs to do x rays and pictures or sonar see what is happening underground, from the onset it was from al the plate shifts look out in California now foul sulfur smell either a volcano is starting up or a earthquake is coming. These massive earthquakes all over is messing with the American plate.

On x-ray imagery you see differences in density.
You need a beam through earth to take one(!) picture.
Thousands of kms of solid/molten rock absorbes a lot of energy but you need a detectabe "output" on the other side.
But to locate the coria you have to do something like CT, eg. you must take hundreds of single pictures .
Think about the quantities…

Laser x ray works it is pin pointed to the area that needs to be looked at and sonar works. It does not take much either to see the surface shifts no more than what people use to roll around looking under rocks and looking for pipes and things.
