SP: 91 bases in all…mostly Army and Air Force… but the US also has a huge naval presence close to Japan:

"The Seventh Fleet is the United States Navy's permanent forward projection force operating forward deployed in Yokosuka, Japan, with units positioned near Japan and South Korea. It is a component force of the United States Pacific Fleet. At present, it is the largest of the forward-deployed U.S. fleets, with 50 to 60 ships, 350 aircraft and 60,000 Navy and Marine Corps personnel."

SP: We're always a constant thorn to the Chinese and North Koreans. Maybe if we would send merchant ships instead of missile launchers we might help our trade imbalance and huge national debt. The US government is a paranoid wastrel. We msut learn to accept we are not the world's traffic cop.

And in regards to unnecessary troops situated near the radiation-emitting epicenter of Fukushima…anybody within 1,500 miles is in dire danger in my opinion.

Bleep, a leading medical researcher, Virginia Savely, DNP-C, is working with Vitaly Citovsky, Ph.D. and others to find the cause of Morgellons. So far, several people have been found to be infected with A. tumifascens, which is the organism causing crown gall in plants. A. tumifascens is used as a gene splice material for genetically modified plants. Dr. Citovsky found it can jump cross-kingdom from plants to animals. He warned in his study for the biotech industry, published in 2001, it might infect human beings. (Any more & I'll need to post to Forum because this is OT.)

Richard, with all due respect, have you read the U.S. military strategy document entitled, "Owning the Weather in 2025" ? Or have you read the information at the DARPA website where DARPA officials discuss weather modification — and the methods for doing it?

I'm from a family of commercial pilots. My dad had civil engineering and physics background as well as military flight officer (jet squadron captain) experience. From the age of about five or so I grew up with him explaining the physics of jet contrails in terms I could understand. I could identify almost every aircraft in flight over the U.S. by the time I was 10 years old.

I can assure you "chemtrails" are not normal jet contrails. Please read the U.S. government data — this is mainly their program. And please see info. from California Skywatch, founded by a former Mendocino County, California air quality official. Barium salts and aluminum oxides are commonly used. Barium has been found all over California, in the water.

The first time a friend of mine drew my attention to the so-called "chemtrails" overhead, I knew I was not seeing a normal contrail.

Many U.S. biologists are on record stating they believe the chemicals used in the cloud seeding programs are causing a devastating decline in aquatic biota.

What's the real purpose, if it's not to study global warming, as DARPA claims? More sinister? Charged particles (ions) are being added to the atmosphere.

        Report Comment

        • HoTaters HoTaters

Consider all the military applications which could be enabled by using the ionically charged atmosphere to reconnoiter objects on the ground, even render them in 3D. Would this not be useful in monitoring objects and people? And what if the ionically charged atmosphere could be used to interfere with radar, and/or create some kind of cloaking device for friendly aircraft? Are you familiar with remote sensing technology?

If we cannot trust the military with nuclear or biological weapons technology, why should we trust it when it is openly admitted weather warfare is a goal of atmospheric research?

Further consider what can be done to amplify EMF (such as a HAARP signal) when being bounced off an ionically charged atmosphere (or whatever the EMF does).

Yes, it's rather far out stuff, but the military has openly discussed some of their research efforts. The real objective doesn't always meet the eye.

Consider Nikolai Tesla was able to cause earthquakes in the small Pennsylvania town where he lived. Why would so called "chemtrails" be so difficult to believe exist?

I haven't seen a normal weather system here in California in over 10 years. Even the thunderheads which used to form at 30,000 feet altitude or higher, don't form normally. Now they appear to sit at about 10,000 feet. This is not normal. And I'm not a crazy person.

So I must respectfully disagree. Please do some research on this.

          • HoTaters HoTaters

Too bad the "chemtrails" got assigned a not-so-believable name. As it stands, the name smacks of conspiracy hypothesis and not a real thing which exists in the physical world.

BTW, a normal contrail will under most weather conditions, dissipate within 30 seconds or so after it has formed behind the plane.

The ion clouds have stolen the sunshine from my formerly sunny California. Goodbye, blue skies, goodbye. I dislike this geo-engineering or "terraforming" our planet as much as I dislike the nuclear industry. Just another tentacle on the same giant squid.

Hi WildTurnip, you're right, I don't know much about it. Basically because it's a distraction, there is enough to deal with already, and there is plenty of tangible proofs in the matters of the nuke industry and corrupt governments, why bother with such a wild, unprovable subject, similar to the A21 discussion we had the other day.

I only have so many hours in the day. So do you all I'd imagine. Why waste your energy on these things?

In the end, if we can get to the matter of what's driving the nuke industry then we will most likely get to the matter of many of the ills that surround us.

And just a quick side thought, all this 'disease' that is being placed on chemtrails may actually be disease from radiation, but hey, whose paying attention?

I see the A21s and the chemtrails as being generated by people with too much time on their hands and too much imagination.

That quote the other day, what was it ? … "If you don't stand up for something, you'll fall for anything". Choose your battle, stick to it, don't get distracted.

I'm not out to have a dig at my cohorts here, but I'd be a lot happier if we stuck to the issues that enenews was setup for.. energy, ergo, nukes. Well, that's how I read it.

One last point, nukes are a global problem. The USA seems to be the only continent 'suffering' from chemtrails. I care for the entire planet. I care less for the USA. I'm not interested in the localised issues of the USA.

              JUST STOP THE NUKES.

Hi Richard…I believe you're in Australia from previous posts? Perhaps your interest in 'chemtrails' will be ignited by knowing stratospheric geo-engineering is also taking place here (I live in Western Australia). For your convenience, and for a peep into the darkest rabbithole that I have discovered so far, put a peg on your nose and prepare a sick bag before you watch any of these clips. After you have done some research, and taken in the utterly incomprehensible atrocity that is being committed daily in many countries around the world, including Australia (apart from and on top of FukuSteamer, Deepwater Horizon, fracking etc etc) by agents unknown, for purposes unknown, join those of us who have jettisoned our trust in authority/agency/govt, and are occupying the state of gratitude and thankfulness for ANY fragment of beauty, hope, grace and community that we can find ANYWHERE, ANY or EVERY MOMENT! (including you spectacular ENENEWSERS!)

First, just search 'chemtrails' on the net. You will turn up 1000s of pages. Then search 'synthetic biology'. Then Morgellons. Check out aluminium nano tubules (designed to deliver biological material). Aluminium nano-particulate also 'activates' the atmosphere – the air we breathe – for HAARP (= weather wars and mind control). This is not a drill. These systems are well tested, and IMHO we will soon see 'an end game play'. Not sure what it is yet..anything from depopulation (search Georgia Guidestones)… (continued with…

Does anyone know if the Japanese population is vaccinated against Rubella? Here in the USA kids get the MMR (Measels, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine. Just wondering if people getting this are not vaccinated or if they are vaccinated is this a vaccine resistant Rubella.

    Report Comment

    • Sickputer

Japan banned the MMR nearly 20 years ago after some spikes in statistics for adverse reactions.

Rubella shots in monovalent form are given along with a second shot (booster) AFAIK. Compliance with many vaccine shots is spotty in Japan due to parent fears about side effects and autism links.

Lots of discussion about whether Japan's lower usage of children's vaccines affects mortality rates and debilitating injuries from diseases (like deafness from mumps). Pro and cons debated by both camps of thoughts about vaccines. Japan's fairly lofty position for low child mortalty rates has been a plus for the anti-vaccine positions. Radiation may bring in a new wrinkle.

        hi enough and sick

while i was browsing on the subject i noticed that in kazahkstan TB is prevalent.. the WHO blames the lack of health info.. but i also noticed that kazahkstan had a +90 percent literacy rate and has a good health care system.. i believe vaccinations have been done..

at no pint could i find on certain documents the reason for the TB cases.. the WHO are supporting an "education" campaign but no research on ionising radiation and the semey… i thought that an interesting point or two to add…

it might be worth me noting that bronchitis like disease and asthma are prevalent too.. but the WHO seems to look at each disease separately.. this is pretty dumb when you consider the semipalantisk area.. and the WHO doesnt take data from russian medical sources on the ground nor use the data from the reports that have been done.. not very joined up thinking..???

Personally, however, Skripka considers all 2.6 million people in "Kiev to be victims because radiation levels were and still are higher than officially recognized. Secret KGB data indicated radioactive elements in virtually all residents. Shortly after the accident, one-year-old children had an average of .5 rem of iodine in their thyroids. Pregnant women were found to have radioactive particles in their blood. Nursing mothers had it in their milk. Blood donor data in 1990 showed that 80 percent of the population had abnormal blood, especially in immunological proteins. Because of this, 30 percent of children in Kiev could not receive a vaccine without contracting the very disease the vaccine was meant to prevent."The following is an exerpt from Chernobyl: The Ongoing Story of the World's Deadliest Nuclear Disaster, by Glenn Alan Cheney (Macmillan, New York, 1993) 128 pp. ISBN 0-02-718305-X. A Cultural History of Tuberculosis in Modern Japan

    FUKUDA Mahito

    this is very interesting.

"..Romanticization of tuberculosis, or endowing it with aesthetic images continued for decades. Even MORI Ogai, despite his rather uncomfortable experience as a tubercular, he could not but stand with the romanticization of the disease by translating Arthur Schnitzler's Der Sterben (The death, 1894, tr. as Miren in 1912), depicting the tragic dolce vita of a tubercular patient, the novel would greatly influenced HORI Tatsuo who might be called the centre figure in the "sanatorium literature" in Japan.

Yet another figure important in confirming this aesthetic image of tubercular women was TAKEHISA Yumeji, the poet, writer, painter and woodblock artist who exerted great influence throughout the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras…"

"..More than any other disease known to man, tuberculosis (kekkaku) has been endowed with a romanticized, aesthetic image, despite the horrible agonies suffered by those afflicted. Tuberculosis is known to have been one of the oldest diseases of mankind. However, it is not known how prevalent it was before the advent of vital statistics in England in the middle of the seventeenth century. The same was true of Japan before official statistics began in 1900…"
