    ITs amazing that it requires the last of the investigative journalists left on earth to report obivous facts known and understood by five year olds.

    • Protestors in the UK mark Fukushima anniversary by blockade of EDF nuclear site
      12 March 2012

      The one year anniversary of the devastating earthquake and tsunami on Japan's north east coast was marked in the UK over the weekend by the first 24-hour blockade of a nuclear site in over 30 years.

      Following a demonstration by over 1,000 people at Hinkley Point C on the Severn estuary in Somerset, which veteran campaigner Martyn Lowe described as the largest anti-nuclear action in this country since protests against the Torness power station in 1979, 100 people blocked the main entrance to the site, stopping all traffic from entering or leaving for over 24 hours.

      The peaceful demonstration and blockade were organised by …

    At 6:13 in alex interrupts the fact that EQs did the damage. Literally interrupts Palast and steers the conversation away from the facts about the EQ damage Greg was outlining.

    And then after break Jones go on to say " Look botton line here, I am not against technology and there are cleaner forms of Nuclear power" and the steers the blame to governments. A constant refrain of his.

      Sorry its at 5:13 in where Alex does what he is great at and interrupts Palast and changes subjects. A classic tactic that I described above.

      Four things why nuclear power plants as we know will not change:

      1. NASA uses plutonium for space travel which is -of course created in a nuclear reactor.
      2. Military use of plutonium etc. to create atomic weapons -of course created in a nuclear reactor.
      3. Medical use of iodine -yes to tread cancer -also created in a nuclear reactor.
      4. Many other things that uses nuclei power

      I'm not an Alex Jones fan. I KNOW that he has been repeatedly advised of the FOIA NRC documents and he ignores the subject. Now why would he do that? It's the story of the century and almost nobody will address it. Kudos to enenews, enformable, and the intel hub for having the guts to publish the truth.

        @NoPrevarication: it's now accepted within the patriot movement, AJ is part of the controlled opposition. Long ago, I picked-up on who (and what) he was, by what he wasn't saying to his audience. His masters should get it over with and let FOX pick him up. He no longer has to worry about his credibility being lost…

It makes you wonder…if ALL the time spent like this was put into constructive TIME, WE COULD SAVE THE WORLD!! As it stands, Admin remove if need be. (i hate when I get lost in a maze :(

          I AM IN AFTER-SHOCK!!! Earlier today I researched info that Blades posted on who owns GCN, plus a damning article by mancow, plus citizen comments agreeing AJ is owned. I've had my quarrels with his style over the years, but never doubted his integrity until today. This truly sucks.

          Two questions: 1) what I saw in my rather wide search today did not amount to "it's now generally accepted in the patriot movement…" Could you or anyone please give me a couple of examples of this wide acceptance so I can come to a firmer conclusion for myself? Since I awakened in 2006 I have had nonstop grief. I have lost so many former heros. Now I am even in doubt over the whole Ron Paul and Rand Paul VP thing–their explanations/responses seem so lame. 2) why would mancow come on AJ's show a number of times believing what he does?

          Circles within circles within circles. Thank god for the expertise I have found here among enenews posters.

          SO many thanks!!

    On balance I will say that later in the broadcast, when Palast again brings up the faulty EQ proofing, Alex does say " ban em, lets ban em if they build em like rickety old high schools"

    Why is there cancer? Because of environmental pollution!

    Determining what causes cancer is complex. Many things are known to increase the risk of cancer, including tobacco use, certain infections, radiation, lack of physical activity, poor diet and obesity, and environmental pollutants. WIKI

    If you search the internet how old cancer is then you will be mislead telling you cancer is very old but in fact that was tumor which is different from cancer. Getting cancer is probably an taken risk by 'our leaders' in effort to keep continuing making money, power, war etc. with nuclear power and all other toxic shit that is in products all around us.

    @openeye, I really understand how you are feeling. I have been in a depression ever since the Fuk. quake. I know how frightening and depressing all of this is.

    I'm so appreciative of the people here, who are open-minded and really searching for the truth. I'm glad that you and others find some of my posts to be helpful. I have found so many good things here too. I love the information exhange. That is why I spend so much time here on enenews.com

    It does often seem that we are fighting a losing battle, but we (the 'resistance' ) have gained a lot of ground in the past few years – our info is snow-balling, to an extent. Like Yogi Berra said, 'It ain't over 'til it's over.' And 'there's many a slip twixt cup and lip.' We have an opportunity to try and make a difference.

    I have quoted that fortune cookie fortune I got years ago – quoted it here before – 'In some causes, it is noble even to fail.' As I was already 'in the struggle,' it was funny, and a bit eerie, to get that in a fortune cookie.

    There is good info on rense and jones, because if there were not, they would lose their readers. We just need to try to be always skeptical and keep our critical, analytical minds on the alert. And be willing to admit when we are mistaken, which all of us have been and will be because this really is a very subtle and clever 'battle for the minds of men'. The bad guys have so much money and so many brilliant minds they have 'bought' – we just have ourselves – and the knowledge that ours is a just cause.

    There is no doubt in my mind that the group here at enenews is 'the cream of the crop' in many ways.

    We are doing this, making this effort, for the coming generations – when you think about it. The young and yet unborn depend on us, and people like us, to 'oppose the wrong-doers' and try to help others to see how important this struggle is.

    Anyway, as an information buff (some would say, addict), I do love enenews, the info here…

    About Ron Paul and Rand Paul… I just don't know. Being into economics, and in favor of free market economics and money-of-substance, I have always been a big RP fan. Pretty much whenever he talks, I agree with what he is saying. He really does seem to have integrity and principles, and to understand economics and the principles of government upon which this country was founded.

    Part of me, the cynical part, says if he were really a threat to the NWO cabal, they'd have arranged an accident for him long ago. (They have so many ways to kill people these days and make it look natural or like an accident.)

    But I really don't know enough to be certain on that issue.

    I did find a troubling RP quotation in which he spoke favorably of nuclear power(!) I will try to find it again. Actually I think it was someone here in enenews who said that he does not oppose nuclear power, and I found it hard to believe and searched around and found that. I will look and try to find it again and if I do find it, will post it.

    Ron Paul pro-nuclear remarks!

    Here it is – found it quickly by searching thru my email posts.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://www.ronpaul.com/2011-03-17/ron-paul-dangers-of-nuclear-energy-overblown/
    I didn't find anything newer than this interview, in which RP comes across strongly pro-nuclear power! (and needless to say, he comes across as uninformed/misinformed re its dangers).
    If anyone finds anything else, newer, re RP's stance on nuclear power, PLEASE email it to me .
