Associated Press, March 26, 2013: Powerful Oklahoma quake was caused by oil-drilling procedure, scientists say [...] felt for hundreds of miles in 14 states, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was the largest quake in the central part of the country in decades and largest in Oklahoma records [...] there was a slightly smaller quake in an old oil well used to get rid of wastewater, right along a fault line. That smaller quake triggered the bigger one [...]

Bloomberg, March 26, 2013: A 2011 Oklahoma earthquake has been tied by researchers to the disposal of wastewater from oil production [...] A series of quakes in November 2011 followed an 11-fold bump in seismic activity across the central U.S. [...] The wastewater that triggered the earthquakes came from conventional wells [...] The 5.7-magnitude earthquake near Prague, Oklahoma, on Nov. 6, 2011, was the state’s biggest [...] The state’s geological survey disagreed with the finding, and said it was likely “the result of natural causes.” [...]

Dutchsinse called it what it was when it happened before most people had ever even heard of fracking.

If I were you, I'd probably believe the same thing…
It would be very ignorant to dismiss the probability of drilling/fracking at least having a moderate degree of effect with this event. The epicenter is situated directly at a man-made deep-earth drilling operation. You would be a fool to err on the side of nature here. "Critical thinking" would conclude the same.

Do you have a link for "The epicenter is situated directly at a man-made deep-earth drilling operation." would like to read up on it especially the deep-earth drlg ops.

The first recorded quake induced by an injection well was at the Rocky Mountain Army Arsenal in Colorado a 1968 The Army had drld a disposal well for chemical warfare weapons. They noted when injecting there were quakes- stop pumps no quakes

        Totally agree.

OH! I didn't know seismically active locations were actually prime real estate for drilling and fracking. My bad…

But the very finest fracking locations are under nuclear reactors. There have been six cases in the US.

The end game continues to tip toe up to the citizens of the world.
The one thing i most detest about Evil. Is mimics the Christ who says basically one cant tell the moment of the end as it comes like a thief in the night…Well the unfolding of Evil also comes like a thief in the night…Most of us are asleep and will only wake in the middle of a terible nightmare…
I guess thats why we have all been dumbed down over the last 60 years…

AP quote: "Not everyone agrees, though, with the scientists' conclusion: Oklahoma's state seismologists say the quake was natural."

SP: You have to recognize the sheer bravado of frackocrats and nucleocrats everywhere. They infiltrate government agencies, subtravert the truth, and legislate to steamroll opposition. They own politicians and judges across the land with a fist full of campaign donations.

They won the early battles and seem poised to rule forever doing as they please. But they will not escape the verdict of history as long as even one dissident dares to reveal their gutless inhumanity to mankind and the environment.

    • You'd think these guys would get involved:

The International Criminal Court (commonly referred to as the ICC or ICCt) is a permanent tribunal to prosecute individuals for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression (although it cannot, until at least 2017, exercise jurisdiction over the crime of aggression).

Terribly true, SP. Interestingly the head of one of the largest fracking corps is Aubrey McLendon who is from OK. He's married to the first cousin of the Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Fred Upton. The head of Fred's family business (Whirlpool), Jeff Fettig, sits in the Board of Dow.
