Title: Over 1 Million Bq/kg of Radioactive Cesium from the Mysterious Black Dust in Minami Soma City
Source: EX-SKF
Date: Feb 16, 2012
Minami Soma City assemblyman Koichi Ooyama discloses the result of the test of the mysterious black dust found in locations in Minami Soma City [...]
SOURCE: ameblo.jp/rvf400-1014
[...] his measurement on the surface of this black dust was 295 microsieverts/hour.
Assemblyman Ooyama apparently sent the sample to Professor Tomoya Yamauchi of Kobe University. Professor Yamauchi did the test, and here’s the result, from Assemblyman Ooyama’s blog:
Cs-134: 485,252 Bq/kg
Cs-137: 604,360 Bq/kg[...]
[The person who found it] says in his blog this substance is very light-weight and blows off easily. He is finding it all over Minami Soma. He has asked the construction workers if it is from asphalt used in roads. The workers say no. [...]
[He] says he has alerted the City Hall, and Mr. Ooyama indicates there will be a meeting with the city officials on this finding.

I wonder if this is from incinerating the debris as they say it is dust or from the current fires we have witnessed in the rubble that was once a nuclear facility.
Report Comment
Yeah fires create black dust called soot.
Burning nuclear reactor rubble or radioactive debris will certainly create highly radioactive soot.
Boy the Nukers pulled some wool over our eyes, didn't they?
Now, they'll have to admit, in retrospect, that maybe they should try to put out those fires.
I hope they are saving a pile of that stuff in a lead box for future lawsuits, naming it Exhibit A.

I was wondering about the incinerator ash too. I was wondering whether it could be depositing from the air, but then getting washed to the sides of the roads by rain. Alternatively, I was also wondering whether ash could be spilling from the trucks when they transport it to wherever that are taking it to dump/dispose of it (e.g., Tokyo Bay). My understanding is that when they incinerate the contaminated material, it creates much smaller particulates that have a much easier time getting deep into one's lungs if inhaled, so I would think that would also mean the ashes would be very light and mobile. Wait until further analysis results are available. This is highly explosive news; i assume that there will be HIGH amounts of Plutonium in this dust.
The colour, the high alpha radiation, and the behaviour of the dust ("very light-weight and easily blows off") indicate a certain relation to the nanoparticle-Plutonium used in MOX elements.

I Exactly aigeezer, I don't believe one word about the men ingesting a lethal dose of plutonium and surviving 40yrs to tell about it. Just look at what the effects of depleted uranium is having on the Iraqi population and in a much shorter time frame.
Report Comment
I think (but I'm not sure) that plutonium dust is ultra-lethal when breathed in, but plutonium solid is relatively safe when eaten.
If so, that would explain how they could make their claim about "safety" while still being completely misleading.
Nuke shills often tell partial truths, such as the radiation from bananas line, and hope that the public will draw an erroneous conclusion, such as "a reactor meltdown is just like a banana".
It's always challenging to try to find where, exactly, they mess with the truth.
Speaking of messing with the truth, this tear-jerker has been getting a lot of e-mail circulation. It's apparently produced by the US military and it tells you all you need to know about 3/11 (NOT).

The actual amount of plutonium internalised by the much talked about Manhattan project survivors was estimated to have been less than 1 millionth of a gramme. This is not expected to be a lethal dose so it is no surprise that the people survived. It is a bare faced lie that they were expected to die from cancers but that lie is repeated all over the net.
1 millionth of a gramme was estimated to be about the minimum amount which could cause (not probably would hut could) if inhaled. The likely lethal inhalation dose for humans was estimated at 27 microgrammes (27 millionth of a gramme) based on studies where Beagle dogs were forced to inhale plutonium dust until they died.

Yes. Anger is a very important emotion, of which we have a full spectrum. There is no requitrement to put some emotion ahead of another, but I think it important to have a full pallette.
@Maiden Heaven — Glad you liked.
Report Comment
You need to channel your anger constructively. If you turn the anger inward it will keep you from healing. The hardest is to forgive yourself and to accept the forgiveness of others.
I've never done this but it helps to know that this is a possibility. You can write down what you are angry about and put the paper in the freezer. I read a lot of books about spies righting the wrongs of the world.
Righteous anger is called for many times. But if you can't forgive it hurts you, not the person or the situation that has hurt you.
Righteous anger moves to face and moves us to make positive changes. And always you have to love yourself in order to love others. And you have to accept the love of others in order to have love to give back.
I find forgiveness easier when I can find pity for those who don't know what goodness is. Surely evil people are the most pitiable creatures on earth. Some philosophers find that evil is a great void of nothingness rather than a powerful active force. I don't know whether this is true or not. But sometimes it helps me to see this side of the world. I think evil people know no happiness and surely their lives are hell on earth.

Report Comment
Soot from the burning certainly seems plausible. I suspect that would be better than if it's MOX dust. Nasty business, no matter what it turns out to be.
There's some buzz in the EX-SKF comments that it's worth remembering there aren't kilogram-sized lumps of the stuff around. It is dust, not lumps, so measurements per kilogram may give false impressions of the seriousness. However, if it is MOX dust, then kilogram-sized lumps might be preferable to dust.
The fact that it is showing up now, rather than much earlier suggests soot from the burning rather than MOX dust from the original explosions.
Aieee.
Report Comment
re: Incinerator dust vs. MOX dust
Are the two mutually exclusive? If the MOX dust was strewn far and wide by the #3 explosion, then MOX dust is sure to turn up in the incinerator ash, since that stuff essentially concentrates the radionuclides from the stuff being burned.
It could be incinerator dust, but the high alpha readings could be indicative of how much MOX is mixed in with the rest of the ash.

Yes, I try to get all of Yoichi's sessions with rense. His info in general is excellent. He's a very smart and well-informed guy.
I too cannot agree with all of Rense's info. I don't fully agree with his 'it's the Jews' position (I think the reality is a more complex and 'nuanced' than that) and he has at least one guest on – Tim Rifat – who I think is just abominable.
But he also has some very good guests on his radio show, and some good info posted on his site.
If I had to choose between him and the MSM, in a heatbeat it would be Rense. MSM are totally controlled by big money insiders and there is much well researched info in support of that statement. I consider the MSM to be brain-washing. It is not smart to subject yourself voluntarily to brain-washing. Instead, I access a variety of 'dissident' news and blogs, websites and print/books too.

Caution is advised regarding RENSE. Disturbing information is coming out as to his family connections to CIA, and questions about the truthfulness of his journalistic claims. He might not be what he appears to be. I notice that he does not seem to advocate taking any action about matters, but most of the links to other information are useful. I would advise caution to everybody when seeking information from these kinds of sites. Look for verification from other sources when assessing what you are being told. Just sayin' ….

Yes, aigeezer about plutonium, I too have read that it is LETHAL IN VERY SMALL AMOUNTS if inhaled [one thing I recall reading is that if you inhale a plutonium particle, you are 'married to cancer'], but eaten, it is not that bad, mostly just excreted, not picked up ( this is not necessarily ALWAY the case, results vary, I believe, but in general that is the situation).
I read about it in a book called THE PLUTONIUM FILES. When several people were used as guinea pigs (unwitting guinea pigs)by the USG in the '40s or '50s, some of them who were fed the stuff lived on a long time, decades. It is when inhaled (or injected, I believe) that it is a death sentence; & yes, the dis-info elite will cleverly exploit/twist the facts to misrepresent the situation, as did those shills on the Japanese TV 'dis-infomercials' who said, Hey,folks, no problem with the plutonium, you eat it & it just passes through your body harmlessly.
(This btw is CRIMINAL misleading of the public in my opinion, to twist the truth in 'infomercials' that influence them to remain – with their children- in danger & not act to protect themselves. If a used car dealer lies about a car being safe that he knows is not, & the buyer gets killed as a result – well this used car dealer could go to jail – right? So here we see a glaring example of the 'double standard'. But we the public are conditioned to just 'blow it off' – we say, Oh everyone knows that govt. & big business lie all the time. NOT! Enough of this double standard that protects the highly placed – they should be judged by a STRICTER STANDARD. No one forced them to seek these responsible positions of public power and influence.)
About this black mystery dust (a mystery to us, probably not to the PTB's scientists but they aint' talkin), it seems not to be soot, but fine, light little pieces, kind of 'crunchy' in texture, from the pictures I have seen. It does not look like soot from burning. (Yoichi is probably right.)
Report Comment
yep. one picogram (.001 nanograms) of Pu has about 2.5 billion atoms. so inhaling even a vanishinly small partical will still cause lifel-long problems. However eating it isn't as much of an issue.
Uranium OTOH is both at radiologic risk and a toxic risk. that is Uranium is a toxic heavy metal, not unlike mercury, etc, that happens also to be radioactive.

Thanks for sharing, bleep (is that a valid short cut?)!
I have had little luck with those in denial (and/or learned helplessness), which is why I am overjoyed to have found this site.
Emily Dickinson wrote that those who stay in a trance can pass by the Abyss safely (so they think), but those with an open eye must be prepared to be dropped bone by bone.
This Shimatsu video drops so many bones I think I'd try a milder intro with folks in denial and then lead up to this one gradually.
But right now I've done all I can with one-on-one efforts and am focusing on a more generalized approach, nowhere near completion but teaching me something new every day.
Report Comment
I think it is kind of funny to be called bleep, but bleep or blades is OK, either one.
I like that Dickinson quotation.
One of my favorites, in regard to all of this, is 'The unorthodoxy of my views redounds to the discredit of the orthodox.' Don't recall who said it.
Most of those in denial defend their territory very stubbornly I've noticed, or rather, learned the hard way. Slow learner, I am! I score high in persistence in various tests. (Also, annoying-ness …)
I persist in crediting people with reasoning ability, curiosity, a sense of social responsibility, etc.
Report Comment
This denial is an interesting phenomenon. Related bit of info I read somewhere – social workers who work with kids in abusive homes sometimes find the kids liking or having good feelings towards the abuser. This seems puzzling, counter-intuitive, etc. – but it is in part attributable to just plain DENIAL – the defense mechanism.
For a small helpless child, consciously realizing that he/she is living with a big powerful hostile/disturbed person – who could easily kill him/her – would be so psychologically devastating/painful, that they just go into big-time denial. It seems related to the Stockholm Syndrome.
I think that many of our fellow citizens are in denial and clinging to it for similar reasons. (In addition to the laziness that makes one not want to have to revise the personal 'map' of the world.) The real world, and those in control of it and who have made it what it is, really are very scary right now(and could they easily kill us – well, case in point is the reason for this website – might be they already have and 'It is all over except for the dying…').
People deny just in order not to have to deal with it, and to be able to keep on keepin' on; with the (planned, progressive) declining standard of living, people are working much harder, longer, etc. just to make it and already are stressed out. They just, as the locals, say 'cannot handle.' (Also – denial itself takes mental/emotional energy, is a drain.)
But these 'deniers' could make all the difference. It is frustrating – tragic, really.

Rense = controlled opposition?
@vivvi-more info about rense if you have it, please! I suspect him, to be honest.
The big red flag for me was when he came out so vehemently saying that the Fuk. big quake could NOT have been HAARP-caused. He has just 'harped' & editorialized with emotion on that point repeatedly. He used to have Leuren Moret on his show (her info has been consistently excellent, well researched); since she came out saying that the Fuk. quake was HAARP-triggered, she has been black-balled by him.
Repeatedly he rants about how HAARP just could NOT have been used, no way etc. (Actually, Alex Jones did the very same thing – right after the quake he came out saying, no way could it have been HAARP-triggered.)
Well, the big red flag there for me was – how could they be so CERTAIN-SURE of that, RIGHT AWAY? There is beaucoup evidence of HAARP having been used to trigger the Haiti & Indonesian quakes. Leuren Moret's scholarship on that is excellent.
Rense has all sorts of people on, including the very disagreeable (and deranged-sounding)Tim Rifat, & Rense says that he is open to lots of info & opinions on his show – but boy, he is not open on this subject or to Leuren Moret, any more.
Also I think Rense's take on 'the Jews' is wrong. The Rothschild banking family is high up there in the power elite, maybe the central kingpins, and they do happen to be Jewish. But I think this 'it's the Jews' theory is basically a canard, a species of 'red herring.'
"The Jews" collectively are obviously not our enemy or the problem. The problem is a small group of corporate/banking elites, some of whom happen to be Ashkenazi (converted) Jews originally from eastern Europe. But 'the Jews' generally are not the real problem. I think this 'it's the Jews' meme is there to confuse us, & divide-&-conquer us – the resistance.
Rense is a great proponent of this 'It's the Jews' theory.(Rense also models hopelessness.)
