Radio: US Navy sailors had radioactive snow ball fights off Fukushima — Crew “pretty well toast” after weeks on Pacific… significant cancers, incessant bleeding from anus or vagina, blindness — Debris from USS Reagan sent to Hanford nuclear waste site (AUDIO)

Voice of Russia – US Edition, Jan. 15, 2014:

7:30 in — Paul C. Garner, attorney for Navy sailors exposed to Fukushima radioactive contamination: They’re out there in the elements breathing it in, soaking it in. According to Lindsay Cooper who was on the deck, it started to snow and then she tasted this metallic taste in her mouth, and so did the others. And they were having snow ball fights and joking around about it, until they were warned that it was radioactive and they should not be doing that.

9:45 in — Garner: They were considered to be too highly radioactive […] The Reagan sailed around for weeks before they could find a friendly port to land in. By that time the people on board were pretty well toast. And the Reagan itself became contaminated. After that the Reagan spent a year and half in Bremerton, Washington for what they considered to be routine maintenance, but it was anything but routine. They decontaminated the vessel as best they could, and they shipped the contaminated debris over to Hanford.

13:00 in — Garner: They didn’t have any prior family histories of leukemias, incessant bleeding from their anus or from their vagina, they didn’t have problems with their vision like Louie Viernes who’s on the Washington now, who’s blind in one eye. […] There’s just too many people at the same place at the same time without any family background or any reason to believe that they have these issues, to now show up with these significant cancers and beyond.

Year and 1/2 decomtamination of USS Reagan at Bermerton Ship Yards Washington State, someone should find out the contract details! And the amount of materials plus the radiation levels of that material sent to Hanford WA for dumping. All should be available via FOIA.

Being that they came off a military vehicle and transported to a government location, the files are probably sealed stating national security.

And there are vids showing kids proudly holding up beach debris in Cali. After the parents signed a health waiver, of course. And the debris is being sent to Hanford? What the hell?

Also they couldnt legally move the highly radioactive waste by train since they have to travel thru high population areas to get to hanford so they even moved some of the trains at night. Good luck foia'ing that.

We hosted Yoichi Shimatsu here in the PNW last Spring and this is the story he filed…
      3 Part Series by Shimatsu:

We just drove around the outside of Hanford and the truck was "hot" on return to Seattle area.

"There is nothing to see here! Move along…" And, so it goes…

      • Pete

His Hanford article also talks about and has pictures of the uncontrolled reactor fire at Hanford. Meh, out of sight, out of mind is what I always say about reactor fires.

There are others that know about this however, I know someone else here in Wa who knew about it before I told him the Shimatsu story but I cant find anything official.

I just wish Shimatsu would back away from some of his Israel conspiracy theories, he obviously has a lot of good information and sources, and he seems like a truthful guy but any theory about Israel is intellectual quicksand, once you step into that quagmire your almost never coming out legitimate again.

        • whiteaglesoaring

So even if Shimatsu is really on to something that would direct attention to the real cause of the meltdowns at Fukushima, he should temper his revelations so he won't be delegitimized? That analysis might, itself, be revelatory. What if Israel could be shown to have had motive, means, and opportunity? Shouldn't we be good detectives or journalists and dig for evidence where the fundamental elements of a criminal investigation are the focus for our forensic activity?

We know that Israel had a motive since Japan supported the Palestinian State and had offered to enrich uranium for Iran. Only a few months later, Magna BSP sought and won the security contract at Fukushima and had access to the infrastructure. The Israeli newspapers themselves revealed this information and that the Magna technicians had just completed their work a week before the "earthquake" and tsunami. So they had motive and opportunity. Did they have the means?

Consensus among IT experts is that Stuxnet virus was developed at Dimona and tested in the Negev and used in Iran to destroy the centrifuges via the Siemens SCADA valves. At Fukushima the Siemens SCADA valves controlled the cooling water. Those valves normally are open unless a COMMAND closes them. The only way the cooling water is blocked by the valves is by sabotage. In Iran the control room didn't know there was a problem…that's what stuxnet does. At Fukushima technicians didn't know reactors were overheating.

          Motive, means, and…

    • And now the USS Reagan is planned to be sent to Japan, Yokosuka, for homeporting as of Summer, 2015. Two interviews – Masuhiko Goto, the attorney heading a coalition to stop the ship from coming to Japan, and Carol Jahnkow, a veteran anti-war/anti-nuclear activist – both
on this week's Nuclear Hotseat #173: Especially powerful: learning that with Japan having no nuclear reactors online, the Reagan would place two reactors (its power supply) in Japan, which is against the country's laws.

  • Nick

So, let me get this straight, the official line is the sailors only received a few bananas (?) worth of radiation.

Their symptoms are psychosomatic according to some.

If the ship had to be decontaminated, isn't that what we call a smoking gun?

I seem to recall the poor frantic souls who were trying to scan the crew couldn't find a place on the ship to do that without the beeps going off. Eventually an interior area was secured.

Potassium iodide might have helped but remember a SPECTRUM of radiation was pouring out of Fukushima, and KI ain't useful for the toxins besides radioactive iodine.

I still don't get how the higher ups BELIEVED TEPCO?

The mechanics who serviced the helicopters sure knew something was up as the geiger counters went
waling especially on the nose cone.

    Can you imagine?

I often wonder about family that visited the crew in Honolulu afterward. Was it safe then?

    • OldFool

Every single person (everybody) who was on that ship after 3/11 needs an immediate and comprehensive blood test with statistics on every subtype of lymphocyte (white blood cell) without any delay. Pay cash if you have no insurance. This is urgent. Get it done by a competent civilian doctor office, before you do a second test through any Navy hospital. If you know them, spread the word.

      • jump-ball jump-ball

Skip the doctor and order your own CBC, or any other test you want, from PRIVATEMDLABS: Order and pay for it online, print the lab order, go to your nearest Labcorp for the draw, and get the results 3-4 days later in your email:

        • Pete

Thats a good lab link, but I dont see any radioassays or gamma spectrology, thats what i wish i could find. Lotsa universities with nuke medicine programs will test you for technitium but meh, living in hotSeatticle I want a Pu test (for what its worth). I also wonder when inhaling plutonium particles, how does that 100% beagle lethality in 5 years translate to humans?

I emailed one lab that said they do gamma spectro but they kept giving me circular answers and eventually stopped emailing me when I asked for clarification on their non-sense circular answers so im not hopeful.

And also since the FOIA docs state they are going to have to stop US labs from testing things for the hard to find isotopes.

      • OldFool

A competent oncology doctor should still be involved to order and interpret the tests and results. There are too many complexities. Besides the thyroid cancer and non-Hodgkin lymphoma risks, the other rad risks would be acute leukemia (for example, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)) and chronic myeloid leukemia (which would affect basophils, eosinophils and neutrophils). Those kids apparently have symptoms of fast progressing cancers, so quick and accurate diagnosis is really worth the cost.

    • Bones Bones

Nick, please stop thinking critically! How dare you not just trust what the military and government and corporations say!!! Is number of "bananas" now an official measure?

How about "standard smoothy" (1 banana/liter)?

Much of the official Fukushima story has been acted out in the Theater of the Absurd, but surely the claim that "their symptoms are psychosomatic" in reference to the large number of USS Ronald Reagan servicemen and women who were exposed to radioactive snow and have now fallen ill is not actually a line in that play.

Even if someone actually believed that, there is no way they could be idiotic enough to actually say it, is there??

    • artika rama

nick There is no psychosomatic cancer ,, PERIOD . They are lying through their teeth.

  • We Not They Finally

Yes, a lot of the docs that would be helpful in the sailors' lawsuit against Japan would be in American hands. Military hands. The same military who has done everything they could to wash THEIR hands of the painful, ongoing, multiple deaths they have caused for kids who were just trying to serve their country. It is totally wrong in the first place, that they are immune to lawsuits. They should in no way be immune to public ongoing outing.

What I would like to see is VETERAN'S groups organize, march, petition, do media appearances, etc., to force the military to come clean. Retired vets can help in this. I wonder if they are. After Agent Orange, Gulf War Syndrome, now this, one would think it would take high priority. Like these kids were serving WHO and WHAT??

This lawsuit is really bad juju— If people wake up and realize that radioactive stuff kills, they may start disagreeing with the military feeding indigenous people around the world with them depleted uranium twinkies, and calling it "aid." Might even affect the enlistment of young cannon fodder.

  • DrSpindrift

It is hard to understand how the officers of a nuclear powered ship could have had so little training that they allowed exposure of the crew to such a hazard. This must be negligent.

    • Bones Bones

It is, but the military is ALWAYS immune. You sign away all rights as a citizen and all culpability, you can't sue can you so the justice system is out, of the military upon joining, hence why a NUCLEAR POWERED aircraft carrier's crew has to sue TEPCO alone. The ship itself has sensors everywhere and they knew at all times exactly what was going on. (You don't need to know the specifics of the accident to get out of the detected plume of poisons.) They knew and the Navy itself knew. An American drone gave the first glimpse almost immediately after it happened. Also, we have satellites that can detect radiation level changes on the ground for nuclear explosions and meltdowns in other countries. I'm willing to bet those sat's turned straight to Fukushima Dai-Ichi and Dai-Ini(sp?). The ship itself had enough information to act independently. Does anyone barring the mentally handicapped believe a nuclear powered aircraft carrier DOESN'T have the ability to detect changes in radiation and especially in the water systems? I'm sure they would like to know if their reactor is leaking or not or if they become involved in nuclear war WHAT TO STAY AWAY FROM. lol It's so ridiculous you have to laugh. I just don't laugh thinking about the truly brave people on that ship. They weren't there for war, or destruction, but just to help.

      • Alaskan Ice Alaskan Ice

Bones, I know you're not an apologist for TEPCO's lies, so let me say that there are really two issues, one known and one (perhaps) kept hidden:

        (1) radiation exposure, measured by the ship's geiger counter readings (safe enough perhaps for government work) and,

        (2) the "hot-particles" inhaled, created by aerosolized and exploded fuel rods from the meltdown, a complete meltdown which was not disclosed by TEPCO.

Thus, if anything, it's wasn't the exposure; rather, it was the ingestion/inhalation of hot-particles.

In other words: How many x-rays would you prefer to breathing in a bunch of hot-particles?

The Captain of the USS Reagan may not have had the information from TEPCO needed to make that call.

    • TnDoc

      Yes. Beyond negligence. Criminal incompetency.

I'm not going to second guess the authorities of the greatest warship ever to sail the ocean blue. Obviously, we are all having difficulties understanding how the contamination could affect those American sailors. Maybe there was an error with the safety systems that caused the ships engine to SCRAM. Are there backup power systems that can generate enough juice to navigate an aircraft carrier out of harms way?

I did a brief search not long ago on digital watches dying due to radiation exposure and didn't find much. Obviously the USS R.R. was acutely bombarded with radioactive particles, but I can't imagine enough to kill a digital watch.

Does anyone know the science behind this theory? Please point me in the right direction

      • Pete

@Southbound I also researched this and it is not actually true, or at least not this telling.

The actual crews on the flight deck cannot wear watches or any jewelry, and all their pockets have to be sewn shut due to he damage potential of Foreign Object Debris entering a jet engine.

        • bo bo

Hi, do you have link to your research ?

          This is what I read-
          USS Ronald Reagan crew account:

“I had a digital watch,” said quartermaster Jaime Plym, “and it suddenly stopped working. Somebody made a crack that radiation would do that. There were five or six of us on deck and everyone looked at their watches — and all the digital watches had stopped. There was one that was real expensive, and it wasn’t working either.“We were laughing at first. But then that petered out and we just sort of looked at each other because it wasn’t funny anymore.” […]

            • Bones Bones

I would think an electronic watch operates on extremely low voltage being susceptible to excessive electrical energy. You throw in a battery with twice the voltage and it will blow itself out. Any chip delivered too high a voltage than what it was designed for will fail. Ever overclock a computer and push your voltage too high? lol Being exposed to such incredibly high amounts of ionizing radiation I could see it acting as a type of EMP-like effect burning out the electronics especially on a simple device with low-voltage chips. I do know that the neutron bombardment of said watches' metal would show evidence of radio-activated metals in the metal itself. I don't know if it's true or not (The watch story), but neutron activation is and has been used to determine if a blast was nuclear or not in a military reactor based off a man's watch, who was impaled into the ceiling by a control rod, IIRC, and his watch contained radio-activated gold. That led them to understand it was a nuclear explosion and not hydrogen. Either way, these theories could easily be tested.

          • Pete

I dont, just from prior knowledge I thought that when I first heard the story, and then I asked I guy I work with who used to work on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. He got out in 2010.

Its not that I doubt their story, in fact I fully believe it, but any foreign debris (watches, rings, coins) is extremely dangerous around jet planes. They dont want to risk blowing up a 30 million dollar jet and possibly crashing it on the deck and sinking the ship because something got sucked into a jet engine. Maybe the sailors are not talking about on the actual Flight Deck.

Also from what i recall reading its not so much the battery voltage but that solid state electronics break down and no longer follow our known laws of electrical physics in high radiation environments, which is also why the robots dont come back.

Once again, no reference, just heresay, but maybe someone on a carrier now or an electrical engineering type can comment better.

            • bo bo

Was the humanitarian mission of the USS Reagan taking place at the same time that the NRC FOIA documents reflect three core melts and fuel pool fires? It would seem that the three core melts and the fuel pool fires were happening at the same time. This was known to the NRC. The ship's navigator knew which way the wind was blowing. and where a plume might be. He might not have known of the core melts…. or fuel pool fires.

I hope that the hearings in Congress and the lawsuits reveal who was responsible for this outrage. Also, Japan offered no help to the sailors. Japan was too busy covering up where the plume was from their own citizens who fled into it.

The cover-up is what ends up dragging down presidents, if the Watergate case is any example. These orders to ignore the radiation plume must have come from high up the chain of command. The question is from whom and why. Either that, or there is no communication.

If the NRC knew, they were telling someone important. The ship sits in the harbor at San Diego. Can you decontamination an entire aircraft carrier? Can you unradiate hundreds of sailors?

and the rest of us were exposed to a lesser extent, too. We still are and will be I to the future. What are we, chopped liver?

Ask them if they saw or felt the radiation they were exposed to during their humanitarian rescue work off the coast of Fukushima after the 3/11 quake and tsunami. We 'lost' the entire aircraft carrier Reagan which spent 18 months in Seattle undergoing massive decontamination efforts and being stripped of vast amounts of its equipment which was transported and buried at the Hanford Nuclear facility. The ship today sits idle in San Diego and may never see service again. Tragically, it now appears the entire crew may ultimately be lost to active service…and maybe to the planet…time will tell.

Lawmakers seek data on sailors' exposure to Fukushima radiation

        By Patricia Kime
        Staff writer

House and Senate lawmakers want answers on whether U.S. sailors received high doses of radiation while supporting humanitarian operations in Japan following the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

In the fiscal 2014 omnibus budget bill, lawmakers direct Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs Dr. Jonathan Woodson to provide Congress a full accounting of those who served on the carrier Ronald Reagan during the operation and any medical problems they later developed.

A group of sailors has filed suit against Tokyo Electric Power Co., alleging they suffered health issues as a result of exposure to radiation leaked from the company-owned Fukushima nuclear power plant when it had a meltdown after the earthquake and subsequent tidal wave.

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, has 71 plaintiffs with ailments ranging from leukemia and thyroid problems to eye diseases and polyps.

The Pentagon has released data on the levels of radiation seen during and after the disasters and established a registry for 70,000 troops and family members who worked or lived near the affected region to monitor their health.

Officials have said that the Fukushima leaks were not a threat to health. They have said that, at least for the ground troops who served in the operation, the radiation doses they received were…

The more I think about it, the more suspicious it seems… maybe it's still too hot to be based in the states, where there's more scrutiny, and more people around who are becoming better informed and concerned… food for thought.

I don't think the general public around here REALLY understands what's going on (yet), but the move WAS announced shortly after news of the lawsuit surfaced… cover up? Quite possibly, especially when you figure in the fact that when the ship is relocated, so are most of the family members, so who's left to talk about it after that?

what I really enjoy, Arizonan, is we're supposed to believe the Israelis installed bombs within the reactor buildings, that were camouflaged as security cameras. The cameras were larger than normal-sized security cameras. That – alone – became justification for thinking they were really bombs in sheep's clothing. Of course, the fact they were being installed within – what would be – a potentially high radiation environment, and therefore, would require additional shielding (hardening) seems to elude some.

Conspiracy aside. I've said all along, it doesn't matter if tsunamis, Israelis, space aliens or combinations thereof were responsible for these meltdowns. That they have such irreversible effect when they meltdown, is reason alone for prohibiting their use within the planet's biosphere…

  • Pete

Who cares if Isreal did it, as your conspiracy theory indicates. This is why many people distrust the words of Shimatsu.

Even if it is true, we will never be able to prove it, and israel will never admit it, so it is a waste of time and a distraction from the facts of the situation.

In fact crazy conspiracy theories hurt our movement, because when your average everyday person comes here, they see all these crazy ideas that people spout on here and cant find the facts in all the BS.

Also even making any allegations against israel are gonna get people throwing around anti-Semite charges, as if because you make a statement about the nation of Israel that means you are also making a blanket statement somehow about all jews and next thing you know boo frigging who, you said something bad about their magic sky god book, waah waah.

It also attracts more agents promoting pro-israel sentiment, so Id say stick to the facts, and leave the theories somewhere else.

We Need More Facts. Less Theories.

      excellent thoughts, Pete…

Pete, fine, you dont like his theory, but "conspiracy theory" is as distasteful as "terrorist" or nuclear "chicken little" or other meta themes to control the subconscious. It denigrates. Even Max Keiser questions the earthquake damage. If the mossad, or CIA, or anyone or group is found to be culpable of something, this is key information. What group always takes offense? The superior man, or the insecure, or manipulative one?

    • tonybach

I for one certainly care "PETE". If they have done this to Japan, whats stopping them from doing this again? Scribblers like you on ENE, remind me of the early day's after 9/11. ANYONE who questioned the official explanation for that mass murder, was derisively referred to as a "CONSPIRACY THEORIST". Dare I mention the "Dancing Israeli's", "PETE", without being called "ANTI-SEMETIC"/ As Codeshutdown say's, sneeringly referring to someone as a C.T. is a put down; an INSULT. I would also like to remind you that millions of Jews worldwide, are vociferously opposed to Zionism, which is what we are really talking about. As you know all too well "PETE', anyone who questions the actions of SOME Israelis, is automatically called ANTI-SEMETIC. Understand?? Its a put down, like "Conspiracy Theorist". I never expected this on ENE. But it would appear that some posters have their own agenda. Lastly "PETE", I like to make my own mind up about what is and what is not the truth……. and a C.T. Understand??

What happens to the sailors happens to every living organism in the pacific ocean. Their time lifespan post 3/11/11 shows a segment of what will happen to humans after concentrated exposure. MOX fuel is extremely powerful even to external exposure on the skin in ionized atmospheric particulate form. The small electrical disruption becomes localized and shreds cell glutamate bonds preventing mitochondria from catalyzing DNA synthesis to produce RNA. Cell to cell communication is cut off 1 decay/bq at a time. These poor people were left to die as radioactive waste because no port would harbor a nuclear waste station.

Guess who's building a bunker on the Whitehouse lawn?

I'm not convinced that the elite will be successful in trying to save themselves and their friends and relatives and future slaves with an underground existence. They might be okay for a short while but ongoing survival seems unlikely to me.

(Oh, there was much more than this in the link. This is kind of an aside actually.)

        • nohobear nohobear

According to H G Wells, they will become (devolve) the cannibalistic Morlocks. Kind of makes sense because they feed and get fat on us now economically. Commercial nuclear power being a perfect example. Privatize the profits, socialize the costs onto the rest of us.

Southbound @ 3:11 pm has made an excellent point. If anything can awaken the sleeping public to the dangers of nuclear, the story of the service men and women on the Reagan needs to be front and center in the public consciousness.

        • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Donald, no one in this world will be able to escape the Nuclear Horror Nightmare that approaches and this Nuclear Black Plague has been spreading rapidly over the past 60 years worldwide. 🙁

You know this is a far right-wing conspiracy theorist site, right? With no credibility, right? Please tell me you have exercised critical thinking about your sources of information.

Fear of (fill in the blank) is taking hold.

    • Arizonan Arizonan

GOM, You know this is a parody site, right? You know this isn't the real whitehouse site right?

most people, Arizonan, read to believe and not to inform; that's, of course, if they bother to read at all…

BTW. this bunker was completed last year, and others around the world are building them. I have no insider information as to why. As these projects were in process long before Fukushima, I wouldn't bother drawing parallels. The likes of Jim Marrs (see second article) speculate that this is in response to insider information that Earth's to be invaded by space aliens.

There's whole industry now, that does nothing but pour conspiracy theory over the eyes of the public. That industry's sole objective is to obfuscate the more relevant and pressing issues. What's even more sad, there are well meaning people who get swept-up into the vortex of these poisonous conspiracies; much like chasing field mice. All the while, multinational corporations finagle hundreds-of-billions of dollars of our children's future legacy, into off-shore banking accounts. Yet, if some Arab sheik tried to sneak ten-dollars into my paltry bank account, that lone EFT would trigger every alarm bell within the NSA's secret bunker. Now kids…how's that for a conspiracy?

I dim light just came on at INdian Point NPP

Can you believe this guy falsified that the diesel fuel went bad for the back up generators at the plant and all he got was a $500 fine. But that's 200% more than anyone at TEPCO has had to pay.

  • Capt. Nemo Capt. Nemo

Obama's primary responsibility is to the corporations. In that respect he is no different from Congress and the Supreme Court. To admit that the sailors were exposed to dangerous levels of radiation would be to admit that Fukushima might conceivably pose a threat to human beings. And as one thing leads to another and another the USA might have to announce some precautionary measures and so on. The sailors and the ship were sacrificed to the appearances and were part of the USA's humanitarian image. Remember Benghazi where a few were sacrificed to the need for secrecy regarding the transference of arms. Really two recent wars were not about defense or the average American citizen who only has to foot the bill and occasionally and randomly yield up a soldier's death for the greater good of the corporate world.
Does this in any way violate some law of history? I think not, as this has been the case through out recorded history. If you are unwise enough to be in the vast underclass that encompasses most people everywhere you will die when the Ruling Class determines. You will work to pay their bills and fill their vaults with lucre. This is the human comedy. The bad joke of history and the only one that ever seems to play for any great length of time. Revolutions are all about the people changing the marquee. Say from monarchy to democracy or socialism or some new marvel of government. Behind the mask lurk the same pathological madmen who are the new rulers!

  • Pete

Very true, but a republican would be no different, they are both just different sides of the same plug nickel.

Look how long it took both the house and senate to shoot down the "No Insider Trading For Insiders" bill…like a minute and a half each?

One party says they are for the people but are really only out for themselves so they throw the people a bone now and then…one party says they are for big business but are really out for themselves and throw the big corps some bones weekly, but they pay a better return than the lowly people.

Why else would you spend 25 million of your own money for a 250k a year job….to help the people?

The governments primary goal is not protection of the people, people are only tools for profit for corporations… the primary goal of government is continuation of government. The governments number 2 goal is keeping the sheeple in their mental corrals, and shit you dont need a stick or a carrot to do that, they will fight to stay stupid.

So all in all I think we're screwed.

    • tonybach

Sounds like a bit of a "CONSPIRACY THEORY"to me PETE. You could also be accused of being anti-Semitic Pete. Did you know most of the Democratic and Republican members of Congress are funded by AIPAC? And you know who pulls their strings don't you? Its the same in Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France; ad infinitum.

  • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Could not agree more.. "So all in all I think we're screwed." in the end.. 🙂

Bend over and take your medicine! By the way, that statement, will soon be the law of the land! 🙂

Here come the latest on the fukushima issues on rense radio now.

  • That is some sick stuff. These guys don't know what they are playing with. Radiation is no joke. It can damage your DNA, genes, and create birth defects in your children. Protect yourself if you're in a high radiation area. Test it for yourself and you will know for sure! Then get your hands on some zeolyte powder as it can help you detox radiation out of your body!

    • artika rama

holistic I am sorry to say , but i dont agree , The only protection against radiation is prevention . We can ONLY prevent it getting into our body , into the tissue . Once its there there is not much we can do . all that detox ideas are misleiding .

        Kenny Roberts; The Gambler

Go here first to get the gist of the Nuclear reactor jab>

        On a radioactive summer's eve
On a train bound from nuclear Hell

I met up with a Uranium gambler

We were both too contaminated to sleep

So we took turns a-starin’

Out the window at the meltdown disaster

The fear overtook us, he began to speak

        He said;

        "Son, I've made a life
Out of polluting’ people’s lives and places
Knowin' what the odd's were

By the fear they had in their eyes

So if you don't mind my sayin’
I can see you got fear in you're eyes

For a taste of your uncontaminated water
I'll give you some advice"

So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow

Then he bummed my last joint

And asked me for a light

And the night got deathly quiet

And his faced lost all expression

He said;

"If you're gonna play the nuclear game, boy

You gotta learn to play it right

        • Gasser Gasser

You've got to know when to bullshit 'em

Know when to not tell 'em

          Know when to walk away

          Know when to run

You never count your blood money
When you're sittin' at the NRC table

There'll be time enough for countin'

          When the death dealin's done

          Every nuke reactor gambler knows

That the secret to money survivin’
Is knowin' how many MOX rod's to use
And knowin' how many are in the pool

'Cause every bad water pump's a loser
And every meltdown a potential ELE
And the best that you can hope for
Is to die in your sleep"

          And when he finished speakin'

He turned back toward the window
Took one more hit off the Ganja fatty
And faded off to into Cesium's death

And somewhere in the darkness

The gambler he never broke even
And in his final words

I never found faith that I could keep

You've got to know when to cold’em
Know when to shut 'em down

          Know when to walk away

          And know when to run

You never count your blood money
When you're sittin' at the NRC table
There'll never be time enough for countin'

When death dealin' radiation is done

In the NW, the weather has been profoundly effected. Pinksail, your descriptions of a snake like winding path of waste hitting us helps me understand the way one tree looks completely brown and dead, the next like it was splashed with acid, and the next one undamaged.

I will be posting a meet up in the events listings here in Portland, thinking at Powell's Books for local
Enenewsers. We could lose this thread and would miss the connection. I will be in touch on that.

Must go, but could keep reading for hours, and have done when time allowed. Appreciating the one rare place where the truth is being recognized, shared and pushed forward. Thanks to all…later.

Many of you are overlooking the fact that the Reagan gets its fresh water from the sea. Intake valves send it through a desalination plant and then througout the ships water pipes. They showered, drank and cooked with super radiated water. The water they used was highly Iridiated. (tritiated water) T20 is the sign for tritium tainted water. Tritium is radioactive hydrogen. Not only did they suffer exposure from the airborne plumes, all of the troops inside the ship got exposed from the ships water supply. Every sailor and marine on the ships of operation tomoddachi are screwed. Who is the man in charge of ALL military operations? Thats right, obama. Ultimately HE is responsible. PERIOD!!! Doesnt matter what color or party he is. This falls on himm and NOT a WORD one of his responsibility if this tradegy. 30 days these troops were anchored within a mile of the worlds deadliest mess. Obama is also responsible for lying to us and not warning us to stay indoors at the worst right after 3/11. He should be brought up on court marshall charges if you ask me. Impeachment is too good for this monster. 30 days in the unit 3 reactor HOLE outta do the trick……………………………..
