The Axis leaders of World War II, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Emperor Hirohito, Prime Minister Hideki Tojo and Fumimato Konoe would be VERY, VERY, VERY PROUD
This is truly a masterpiece of mass murder. Which demonized psychopath would not be envious? It’s so time and cost effective, far reaching and unnoticed.
A much better thought out system then Hitler’s clockwork of mass evacuation, transportation and gas-execution.

I’ve been thinking……and concluded that people act more directly to visual threats. People can’t take the invisible radiation threat seriously because they can’t see it. I mean basically that’s how our primitive brain works. So, based on this i would suggest for us to try and make it visible for these people. We should spread undesired images of what radiation causes at every chance ……this people will notice…….this will stay with them, in their heads, this i believe is the most direct, confronting way to slap people awake………….
    What do you think?

Yes matina,…very much the point I’m seeing.
This reminds me of the short movie,…”The Silent Scream”. It’s an ultrasound of a tiny fetus being aborted. The darling curls her/his little legs up to avoid the thrashing blades,…and yes, SCREAMS,….but only silent from the womb. Yeah, really P’s some off to hear or see that truth.
    Out of sight,…..GONE,…NEVER HAPPENED!

For example,…when they show that short film to a pregnant teenager,….9 out of 10 times,…she cancels the abortion. I make no statement herein, except that all people should have all the facts,…..before they are to ‘choose’. An unenlightened, naive person,…is not making volitional decisions!

Destroyed for 6+ months, still leaking and consuming massive amounts of capital investment, and they talk about the possibility of major critical radiation release after only a day and a half without water. There is no end in sight, and while F… is a fact and we have to ride it out, this should make us think seriously about the continued use and development of nuclear power. Fact is, it is going to be expensive to shut down plants without problems, but we dare not gamble on additional meltdowns.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. This madness must end NOW.

Just knowing what would happen if the power grid went down for several days should cause anyone’s hair to stand on end. That could easily happen as a result of a terrorist attack. Many reactors would meltdown at once. I know this has been said before, but you can’t say it too many times.

BTW, doesn’t it take about ten years to cool the fuel in a reactor to the point of being able to remove it for storage? So, even if we did start now, we would still be vulnerable for many years. It’s a catastrophe just waiting to happen.

I can’t believe that this japanese newspaper still writes that the core is still in the steel vessel.

At the same time they state that the core would melt after 38 hours without cooling. Today. After six months decay.

It is not that difficult to imagine how many minutes were long enough in the beginning to let the core melt. And, knowing how hot a molten core is, it is again a matter of minutes until it burned through the steel vessel.

Get real, it is physically impossible that the vessel still has a closed floor.

@ Tomb1, Hello again. I must respectfully disagree. I am not a scientist or a so called expert, but I take what I do know for sure & think that most or all of that fuel is still in that building. Everything else is speculation until they can get a camera in there. I may be wrong, but maybe not.

      Have a good night, IK

it never had. the control rods are applied from the bottom. the are not build to hold hot fuel, only built to hold water and steam pressure, not molten metal. thats the problem now, with rods and controls from above they may have had a chance to monitor the inside. and with the upside installations gone in the explosions they have locked themselves out.

  • It is amazing that with these developments solar energy stocks are being traded down to zero in the last couple of months. A war is being waged. Can we do something?

Can you imagine a future where all the existing political arguments no longer exist? In a future when people and businesses are relying on the sun for its energy the human population will no longer be arguing over resource access. Threats to sea life and plant life and human life from wars and from accessing hard to get fossil fuels resulting in environmental degradation will be a concern of the past. Our nation instead will turn to new urgent concerns such as health and education with plenty more financial resources from the dramatic savings in energy expenditures to pay for them. Relationships between countries and our fellow countrymen will transform dramatically more positive.
Solar technology and other clean energy technology is here and ready for explosive growth. With the full backing of our political leaders we can quickly move forward towards a better existence. Please join me in petitioning our leaders in Washington to devote more investment spending in the area of clean energy. Thank you.
