Physicians for Social Responsibility Press Conference 4/26/11, , April 26, 2011:

On Tuesday April 26, 2011, Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) held a joint press conference with Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Massachusetts) and the Institute for Policy Studies’ Robert Alvarez on the ongoing impact of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster to public health 25 years after the accident, the continuing nuclear catastrophe in Fukushima, Japan, and the lessons from both for U.S. public health and safety.

At 7:30 in

Former PSR President Jeff Patterson, osteopathic physician: … Recent reports show that the Cesium levels around the Chernobyl plant have not declined as we anticipated they would…

They never did …..bury it in concrete.

Sounded safe. But more pratical people prevaled on doing that stunt.

” Out of sight out of mind “. It does not work with melted fuel.

    • Go to YouTube and do a search on: busby cover reactor

You’ll get a whole slew of useful videos featuring Christopher Busby Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risks. One of those (actually the 13th video down in the list) has the title:

Japan: Busby – Can’t seal Fukushima like Chernobyl

Well technically, ‘not declined as anticipated’ – doesn’t mean there was no decline. Incomplete information.

Well, what is the problem ? Radioactivity is GREAT.

USA uses nuclear medicine on anything they can possible think of. Same Iodine that is so bad coming from Fukushima.

People are being given radioactive isotopes in radiation tracking fluids. Makes for better profits for the radiation / nuclear industry.

If a person falls down ANYWHERE. QUICK. get X RAYS in the emergency room.

Where is each person GIVEN a radiation DOSIMETER at birth, to keep adding up all the radiation for medical & dental treatments ?????
You would be over the limits by age 20 if you played any sports or APPLIED FOR A JOB.

FULL set of X RAYS required by some companies. For pre existing medical problems.

Wow! That’s a serious bit of news there. Gee, what would I have ever done without knowing this? Energy News – you complete me…

As Bugs Bunny once said; “Tis no long for this world…”

I posted some links to the funding and that it later had been approved to deal with the cost of sealing Chernobyl again ! I am on a dif. teminal.

  • *creepy clouds here

*We normally never have black clouds during midday… But, there were tornadoes last night and we just had a nasty I-131 rainfall! :(
There are big, weird, dark clouds here…

Here is a good site with many models to see where the Jet Stream is now and in up to 5 days ahead–

    http://squall.sfsu.edu/gif/jetstream_anal_00.gif
    Animated: http://squall.sfsu.edu/gif/jetstream_loop.gif

You can see how hard and how constantly CA is being hit with anything radioactive in that Jet stream. Nearly everyday it swipes up the West Coast.
For example, here’s 48 hours from now-

    and 60 hours from now–

Well, Mexico (not to incl. Baja California) is still looking comfy as a food source. Mexico has huge agricultural production, especially organics! :)

I watch the models, but how to best plan an air flight these days??…Do not submit to enhanced x-ray machines!

      haarp….

in the uk the press do not talk about japan and the little nuke problem..
they talk about important stuff like the wedding..
well i betya it will rain a little radiation on all those happy people tommorow.
those haarp guys do not seem to be taking a day off.

Didn’t Mexico get hit though initially? And if it did was it raining? It would be great if it did not as Trader Joes has a lot of organic produce from there. I was just at TJ and they assured me that if radioactivity was and issue they would not carry the food. Somehow, I doubt they are screening everything. I am looking at cucumbers from Canada. Those must be hothouse cucumbers because they are coming out of winter. Are thecucmbers from the east or west coast? So many questions, so few answers.

    A active nuclear volcano

It struck me last night, that Fukushima is like a active volcano, that periodically erupts, but has periods of time between eruptions in which volcanic gases escape continuously into the atmosphere.

Living downwind of an active nuclear volcano is full of challenges.

It requires aggressive countermeasures for decades.

    Update on air filtration project

Today I added two more electrostatic cell/carbon air filtration units to the original test unit that has been running in my home. I am still assembling the parts for a unit I will be installing in my car.

I understand a few will feel these measures are excessive responses to the low levels of particulate thus far detected. However, these changes I am making are not only for the present levels of contamination, but preparation for the next few decades of exposure. The intention of these measure is to reduce the chances of internal ingestion of particulates within my home.

These standards of safety have not been adopted by everyone and is a matter of personal choice. It’s like those who like to choose organic over commercial grown, a matter of choice. I have chosen to live in my home, inhaling a higher purity level of air in the years to come. It is not a judgement upon those who do not choose to make this change.

Just think of it snowing and you can’t see it, Because that is what it is doing unseen !
