More bruise on eastern Japanese, Fukushima Diary, Dec. 13, 2011:
Japanese famous people are blogging about their mysterious bruise as well.
Nakagawa Shoko, a Japanese idol (SOURCE)
- Blogged about her bruise around her thighs on Dec. 10 and Dec. 12
- She says she doesn’t know why she had them, and they look huge
Inoue Harumi, a Japanese actress (SOURCE)
- Bruise around [baby son's] legs though nothing was wrong until afternoon of the day
- She took him to a hospital on Nov. 22
- Nothing was wrong according to the blood test
- She thinks she wrapped the diaper too tight

Anti clotting? Any ideas anyone? Is this an isolated event or are more people having same experience?

I am sorry. But, I believe that this is the onset of leukemia. Any experts on hematopoietic system radiation exposure symptoms? I am not. This could be the point where marrow and blood vessels are compromised.
Report Comment
Bruises which expand to large size are one of the symptoms of leukemia. It could be the young woman has other blood issues and anemia, or that something else is causing her blood to clot poorly. Maybe it’s a problem with her bone marrow. Hard to say. I do hope people aren’t already developing leukemia en masse.
The author of Fukushima Diary recently posted he has a very large bruise on his belly. He said many people are getting such bruises, but that it’s “an unconfirmed report” at this point. That post can be found under the “unconfirmed reports” link at his site.
http://fukushima-diary.com/2011/12/eastern-japanese-are-starting-to-have-bruise-on-their-bodies/
Let us hope and pray things do not get worse than they already are. I hope and pray Arnie Gunderson is correct in his thinking the three melted corium are probably lying inside the containment “flattened like pancakes” and they are not working their way down toward the water table ….
It’s very disturbing to hear Unit 4 now appears to be missing a wall, too.
Where will this end?
Someone recently posted here about how they remember how relatively carefree life was last year, and how much things have changed. Alas! It seems things HAVE changed forever. Pandora’s box is open, and the ugly genie cannot be put back into the bottle!
Every day I get up and read the news, half expecting to read the whole Fuku-complex has blown sky high ….
Ho-Taters (Hot Taters!) over and out.

Excuse me, that report from Fukushima Diary was a report about a bruise on the abdomen of one of his friends — not his own abdomen. And he didn’t say it was large. My mistake.

I would like to know what celebrities have left Tokyo and Japan completely since Fukushima started. I will add the two I know:
1. Shimada Shinsuke suddenly quit his very long career earlier this year due to what was likely a manufactured scandal (yakuza dealings which may be true but used as an excuse) and has left to Okinawa.
2. Marie left Japan earlier this year to “study” at design school in NY (http://bit.ly/sg6ktr). I do not believe this was the real reason, why suddenly this year? Also, her English level is very poor.
Just for the record, I think they did the right thing by leaving but they should not try to disguise their reasons for leaving so as to keep others in the illusion of being safe. They are well within their rights and I think more should…as I also did.
Report Comment
If these types of reports do, in fact, indicate spread of disease and illness due to Fukushima fallout will the people of Japan finally rise up and take action against all the criminals responsible for the deception?
Those responsible = Japanese government (Edano liar as first), TEPCO execs and coward CEO, IAEA, Japan media execs, reporters and anchors who repeated the propaganda lies and finally so called “experts” who have told the public that they are safe and there was no “immediate” health threat. Put all of these people in prison, or better yet….send them to Fukushima Daiichi to clean the site manually until they are completed.

Step aside son, I play a doctor on the internet. I can tell you what it is not. It is not a sunburn. It is not a pimple. It is not a rash. It does not appear to be an infection. Process of elimination says it is a bruise. Nowthen, what causes a bruise? Blunt force injury? Blood vessels disintegrating? I would see what these women have in common. Such delicate tissues can be prone to rupture if blood pressure is increased to accomodate a cardiovascular disease.I don’t think they are fumbling over themselves too much to find a diagnosis. Look, if you can’t prove that it is NOT stress. Then, lets just call it stress.

There have been several posts lately about spots, such as that on the face of the youngish minister in charge of the Tohoku emergency — what is his name? Are there more recent photos of him? — left side of face. The Hibakusha remember getting such spots if they returned to Hiroshima or Nagasaki in the first few months. There ought to be medical literature on these observations from that time.

Put away the guillotine goathead. I can appreciate your frustration but we don’t want to prosecute any victims. Let’s first separate the perpetraitors from the innocent. There was a time for action and the correct action was not taken. There is a time for fact-finding and evidence gathering. Their excuse will be that this course of action they have taken has produced the best possible outcome that could have happened considering such a titanic disaster. Unless evidence is uncovered that proves to the contrary, that is. It just boggles the fucking mind how arrogant, negligent, and incompetent those perpetraitors have been.

http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/medical_examiner/2011/04/tiny_nukes.html
Here is another thing that MD types should be looking for. A blood test will tell her pretty much everything.
“Plasma cell tumors in the bone marrow crowd out the normal components of the marrow, resulting thereby in decreased numbers of red blood cells, platelets, and other white blood cells. This problem then results in fatigue and shortness of breath (decreased red cell count), bleeding or easy bruising (low platelet count), and increased susceptibility to infections (low white blood cell count).” http://www.emedicinehealth.com/myeloma/article_em.htm

The start of tissue damage could be the cause. The timeline for the bruises would be important to know. How quickly they appeared and if the individuals feel pain or the nature of this bruise. If it is caused by radiation then we are in for a rough December because the time it took for these kinds of symptoms to manifest seems quite short.

This is what happens with acute radiation exposure.. They say that part of it involves bruising.. http://www.bt.cdc.gov/radiation/arsphysicianfactsheet.asp

Eastern Japanese are starting to have bruise on their bodies
This kind of posts will be “unconfirmed” forever.
A Japanese citizen talked about his own symptoms on a Japanese forum.
In his case, a bruise appeared on his stomach and it does not hurt even if he touches it.
This is only one of the many cases posted on the internet.
I expect someone who got through Chernobyl or has radioactive medical knowledge to see this picture.
His symptoms are:

“Reports of leukemia, for instance, peaked at four to five years after the bombs for children under 15 years of age at the time of the bombings, and 20 to 22 years later for adults 45 years and older. For children under 10 years of age who had been within 1,650 yards of the hypocenter, leukemia rates were 18 times higher than the rest of the population. For youths 10 to 19 years of age within 1,650 yards of the hypocenter, leukemia rates were eight times higher.”
http://iis-db.stanford.edu/pubs/22140/Radiation_Effects_WebV.pdf
If the rates of leukemia are already going up, as several reports here have indicated via reports from hospitals, this is going to be much worse than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki aftermath.
I wonder if anyone is collecting this information?

Easy bruising or a nosebleed can be caused by a number of medical conditions including: Low platelet count
http://www.raysahelian.com/bruising.html
Radiation reduces production of blood platelets.
http://www.tirgan.com/thrpenia.htm
In other words, you may bruise more easily because the number of your platelets is reduced due to radiation exposure.
Radiation Side Effects and Ways to Manage Them:
http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/coping/radiation-therapy-and-you/page8
Since “blood counts may be fine” after a visit to the doctor [hands clasped in prayer]…
Don’t forget earlier articles in which deformation of cells, changes in cell membrane structures, changes in metabolites and in hormones, increased markers of inflammation, and changes in blood viscosity were noted due to the effects of radiation exposure.
Besides cell necrosis it affects everything.
Phenomena: “Sickle Cell Pains”, bruising, itchy skin, red skin.

“…elevated levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, CRP, TNF-α and INF-γ… have been observed in the Japanese atomic bomb survivors [18],[19].
There was also dose-related elevation in erythrocyte sedimentation rate and in levels of IgG, IgA and total immunoglobulins in this cohort, all markers of systemic inflammation [19].”

@ Or-well,
maybe, but sometimes Experience can be a good Teacher!
It is not the first time that the Fukushima Diary
claimed something unsustainable.
But everyone is free to look for Information
but sometimes we also need to draw the consequences,
a source who failed so many times is not a source anymore!
Report Comment
An interesting dilemma.
Lawyers try to discredit witnesses by catching an error, then claiming the witness is unreliable (falsus in unum, falsus in omnibus).
Trolls plant disinformation and nonsense on a site so people will come to think the site is unreliable.
Human beings make errors.
So… we all have to find a filtering system for ourselves, and just keep looking for evidence and confirmation from sources we believe. Sometimes truth first appears in unlikely places (and sometimes not).

And you think comments you have made are “scientific”? Got a job blogging?

@Human0815,
multiple issues here.
You have every right to be sceptical of everything given all the MISinfo around.
Every thinking adult knows anecdotal reports must be considered for what they are, including yours & your friends & colleagues & F. Diarys’.
If you perceive Fukushima Diary as an unreliable source – of some info or all info -that is your choice. It seems you will not regard FD as a source of info anymore, also your choice.
Providing anecdotal info does not invalidate the concerns F. Diary is expressing. No one has to take such things as fact. But FD is only one source.
Pursue your enquiries a broadly as you wish, but issuing blanket condemnations based on your own anecdotal evidence is no more reliable than what you are criticising.

@ Or-well,
you are right
but my “Evidence” get not re-posted on countless other Blogs/ Alternative Media,
look for example the Story with
“Reactor 4 is falling”,
such a story is catastrophic for us here in Japan!
He is crying “Wolf, Wolf, Wolf”
and when the Wolf
is really knocking on our Door
no one will come to help us!

@Human0815,
We all just want to be told the straight facts Human. That we have to do the job our Media should do- researching, fact-checking, questioning every statement, trying to uncover the spin, private agenda, bias and manipulation- is frustrating.
Can you not see that Mochi-zuki is sad, frustrated and frightened too ?
How many voices are coming from Japan that are questioning the “official story”?
You see him crying “Wolf!
I see him crying “Help!”
If his sometimes hasty anecdotal reports lack substantiation at times and even if they are sensationalist at times, are they not helping at least to draw attention to the problems being so thoroughly ignored in Media worldwide ?
Many would come to help you in Japan if we could Human. Know that at least.

Reactor 4 may not be falling, or failing–but for TEPCO or the Japanese government to remnove sections of the building..with the danger of radiatdion to the workers being so high..SOMETHING caused TEPCO to get into action! With work at night, with webcams out of focus, with filters on webcams — would then to make one believe there are issues with Reactor 4–and all the other reactors. And to declare a “cold shutdown soon”..when no scientific data gives information on the corium (cores) which melted thru the containment vessels..we read all the blogs, determine the situation to OUR best needs. Those needs include the life and health of our family members–outside Japan. And with prayers for those living in Japan who face the immediate threat.
