It is very simple. He doesn't want to have to answer the big question, Why did he reassign the Head of DNR, Scott Angelle, at the time the sinkhole first appeared, to his new much more important job with LSU. This move stinks of a coverup and he doesn't want to answer any questions related to that decision. Period. Going to Bayou Corne would mean facing that question, which he will not do. Perhaps if the residents made a promise to only ask about safety and relief issues, he might reconsider.

Bobby might visit now for the publicity. I can't believe he hasn't made an effort to console the people of Bayou Corne and get them compensation. I certainly would not want him as my Gov. of course Tom Corbett the Gov. of my state is another worthless politician and I do hope he does not get re-elected. Thanks for fracking up our beautiful farmland and destroying our rivers, Tom hope you're enjoying all the money from the energy companies, you know, the ones who bought the election for you. Another good cause "move to amend". We need responsible, sensible people in the system and until we get big money out of the election process we will continue to be held hostage by arrogance, ignorance, etc. JMHO

Can you hear the.. "not just no, but hell no!!"

    Not going, no way!!

Suppose he knows something we don't know?
Any chance his Industry Friends might be giving him the straight info? Perhaps something along the lines of the whole place could go, at anytime? Maybe? Hmmm… sure makes you wonder..

They surely could not afford to loose a good Governor.

"Some of those living in the area and affected by the sinkhole say the governor's actions are too little, too late.

"Me and my family don't want to see Governor Jindal," said one caller to a Baton Rouge radio station. "We don't want to shake hands with him. We don't want to vote for him anymore. We really don't care what he does at this point."

Listeners flooded the Clarence Buggs Show with anti-Jindal calls.
