    From the video:

    "Please help."

"At this moment, children of Fukushima are the major victims of internal exposure to radiation from contaminated local foods."

"The cafeteria for the government officials only allows a radioactive food contamination limit of one Becquerel, yet the allowable safety limit for the food of the childre of Koriyana is ten Becquerels."

Shameless Japanese Politicians !! They couldn't lead a horse to water !

The Japanese 'leadership' has no choice since it represents the business . This mother cry made it even more obvious because only a Retard ( or a Traitor to his Nation ) would not order immediate evacuation !
Further proof to this is the fact that in Socialist Russia ( ex Soviet Union ) the evacuatin around Chernobyl was done immediately . Why ? Because was no business ( capitalism ) to intervene …

Jay, you are right, "They couldn't lead a horse to water !" even if they could the water would be toxic!

Jay, I agree with your sentiment. I lived there for 8 years and quit my job and came home (Massachusetts) on March 28, 2011 because of Fukushima Daiichi.
Japan is actually a socialist nation. It is not true capitalism like the U.S. The government has prioritized their economy over the well-being of the people. After living there so long, this does not surprise me. It does disgust me and had a huge impact on my family.

Of course, today it is different in the most contaminated parts of Belarus, where the immigrants from the east and south east are not allowed to leave Belarus.

Where is the link to the video? I click and can't find it anywhere.

Hostages to their own murderous leaders.

Like so many others. We are learning who runs things, and they don't give a damn about us.

    • Yes, we're all getting Cyprus-ed.

      People have lost faith.

WWW3 is about to break out in Asia – probably any minute now, with the U.S. being suckered into it.

If you know how disaster capitalism works, you'll know their first thought when they wake up in the morning is:

How can I do harm? How can I cause maximum suffering?

There's money in suffering. Those who speak against are labelled 'bleeding hearts' (or liberals).

    So many lives
    that need repair,
the damage to out planet dear…
    helpless Children, their Mothers' fears,
their Fathers absent, the longing clear,
most tender love, and Official neglect,
    with empty promises to protect,
the gaping chasm 'tween Mighty and Meek,
when it is so little the Humble seek…
if tears could shout the sky would thunder
and were rage lightning be torn asunder,
if despair were flame the world would burn
and if sadness a brake would cease to turn…
Always and everywhere stand first for the Mothers
that THEIR voices are heard, first among others,
that THEIR concerns be known and not smothered,
that THEIR needs be met, THEIR hopes discovered,
that the Truth of Life-Bringers be fully recovered
before one more voice of strife and trouble
brings one more cloud of Death to hover
    and threaten Humanitys' most beloved.

They ask for help, but I'm not sure how people outside of Japan can help. Would writing to U.S. officials do any good? I don't think Japanese officials would be swayed by letters from foreigners when they are already ignoring the pleas of their own people.

The website where the video is posted also asks for donations. Does anyone know how one could verify the legitimacy of this organization before donating to it?

    • Time Is Short Time Is Short

The government has money to relocate them. They want them to die in place, for 'honor'. They're not going to allow mass evacuations at this late date. The money will get tied up somewhere, never to help evacuate. Save your donations for the new, to be well-documented hospice organizations. That's what Japan has to look forward to. Then the US.

Iam335, you might want to check the "Events" Forum page, and scan the links. Some of the activists from Japan know people who post there. Am thinking it would be a means of checking the credentials of this organization.

Or you could ask at that part of the Forum, and someone can probably advise you.

What's wrong with humanity at what point did we lose our bearings, it is fundamental logic that you protect your offspring at all cost or go extinct, what has changed this principle or am I out to lunch.

  • We Not They Finally

This article says that the mothers of being made afraid of what the NEIGHBORS think? I say, keep those neighbors in their high radiation pen, imprison every Japanese official complicit in this, and please GET THOSE MOTHERS AND CHILDREN OUT OF THERE!!

I juat can't read any more tonight. Sometimes I can't help but cry when I read how badly things are going.

So now there will be a process similar to fracking, to extract uranium?

    This is insanity.

    • HoTaters HoTaters

This will be done in the U.S. that is. (Per Enenews headline article today.) I could hardly believe what I read.

I guess the state of Texas is toast, too.

Japan is FUBAR. So goes Texas ….

  • guesser

Maybe mothers and fathers could immigrate from Japan by marrying those willing to bring them and their children to their country.

    • SnorkY2K

I have a single son (24) who needs a strong willed wife who likes anime and manual transmission cars. I'll buy the plane ticket. He probably would not one with children. But, he could provide a way out for an adventurous young woman who would like a life away from the radiation.

As desperate as the situation is there, the Chinese are sabre rattling over some uninhabited Japanese Islands in the China Sea. God help us if this instability will drag China into attacking Japan and Taiwan. Korea would make its move and now maybe you understand why the U.S. is moving its Naval Assets to the Far East from the Mid-East. Apparently Iran didn't work, so now it will be Japan, Taiwan, and maybe Hawaii for good measure. We'll just have to wait and see, but the Japanese are in no position to defend the Senkakus Islands alone.

    • Time Is Short Time Is Short

Why would the Chinese fight an opponent that is soon to be rendered incapacitated due to mass radiation poisoning? All they have to do is wait a year or two and it's all over. It would take a couple of years to do the mapping before they start drilling anyway. Don't forget that the Chinese are very good with long term planning, something the rest of the world gave up decades ago.

As far as the US helping, our military forces aren't going to be in great physical shape, either. All the military stationed in Japan since 3/11 will be mostly dead or too sick to fight, and the new recruits won't want to go into a radiation hot zone to die of the same, just to fight some Chinese that want to extract gas and oil, while their families are all dying back home in the US from the same radiation poisoning.

We are only two years into the worst extinction level event in the history of this planet. The next two are going to be worse than the first two.
