Title: Revealed: secret evacuation plan for Tokyo after Fukushima
Source: The Independent
Author: David McNeill
Date: Friday 27 January 2012
‘Spine-chilling’ thought of an uninhabitable capital pushed Prime Minister to scrap nuclear powerThe Japanese government feared that millions of Tokyoites might have to be evacuated during the worst of last year’s nuclear crisis, but kept the scenario secret to avoid panic in some of the world’s most crowded urban areas, according to an internal report. [...]
The latest revelations will revive criticism that the authorities have been less than forthcoming since the crisis erupted, and add to suspicions that they are still downplaying the impact of radiation. [...]

Any countries willing to offer asylum to radiation refugees? I’m afraid the Pacific Ocean won’t do unless we evolve fins or something. Besides, it’s contaminated as well.
Okay, now we know you were scared $hitless over this disaster. Time to come clean. Confession is good for the soul, according to the Catholics.
Remember Buddha? ‘Right livelihood’. Let me put it this way. It’s not this uncontrollable energy that has the capability to literally wipe out every single species on our planet.
This is the real ‘terror’, not some abstract word to declare war on.

Nah. Australia only seems to take illegal invaders from the middle east nowadays. No way are they refugees. I would rather have the folks from Japan, who are well educated and hard working, who would be genuine refugees. If Japanese ppl want to seek refuge in Australia, they will have to head off to Indonesia and pay a fortune to some vile people smuggler to get them into Australian waters. You have to wonder why these invaders are willing to risk death to get into Australia, unless its our ridiculous welfare state insanity that will give them money, houses, food, goods, all for nothing. Must be like winning the lottery.

Apparently Canada will be greatly increasing its immigration targets. I think the main criterion will be that you must be wealthy (and therefore more likely to vote for the present Conservative government, once you get here).

Maybe if this fear gets enough attention, other countries will reconsider pushing forward for nuclear power, and with a bit of luck, some might start to decommission at the very least their oldest reactors.
I’d be real happy to see more decommissioning of all reactors everywhere, though ignorance and greed usually prevail.

Yeah, Metropolitan Tokyo has well over 30 million people and evacuating all those people into the relatively small collection of islands called Japan would be more then inconvenient for everyone so much better to resign and let the spin doctors do their work. Now Kan can say what he wants and is apparently blameless. No accountability it seems from no one. Are USA politics any different?

I can’t understand how Japan doesn’t see this as a growing problem. Do they have some delusion that because the accident began a year ago the worst is far behind them. This is a creeping, moving invading situation that is on going. Surely they must see their island growing smaller each day with the increased amounts of radiation polluting everything it reaches. They will need to think about evacuating the island not just Tokyo. How do they imagine living on an island with three nuclear reactors errupting continuously for the rest of eternity …I just don’t get that.

One potential solution to this massive Japanese exodus could be “China’s Ghost Cities”

I kind of doubt Japan will ever be totally evacuated. It’s pretty hard to give up your entire identity by force. They have a very long history and it won’t be easy to give that up. An entire culture uprooted. It’s just extremely sad. It’s depressing to look forward 30 years and think about the future Japan, but I don’t think the island would ever be totally evacuated.
The comment about the shrinking island is a scary thought. I am sure many Japanese think the same thing, but don’t tell anyone else. Must be like a vague feeling or thought in the back of your head that doesn’t quite seem real, but you know it is. Probably two things could happen and it depends on how bad or obviously bad the situation becomes in minds of Japanese citizens during the subsequent years. They could overthrow a government that has become completely and obviously corrupt or they accept the situation and try to deal with the problem within the current system. I don’t think there will be nuclear reactors in Japan in 10 years, but that really comes down to which road Japan follows. Depends on what the people do, not the government. In the end, the “accident” still happened and that won’t change.
I always thought it was such a cool and mysterious place, but now it will be scarred till long, long after I’m dead. I think if I ever get there it will be for different reasons than before 3/11.

One thing obvious to those that know, and I know, the Japanese hate the Chinese and the Chinese hate the Japanese.
To make a Japanese go live in a ghost city and probably work some near slave like job for a Chinese master, well most Japanese would rather take a large chance with radiation, the way it is folks.

I took a train from Irkutsk, Russia, to Beijing and saw several Chinese ghost cities along the way. It was bizarre. Towns had roads, light and electric poles, large apartment buildings and box store type buildings – and no people. There weren’t even small towns for fifty miles or more between these brand new, empty cities. After the tsunami and meltdowns, I though of these cities, wounding if one day the Japanese would relocate there. I have often wondered why these cities were built – they are literally in the middle of nowhere.

I liked it. It is a parody.
It is so interesting that some on this site have been compelled to poetry, rap, parody. I even wrote what I called an “almost Haiku”, link below.
There are so many people unaware of this issue that maybe something unique like a song or poem will eventualy reach others and make them aware.
Imagine a few famous artists singing songs about this crisis and the awareness it could bring.
Some of you may remember the “No Nukes” album from 1979 that so many artists contributed. We could certainly use something like that to happen again to bring awareness to this issue.

Yes, a parody. Wierd Al Yankovic could write something brilliant, were he persuaded to do it.
Mine is just an amateur effort. I was trying to write something along the lines of what they used to print in the old Mad Magazines. Those were spoofs on movies. They included songs with goofy lyrics, “sung to the tune of …”
Sometimes humor is helpful, in laugh or cry situations.
The joke was directed at the corporation (Tepco), not the people. ‘No ill will toward the people, individually just the actions of the corporation. I do not know enough of them or their personal beliefs/behavior to harbor ill will toward the individuals who might work for Tepco.

Tokyo is still supposed to be evacuated. 250km is a nice way of saying, “whoops it’s actually 500km”. The radiation is being downplayed to the point where Tokyo residents will see a decline in their population if they do not leave. Wind’s travel and Fukushima is still spewing radiation. If you measure the size of Chernobyl and compare it with radiation maps of Japan it would have called for the evacuation of Tokyo. This disaster was at least 4 times as large and people are still sitting with their thumbs wedged tightly up their asses fussing over a 20km exclusion zone. That’s down right planned and calculated genocide. I won’t parse words just to satisfy some pitiful government need to control it’s people from panic. PANIC IS HERE AT YOUR DOORSTEP! 20 thousand unborn american’s dead. 29 confirmed dead in Japan. What more do they need when you have a pile of carcasses at your front door? What was the saying…”deadmen tell no lies”? Right…in this case dead stem-cell’s/infant mortality statistics bring truth. If I start digging in medical dumpsters on the west coast will I find hidden treasure the US government has hidden too? Stay tuned as I steal thousands of aborted babies from hidden landfills…I’m sure the evangellical blowhards will take my case then…ok lets be realistic they’re genocidal maniacs too…I guess I just have you guys… <3

Grampybone, my doctor discussed radiation effects with me recently. I’m in SF Bay Area. He said some patients at the office had been tested for heavy metals, and high Cesium levels showed up. Some M.D.’s are no longer disputing people are being affected by the radiation, here. They (the two M.D.’s I have who now agree people are being affected) did not acknowledge this a couple of months ago. (Posted this before but it seems relevant now.)
Yes, you are right about Tokyo and the extent of the contamination. Contamination levels (Cesium 137, as posted here in the past couple of months) are far above the levels near Chernobyl evacuation zone(s), in at least a couple of locations in or near Tokyo.
Report Comment
I am so proud of the doctors and medical persons who have made an effort to research and nail down the causes of infant mortality rates increasing. These individuals will be the key to preventing as much damage as possible. I pray that there are enough voices that make themselves heard so we can all reap the benefit. Disputing known facts about low dose radiation will only make chances of treating the new epidemic of diseases stemming from cell mutation worse. Spirits be with you HoTaters
Report Comment
Thank you. I’m hoping the very bright doctors working with me will spread the word about the Cesium they are finding in people’s bodies. The group works with a lot of people like me, who have chronic illnesses and immune suppression. We, in some ways, are like the babies, who are, “canaries in a coal mine.”
I haven’t asked the docs if they’re seeing many unusual things, but the last time I discussed it with the doctor providing the primary treatment, he gave me a bottle of detox tincture. He said it would help detoxify the body from radiation. The tincture was developed to detox people from chemtrail contamination — which has some form of barium in it. Barium sulfate, I think.
I’d gone into the office and complained, twice, about nausea, swollen lymph glands fatigue, weight loss, and mild nosebleeds. ‘Also told the doc about the radiation burns I get on my hands if they come into contact with rain water.
The fact the doctors are no longer trying to say “it must be something else” and trying to find another cause, tells me they are probably seeing a lot of this (rad symptoms). Oh, I’m really tired now, and just wrote one of the longest run-on sentences ever!
G’ight Grampybone. May you live long and prosper!

Good morning to you all, Are any of you familiar with the writings of Edgar Cayce ? As a young man I couldn’t understand why he said that the greater part of Japan MUST sink below the waves – as opposed to WILL sink. Sadly, it has become all too apparent. I suspect that the craven attitudes of the authorities will doom them all unless they fess up and start asking for international help with these reactors. We must stop muclear power asap or we will find one of these monsters on our own doorstep soon enough.

**EDGAR CAYCE PREDICTED JAPANESE EARTHQUAKE!
Posted on Sunday, March 13th, 2011
By Frank Lake
Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), the “sleeping prophet” predicted the Japanese earthquake!
Edgar Cayce made a number of remarkably accurate predictions in his lifetime – and it was revealed yesterday that he had predicted the earthquake in Japan, saying it would happen in 2010 or 2011.
In 1934, Cayce predicted the beginning and end of World War II many years before it happened. He predicted the end of Communism, and that Russia would be born again. He also saw a strong religious movement coming out of Russia.
And he predicted natural disasters – including Hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in Japan.
Cayce believed that the Second Coming of Christ would happen before 2020 -probably in 2011 or 2012. He gave a trance “reading” which described a number of quite unimaginable natural catastrophes that would occur at the beginning of the 21s century.
He predicted a shift in the world’s axis in 2011. The Japanese earthquake affected the earth’s axis on Friday, March 11. Cayce felt this would eventually lead to:
* Inundations of many coastal regions, caused by a drop in the landmass of about 30 feet combined with a melting of both polar ice caps, including:
* The loss of much of England and Japan.
* The flooding of northern Europe, which will happen very rapidly.
*New land appearing off the east coast of North America, the so-called “rising of Atlantis”.
* The widespread destruction in Los Angeles, San Francisco and the destruction of Manhattan and disappearance of New York.
* Volcanic eruptions in tropical regions and an increase in Pacific volcanic activity in the Pacific Rim.
* A general warming of currently cool areas, and cooling of warm areas of the globe.
The rest of the world will also undergo wrenching change:
* “The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea.”
His readings indicate that the lost…

I just located this very unusual citizen journalist video which compares Edgar Cayce‘s predictions from the early 20th century, with recent Japanese motion pictures which predicted in their scripts that Japan, the entire aggregate of Japan’s islands, would soon sink, literally sink beneath the sea. I am not trying to be a doomsday person. I am merely passing along something which I found to be gripping due to the movie’s eerie portrayal of just about the EXACT events which are occurring now in Japan. Art predicts life?
