To avoid the company shutting down, Bruce and Fox take Miranda to the fusion reactor designed by Dr Pavel, to convince her to invest in the project. This reactor was originally intended as a weapon, but Fox and Miranda intend to use it for generating clean free energy for the entire city. The reactor is hidden in a chamber underneath the river so that it could be flooded for containment in emergencies.

in Gotham City, the entire police force consisting of thousands of police storm the sewers to capture Bane. Bane, however, has rigged the entire sewer system with explosives, which he detonates at the beginning of a football match, causing the entire ground to cave in and collapse, and his people take the entire audience hostage. The explosives cause the sewers to cave in, leaving the entire police force of the city trapped inside. Bane then declares to the stadium crowd that he’s now in charge of the city, and having taken control of the nuclear reactor, which he has turned into a bomb, murders Dr Pavel in front of the shocked audience, after telling them that Dr Pavel was the only man who could disarm the nuclear device. Bane also declares that he has left one citizen in charge of the detonator who would trigger the bomb in case of any sort of civil rebellion.
Simultaneously, all the bridges leading up to the city are destroyed by Bane’s explosives, trapping the entire population of the city inside. Bane threatens the government forces that should anybody try to enter or leave the city, he will detonate the nuclear weapon, thus forcing the government forces to guard the city and stop anybody from leaving.

However, the weapon cannot be deactivated in any way, and Batman attaches it to the Bat and flies it over the bay, and the city, now liberated from Bane’s army, watches awestruck as the weapon detonates on the horizon, and the mushroom-cloud balloons over the bay. The city then is shown paying respects to the Batman, who apparently gave his life to save the city. A small funeral is also held at Wayne Manor for Bruce Wayne, by those who knew his true identity. Alfred is very upset and sobbing because he feels he let Bruce and the Wayne family down.
In the epilogue, Lucius Fox is shown completing work on the Bat, realizing that Batman may have escaped the detonation after all

Sounds like a plot for the London games to me. Hardly a coincidence that this coming friday after sunset happens to be 9/11 on a different calendar? Don't be surprised if something VERY bad happens. I hope not, but there is a lot of smoke about, so one suspects a fire. Gotta wonder where that stolen german nuke ended up that went missing a few months back.

The Plot Thickens…
One has to wonder which is farther out there – the plot of "Dark Knight Rises" or the "Official Story" of the Aurora shooter? Some of the inconsistencies and coincidences in the "Official Story" of the Aurora shooting have been noted by others – here are some that I have not seen addressed as yet:
1. Did the shooter "burst" like Superman through a closed emergency theater exit designed to prevent entry from the exterior, or was the door propped open somehow? Did he do that all by himself, as Anderson Cooper claims? One eyewitness account has someone in the front corner seat answering a cell phone and going to the emergency exit the gunman burst through shortly after. If this was a single gunman, did he don all his gear and weapons in those few moments?
2. Did he handle and reload FOUR weapons and three ammo types with amazing speed and accuracy, made all the more incredible with reports that one of the handguns AND the 100-round magazine on his assault rifle supposedly jammed?
3. Did he have the wherewithal to exotically booby-trap his apartment and leave a loop of loud music on from midnight to 1AM while he was quite busy elsewhere, thereby tempting other irate tenants to open his door and trigger it when he did not answer?
4. Why did the Aurora Police bus 100 witnesses from Theater #9 to Gateway High School to "interview them" at 2:30AM, adding immeasurably to the trauma of the witnesses and their loved ones? Why has…

The guy has studied mental disorders. Perhaps he's even observed real cases. He knows what to make it look like to try to clinch an insanity defense.
But an insanity defense requires that the person genuinely didn't know what he was doing at the time. And there's just too much long term planning in this case.

Good points. Did anybody notice how confident, calm, cool, and collected the college official appeared while speaking about and describing the suspect (a mass murderer!!) ?
BTW,IMO a schizophrenic acting irrationally can premeditate, plot, and plan under the influence of his delusional mind and still be insane and act crazy.
If the shooter was in full riot gear, nobody could identify him. It's strange how the police just happened to pick him up outside the theater.

I'm not doubting the guy is mentally ill. But there's a difference between being in a genuinely delusional state (as a schizophrenic might be) and simply being, for example, a sociopath who is fully aware off and in control of his actions, but feels an urge to kill and feels no remorse or empathy.
Both are sick, but only the person who is genuinely delusional typically gets ruled not guilty by reason of insanity.
With regard to the police picking him up by his car, 911 received hundreds of phone calls from people in the theatre. One news report that I heard said that some people reported that he had gone back out the emergency exit after his gun jammed, so the police knew which exit to go toward. Presumably he parked his car close to that exit, since his plan was to step out and get his armor and guns once the movie started.

a really naive statement.. it is only on the olympic routes that there is work being done on roads and infrastructure.. most temporary.. the roads of london havent recovered from the cold snap 2 years ago..
so it looks nice for the cameras.. the olympic torch is visiting mainly more affluent areas..
londoners who have tickets seem awkward about it.. especially if you mention PFizer!! (we have a larg indian community in london and most londoners are aware of what Pfizer did.. makes for an awkward moment! lol!

I just thought the image of the javeline guy preparing to lob a missile really captured something about these games (as did the McDonald's runner, unfortunately).
The Olympics was a cool idea when it started as genuinely amateur games in the early 20th century. Now it is such big business, and there's so much money involved, it really seems to have lost something somewhere along the way.

They ALWAYS say that. It doesn't matter if proven they DID something wrong, the NRC will never admit to worker error. And we pay for this? It's "Lip Service" and totally ignores the fact that NONE OF THESE PLANTS ARE SAFE, none of them will ever withstand an EQ or anything MAJOR going wrong. Shut the muthers down. So why exactly is the plot of a fictional movie a "news" headline about nuclear power?
There are lots of movies with nukes in them. What's so special about this one?
What I don't understand is why people will spend hours watching a fictional story about a nuclear bomb, but if you try to engage them in a discussion about real nukes–whether civilian or military–they immediately tune out and want to change to a different topic.
The real stuff is what matters. Not the comic book stuff.

The nuke plot in Dark Knight matters because Mainstream Media has blacked out the truth about the staggering scope of Fukushima and its historic importance. The Mainstream Media has glossed over the Infinite Harm that the use of nuclear power represents as an industry. We are all collectively living a real life cliffhanger yet in some surreal reality horror genre there are no reports and very few members of the general public are even cognizant. We can all be sure that there definitely is no Hero coming to save us. If our reality could be fictionalized then he weatherman would be reporting radiation readings in a regional format as an extension of Air Quality reports but in our reality from which there is no fade out, there is only silence. Dark Knight matters here on this thread because in the mainstream media vacuum, millions of young people are shown a fictional solution to nuclear power involving a nuclear explosion being placed in the water by the HERO and the fictional masses applauding the HERO's act. Setting off a nuke in the water is not a solution. It is a disaster. Switching back to the movies but forcing the narrative to apply to our current condition on the planet, BANE WON. THE PEOPLE ALL DIE OF CANCER 20 YEARS BEFORE THEY SHOULD while plants and animals become freakish and deformed. Yes, the fiction is fine as entertainment, I enjoyed it, but when in the context of censored real information eerily parallel to the fiction it becomes political.

But it's not going to make any difference. Try to talk to people who have sat through the movie about the real nuclear issues. They were willing to waste two hours of their lives gawking at the big screen, fully engaged in a comic book plot , but they won't spend five minutes listening to any of us try to make them understand about Fuku's fuel pools or the explosions of March 2011. So the movie isn't going to raise any awareness about anything. It's just a diversion. But there are so many diversions. That's the problem. People are so busy preoccupying themselves with their various forms of worthless entertainment that they refuse to wake up and look at the real world around them.
When someone makes a serious drama that authentically conveys the human toll of the nuclear age–whether its the bombs, Chernobyl, Fukushima, whichever … that will be news worth posting a headline about.

This is a headline because Batman is to America what Godzilla is to Japan. To spread the idea that disposing of nukes in water is an heroic solution on this scale is relevant to ENENEWS. I went to see Dark Knight as a comic book fiend from the 80's and enjoyed it. I did not read into the plot line of Bane before going because I wanted a surprise. Well, when I saw the mushroom cloud over the water I thought, I am going to post this up in enenews because its what is getting mainlined into the pulse of the masses. Use this image to explain the fallacy. " You remember when Batman dropped the nuke in the water? Well that's fine in comic books and movies but did you know in real life it has already happened in Fukushima, Japan and the nukes poisoned Japan, the Pacific ocean, the West Coast of North America and the entire northern Hemisphere." Its an entry point, a common ground culturally on the subject of nukes in water, its political and culturally relevant. Dont talk about changing the masses, talk to your neighbors. Local is everything!

Are you kidding? This exact scenario was predicted in a batman dark knight comic in 1986. Just like 9/11 was very blatantly predicted in heaps of movies before it happened. These things are well planned in advance and we are conditioned to believe the official bulldust the media spins to us about them. Watch Independence day, or Back to the Future, or the Diehard series, then tell me the didn't know about 9/11 in advance. You can also find predictive programming about olympics and 7, 27/28 in these same movies. Still wanna go to london?

Not only is this the first major publication to feature this sort of unsettling cover, the article highlights concerns of the medical profession in the Pacific North West, and demonstrates the game of dodgeball authorities are playing with this issue. This article and its cover will change the eating habits of many Vancouverites, and may spearhead public outrage in general. Not sure Batman will do any more.

Has anyone given any consideration to the timing of the Denver shooting and the arrival of the Olympic Flame with hours of each other? Both by person with surname Holmes? The reason I am concerned and caught this coincidence only this past Sunday night is that I have previously made a prediction that the London Olympics could be bombed. So what you might say?
