Follow-up to: New official map of giant sinkhole dimensions shows significant growth (PHOTO)
Depending on a computer’s display settings, the 635 foot measurement written in dark letters on a dark background may not be visible at all. Two out of three displays tested do not show the 635, and the one that does shows it faintly.

The whole area is sinking below ground water level. Isnt there satellite photos that can show exactly the level of the surrounding ground ?
Report Comment
Probably due to gases leaving the ground is sinking because of the space the gases have been occupying.

Satellite photos..hum. Just remembering about Japan's accident..and the sudden LACK of satellite photos of the area…guess the same for Louisianna? "Just move along, nothing to see here…smile and be happy"…the same things as in Japan….crowd and media control of the masses…

BP Gulf disaster -Food chain damage likely on the way
Kristiansen said that the worst of the damage from the oil remains buried in such sub-sand deposits would likely be subsurface ecosystems.
“The damage that we don’t see could be far worse,” he said. “The subsurface ecosystem damage can damage the genetic make up of and productivity of these ecosystems.”
He said that the chemicals released by the initial spill accumulate upward in the food chain, and “reach levels above the threshold of what causes genetic damage in marine species, and may further cause cancer in seafood consuming humans.”
“If anyone is still accepting BPs assertions that this is not an environmental disaster any longer, this is an eye opener,” he added.
