Asahi Shimbun, Jan 24, 2015 (emphasis added): Obesity a growing problem among children in Fukushima… An education ministry survey released Jan. 23… found that 15.07 percent of 9-year-olds in Fukushima Prefecture were 20 percent or more heavier than normal. The figure was much higher than the national average of 8.14 percent, and the highest among all 47 prefectures. [It] was also the highest among all prefectures for 7-year-olds, 11-year-olds and 13-year-olds… According to the ministry, obese children are most commonly found in the Tohoku region… the trend has been especially acute in Fukushima Prefecture since the 2011 onset of the nuclear crisis…. The ministry said this appeared to be because children in Fukushima Prefecture are restricted from playing outdoors due to radiation fears…

National Research Center for Radiation Medicine (Ukraine), 2013: Rise of obesity incidence in ChNPP accident survivors is related to abnormal secretion of α-melanotropin [α-MSH]

  • Accident at the Chernobyl NPP… was followed by the intensive release of a wide range of radioactive elements with affinity to many endocrine tissues. The mentioned radioactive fallout resulted in both internal and external radiation exposure, among others, of the central endocrine structures of the human brain.
  • Higher incidence of borderline obesity – 37%… and of primary obesity – 32.5%… was found in the ChNPP accident survivors vs persons in the control group (31.1 and 24.6% respectively)… For the first time there was revealed a new abnormal way of a reaction on radiation namely – the ‘blunted’ protective response of the physiological increase of α-MSH secretion along with body mass index elevation normally preventing further growth of adipose tissue. There is no increase of α-MSH secretion or even there is a hormone deficiency in most [obese] survivors of the ChNPP accident
  • Received data indicate to the increased risk of borderline obesity and obesity after the prolonged exposure to radiation in moderate doses. The mentioned risk is stipulated by disorders in melanocortin system resulting in α-MSH deficiency at the background of obesity that can be considered as a marker of such an abnormality.

Poster presentation for ‘Rise of obesity incidence in ChNPP accident survivors is related to abnormal secretion of α-melanotropin’ (pdf), 2013:

  • The Chernobyl NPP accident in 1986 and Fukushima NPP accident in 2011 are still the most serious wide scale man made disasters in human history… Massive radioactive release and fallout followed both accidents. Wide range of radioactive isotopes were released some having high affinity to hormone-producing tissues including ones in the cerebral endocrine structures… Today the Chernobyl NPP accident is not over but has evolved into the long-term fourth phase
  • Subjects: The Chernobyl NPP accident survivors (emergency workers… and evacuees…)
  • Decrease of α-MSH… can be considered as a marker of radiation brain damage. Thus α-MSH can be considered as a sensitive marker of radiation impact which deficiency of synthesis leads to disorder of pathways preventing further body mass increase…

α-MSH: Most important of the melanocyte-stimulating hormones in stimulating melanogenesis, a process that… plays a role in feeding behavior… regulation of appetite, metabolism…

This goes beyond just aggregating. It is finding a problem and then proving that it is not just "kids can't go play outside" but instead a scientifically proven reaction to radiation.

    +100000000000

This is real news. On top of the radiation diseases, now Japan will also be faced with obesity, diabetes, and once a person has diabetes, every other disease out there will take a pot shot at the person and some will stick.

It is disinformation. I detest this article. It is insulting and ignorant.

Yes, GOM, I also don't understand why you would find scientific discussion of damage to brain tissue in relation to how the body handles and produces adipose tissue to be offensive.

It makes sense to me that parents would keep their children indoors anywhere around Fukushima… but it also makes me wonder about what has been happening in the USA. Haven't we all been told that it was junk food and McDonald's that made people obese? Maybe there is some relation to radiation or low level radiation and/or poor people and environmental polution/contamination going on for decades right here in the USA?!

            • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Certainly is not helping.. but there are many factors as our culture and diet has changed along with additives such as growth hormones found in the milk which is mandatory to be consumed by our children in public schools. Lack of exercise is not helping as schools have cut back on that one too. Junk foods and GMO etc.

Radiation would be the topping on the cake as immune systems continue to weaken and the bodies energy lessens for all those negatively affected.

We surely have changed a great deal in the last 70 years..GMI.. is growing now in leaps and bounds no doubt. 🙁

Fact: There are no recent large scale scientic studies of brain risk associated with ionizing radiation.
Fact: Intercranial brain tumors/lesions [meningioma] are RARE in children. Pediactric cases are 2.5%.
Fact: 74% are women. Female to male ratio 3:1.
Fact: These factors remain largely unexplored. A large scale examination on a population is needed.
Fact: Obesity related Hyperthyroidism. Obesity due to inactivity in relation to pain/burning of muscles [see my post below] This was known in 1951.
Fact: The article is poorly written and misleading. And I do not believe everything that is written on the Internet..

      • Time Is Short Time Is Short

I don't know if it's ignorant or not. Dr. Helen Caldicott has been talking about the impact of radiation fallout on children for decades. This information is just another chapter in a very sad book.

Radiation kills the children first. We, the adults, are going to watch them die by the thousands, just like the animals in the Pacific Ocean and across North America are dying by the thousands now. Soon to be the tens, and hundreds of thousands.

This is not a TV channel we can just switch off.

Enenews is a site where we are following the worst man-made disaster in all of history. It is the end of all life on this planet, one exploding NPP at a time. As we go further down the ELE path, the news will only continue to get worse. If anyone doesn't want to follow this inevitability in real-time, I suggest they leave before this turns into violent nightmares.

Hmmmmmmm………….quite a strange and very strong statement given that this article is research based and given that Russia has really done an excellent job in trying to identify the impact of radiation on those subjected to it. If Japan is now acknowledging that they are seeing the same phenomenon I will respect them for their willingness to be more straightforward about this disaster. This, in stark contrast to the US gov. Who denies anything and everything despite widespread evidence.

I had a discussion with my wife neuro-oncologist recently and he says that we need a few more months of data to get an understanding of how much affect to expect. He went to Europe to help perform brain surgeries after Chernobyl had been polluting a while.

My wife's glioblastoma type has 5 known triggers. Four of them are virus related and she tested negative. That leaves ionizing radiation between the range of fall 2010 and summer fall 2011. She worked in a lab that controlled exposures to ensure healthy specimens for her team's testing. So radiation in the lab is ruled minimal risk. However, she spent a lot of time in farm fields studying how the bugs life cycles were affected by her company's products during the spring and summer of 2011 when the radiation clouds went by. My test material did glow dim blue during one rain storm in that time although my container in the house stayed dark.

Her subcategory of glioblastoma spreads by concentrating potassium down the neuro pathways to push cancer through. This type of cancer must be going wild in Japan right now. It is great that they found this marker. But, I would really be interested in knowing shifts in the blood potassium released during necrotizing phase.

      • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

I would interested in the research virus link stating exactly what these other viral triggers are if you have it.

Yes. SnorkY2k. TY. First, I have to say, I am sorry to hear that your wife is ill from Cancer. My wife died from Cancer at 45, two weeks after she began showing symptoms, and was diagnosed. It was heartbreaking. I lost my chance to finish my side of our arguments, or catch her cheating at cards. So many of my loved ones have died of Cancer.
Christmas 2013 my Daughter's Thyroid was removed. She had both Papillary and Follicular Cancer. She was in Houston, Tx at the time the radiocactive plume from Fukushima initially arrived in the United States. She was in the University there at that time. She was working on a doctorate, and took every opportunity to get outside. She was a distance runner, triathalete, trainer, and yoga instructor, backpacker, climber, and world traveler. She still teaches yoga, works at NASA, and takes care of her daughter and husband. She and I were very lucky.
This is the first post I read today, and felt compelled to let you know that I have been through some of what you have, so that you will feel at home discussing Radiation, and Cancer here with us.
I am just responding off the top of my head, so surely my response is lacking. More and more cases of Cancer will be showing up this year. The more we can learn of it, the more we can learn how it is treated, the more we can learn how to combat radiation caused Cancer, the better off we all will be. Peace

Hello Snork, you might want to explore the use of medical cannabis extracts (CBD, which is very low in TCH) and other types in the treatment of glioblastomas.

I did some research on this a couple of years ago when a friend was diagnosed with a glioblastoma. If I remember correctly, there is a doctor at UCSF who uses cannabis as an adjunctive treatment. There is also (I think) a Stanford Med. study on this.

Some forms of cannabinoids are being found to shrink various types of tumors..

As it's my understanding the glioblastomas are hard to treat, you may want to explore this avenue.

I've had REMARKABLE results using CBD (low THC cannabis oil extract) to treat Squamous Cell Carcinoma. My cancer was \virtually gone in the two weeks between the time of my biopsy, and when the Moh's surgery was done.

I'd be very, very happy if this information was useful to you.

My 2nd cousin, quite young, was just DX'd with a glioma in her right temporal lobe. It has begun to grow rapidly. Would you please write to me off-list and share the name of your neuro-oncologist? If he treats any glioma patients, I'd love to help her see him for a consultation. She doesn't know what to do yet, and is losing a lot of her cognitive and physical function quite rapidly.

I can send links to the study or studies done, and get the name of the UCSF doc who is using the cannabis in treatment of aggressive brain tumors.

Hi Snork, HoTaters is correct in mentioning the powers of CBD's for treatment of cancers and other ailments. RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) is a concentrate made with CBD's and can be researched on YouTube (easy to make yourself, but expensive unless you grow your own Cannabis of the proper strains). If you live in Colorado or Washington State, stock up….and then immediately move Southeast out of the direct path of radioactivity. Also look into ESSIAC. It cured my father's bladder cancer within weeks with zero negative side effects and minimal cost (works on most cancers). It can be ordered on the web and is legal in all 50 States (at the moment).

Have you thought of Magnet Therapy? Ancient healing. For tumors the "negative" side of a strong magnet is used against the tumor. It can be slept on or attached to head. The power will go through cloth material. The magnetic force shrinks the tumor without bad side effects. Industrial magnets are often very reasonable. We like the round ones. We have been healed of various painful conditions over the years but never tumors. However, I have read about peoples' tumors being healed.

We like the Paleo diet, which is sort of a Paleo-Weston Price hybrid diet. We've lowered the meat consumption part of the diet.

We're eating a lot of fermented foods, sprouted grains (soaked overnight, mildly fermented), seed (also soaked when possible), and nuts, soaked and then roasted. (Removes a lot of the phytates in the nuts.)

Fermented milk products and/or water kefirs (milk, water kefirs) plus fermented foods are a good way to keep healthy gut flora going, and boost the immune system. One can skip the milk kefir if going dairy free.

Fukushima pretty much killed my ability to follow my normal diet. Now I do modified Weston Price/Paleo because the milk and meat are likely contaminated.

At the bottom of the 2025 page they give some information regarding the sources they used to arive at their prediction.
They also predict a significant reduction in UK population.

Please note their discussion re. Economic upheaval…….we all know that is coming. Seems that when things collapse re. The $$$$$$$$$. Many will die, as has happened in other nations. That being said, I believe FUKU will also play a large roll.

I suppose I am more optimistic. We are 70 years in, 70 to go will be a possibility. ??? maybe ??? We will become sicker, no doubt.

Anything from fallout areas is problematic, so the USA is FUKUed

USA exports millions of tons of pesticides, banned in the USA, to countries who we import food from. It helps their production.

Many would love to ban fossil fuel, that would cut imported food
Check your produce and meat, and the EPA pondering to eliminate country of origin labeling.

Is it all good or bad or is it just sad?

We are in trouble. The circle is small, if you look closely.

          • Time Is Short Time Is Short

A lot of pesticides and chemicals are used in the US that are banned around the world.

I am an hour west of chicago and writing a book with a plant physiologist on low cost growing of food indoors. I have been growing food in house with less than 40 watts of power for 4.5 years now. I will have 3 new hydroponics system on line in a week. just starting a new onion from seed that I will plant one seed every two weeks. This breed is know for 10 – 15 pound onions. 3 months will be 6 5 gallon buckets in process for 180 days. so I need to find room for 12 buckets because these onion are huge. Also, our indoor output in peppers and tomatoes is about 10 times the density of outdoor gardening. Flavor is much fuller than ground grown because I don't pick until very ripe and the moment that I am ready to cook. I am not even going to bother with ground growing this summer and am going to set up hydroponic systems outdoors. I have the capacity for 17 systems right now and it helps put food on the table as well.

hi mm,I don't hate the rich, only those who got there by poisoning for profit and/or stepping on the necks of the middle-class & poor to squeeze their finances & lifeblood out of them for their own personal gain. With that said, the panicky,super-rich have cause to worry more about the people they THINK they will roll through & over to get back to the safety of the rocks they crawled out from under because they, the "elite" might as well be wearing day-glo orange bullseyes on their back if they haven't yet gone underground with their horded goods & precious metals when TSHTF! Poor, but "smart" men who TPTB have & will have left their asses hanging in the deadly radioactive breeze have also been watching & taking notes on the post-311 movements & acquisitions of the worst of the offending scum's lot. Overconfident people possessing high-end,tricked-out firearms holding high-capacity mags full of the best,zombie-killer rounds often get taken out by adversaries armed with little,pea-shooters with the bluing or finish plating worn & peeling off with taped on grips & 4 different brands/types of bullets that have different ballistic performances & points of impact every chaotic day that civilization still stands. The "soft",but cold-blooded elite will learn this fact the hard way or won't be around "The day after" TSHTF and that's a cold, hard fact the enemies of all that is(or "was")good will find out when the time comes to lock & load…(IMHO) 😉 …

@SnorkY2K;I'm about 1 minute west of Chicago or 5 minutes west of Midway to be more accurate, which puts me in the middle of the "plume-zone[s]" of a few more of IL's 11 POS NPP's according to the NRC/EPA's ATM's for NE IL than you probably are but that means little in the wake of a nuclear catastrophe of the magnitude represented by the 311/Fukushima ELE that didn't spare the Great Lakes region & Upper Midwest much less of the nasty Shitium that fell[falls]on the Pacific coast & Cascade & Rocky Mountains that seems to get more focus, attention & folks concerned about radiation contamination & methods of producing clean foods in contaminated zones. Anyways,I'm glad to see the issue come up here & the links & advice set out here even though I'm pretty well versed in growing vegetables, fruit & my favorite herbs indoors or shielded from the outdoor elements to an adequate degree. Besides hydroponic growing mediums, there's still sources of pre-311 potting soil available through grow shops for those willing to "dig" under recently demolished & excavated building sites, preferably pre-Cold War era structures,1 can still procure large amounts of relatively "clean" soil likely to be easily improved via proper adjustment of the PH & nutrient content.Me & a pal devised a covert system that allows collecting natural sunlight & combining it with artificial, improved & evolving artificial lighting & efficiently filtered/regulated airflow(pat.pending)that shows great…

Yes, we have a friend, Gabe, who consults with people and helps them to build food forests.

The issues with that are: the crops should likely be covered, and have filtered air and water as inputs. I'm not quite there yet.

Have a greenhouse and grow everything under cover, but still am using tap water, and the air isn't filtered. So whatever's in the water is getting into the soil.

You can fab up some filters, I have ended up with closed-cell foam in 4 corners, airflow is low, only with the roof vents open. 4sf each, 4 inches thick.

As was said, hydro is best, but you can do container or bags and DIY potting soil. YT Brainard, Minn.

            bf9 and Plowboy,

I think you may find that the following relates to the current topic you are discussing:
            today's news:
"Richard Collins, a principal investigator from the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, explains the purpose of the launches: "Recent solar storms have resulted in major changes to the composition of the upper atmosphere above 49 miles (80 kilometers), where enhancements in nitrogen compounds have been found. These compounds can be transported into the middle atmosphere where they can contribute to ozone destruction."

But do these ozone-destroying compounds actually make it down to the ozone layer? "Meteorological conditions do not always allow such transport to occur," he says. Instruments on the rockets were designed to investigate those conditions–specifically, how turbulence and diffusion might cause compounds to mix downward in the atmosphere.

Two of the rockets released trails of trimethyl aluminum (TMA) vapor, creating whitish clouds that were photographed from several ground stations"

            http://www.spaceweather.com

            geoengineering? more aluminium to deflect?

            • Angela_R

              following on from the
"These compounds can be transported into the middle atmosphere where they can contribute to ozone destruction."

most of our atmosphere is made up of nitrogen, in fact approx. 78%
I wonder if the nitrogen compounds are now radioactive

What is WRONG with these people that they do not revisit the outlandishly elevated DIABETES rates for those kids? I believe it was at 46% just a little more than a year in. For kids under the age of twelve! At that rate, the whole childhood population is diabetic by now.

Untreated diabetes is a killer. Deliberately untreated diabetes is a deliberate killer.

I checked when this was first reported and I believe that yytritium-90 was the radionuclide marked as destroying the pancreas. Someone can re-check or expand on that.

    • We Not They Finally

Wonder what the censors at Fukushima Medical University mark as a diagnosis: Sugar readings elevated, but if the child is just less frightened and goes out to play, it will go away?

    • HoTaters HoTaters

Hello WNTF, wow, you have a prodigious memory. Just looked that up, and Yitrium 90 has been proposed as a treatment for aggressive pancreatic cancer, and liver cancer that has metastasized.

You'll find this info. if you do a browser search with these terms,
"Yitrium 90 pancreas." The info. on pancreatic cancer will just pop up in a Google search.

      Causation? Not sure.

      • We Not They Finally

Thanks for that info, though medicine can work so backwards, difficult to understand. So if YYtritium-90 makes pancreatic cells goes cancerous, then MORE of it will kill those cancer cells off, then you hope that the normal cells are strong enough to resist?

That sounds all wrong. Yet with thyroid cancer, a standard treatment is to flood the body with radioactive iodine! You know, the stuff that caused the cancer in the first place. They hope that the cancer cells will be killed off and the normal cells survive the onslaught and not be turned cancerous themselves.

Too often the human body is used as a battle ground — you don't actually heal it — you just murder the bad guys and hope that the good guys can tough it out.

Sounds like life on Earth. The wars never end.

I feel you Johnny, many friends and family members have come down with cancers and death all this after 2011. I will mention one in particular, a young woman I know with terminal cancer. I can't talk to her about Fukushima radiation now, I tried in 2011 to tell everyone I know. She has a main diet of sushi and snacks on dried seaweed. Obviously trying to live healthy. What a sadly ironic situation. Her comment about the sushi in 2011 was "it kind of had a different taste". So sad, most people don't take it seriously as it is not reported on the 5 o'clock news. All of us here know it is going to get a lot worse for everyone, even the fuckers that promote nuclear energy. I only wish they were the ONLY ones to suffer!

Johnny, I don't know what to say except I'm sorry, so very sorry for your suffering. You are a friend and you won't bother me at all if you rant here.

It's disgusting that the real effects of the insanity of the civilian and military nuclear program have been hidden from the general public. It's disgusting that there has been so much suffering and the public has just been dumbed down into thinking the suffering isn't even happening.

Most of us will never know what you're having to go through, although I dare say there are a lot of cancer patients who post here regularly.

There's no way my health issues can compare to what you're dealing with, but I did develop Squamous Cell Carcinoma on my face w/i 9 mos. or so after 3/11. Lots of skin issues, wasting problems, complex cysts on my thyroid and kidneys.

Thankfully a talented integrative medicine doctor got my immune status more or less back to normal. If that hadn't happened, I wonder if the cancer would have metastasized by now.

It still might come back, and they're watching me pretty closely now.

You're in our thoughts and prayers, again, I don't know what to say, except what you're telling us isn't offensive to me at all.

JB – We understand your participation on this site with like minded souls. I am personally sorry for what cancer has been in your life as IT affects mine also. What I do have to offer is of little consolation: When you are feeling all Fuked-Up these days as many of us are, try to remember that life has always shown great resiliency. Individuals may come and go somewhat haphazardly but life continues. This has always been the case. So you say ”What’s in it for me?” Not Much – I would have to answer but it means everything for life itself. I am looking for small yet positive answers for this whole mess that we cannot talk about. I do think discussing the problem, at this point in time, would be good and not just here at enenews.com (sorry people). Yet I am concerned the MSM would mangle all coverage so to speak. Yes they are doing that now, what little they are doing that is. The official silence from the US government is astounding, the silence in Japan is official.

Let me set the record straight here. But first, a bit of time travel to 1951.
Nevada Test Site -27 January 1951
American Ground Zero–128 atmospheric detonations of nuclear bombs.. Here is one of the few places on Earth that experienced true catastrophe. The radioactive fallout is comparable to Chernobyl time and time again. The people living downwind were described as "a low-use segment of the population".
Living in St. George, Utah, 10 years ago.
Radiologic illness prevails. Cancers are epidemic. The people live in a 'don't ask-don't tell' world. Silenced by the Feds. The ones that will speak say many of the sick do not go outside. Many are OBESE do to Hyperthyroidism caused by ongoing exposure to radioactivity. This causes a slowdown in metabolism. Also, this causes burning/pain in muscles limiting exercise. There is also a clinical depression that can develop.

    A lesson in media bullshit…

Study claims pregnant women can eat fish without harming their baby!

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 24 (UPI) — A new study finds women can safely eat fish while pregnant without much concern for mercury hurting their child.

The researchers looked at 1,500 mothers over the course of three decades and found those with high levels of fish consumption, about 12 meals per week with fish, didn't have children with any developmental problems.

"These findings show no overall association between prenatal exposure to mercury through fish consumption and neurodevelopmental outcomes," said Edwin van Wijngaarden, Ph.D., and associate professor in the University of Rochester Department of Public Health Sciences and a co-author of the study. "It is also becoming increasingly clear that the benefits of fish consumption may outweigh, or even mask, any potentially adverse effects of mercury."

Demystifying the Official Discourse on Childhood Thyroid Cancer in Fukushima

It's too long to extract here and I don't intend to cut-and-paste bomb this thread. Here's one piece –

"Denialists like Suzuki and Yamashita have not only been promoting false arguments, they have also been taking aggressive political action through involvement in ‘secret meetings’, in failing to disclose knowledge about Chernobyl, and in failing to disclose data on symptomatic cases in Fukushima that may undermine the ‘screening effect’ hypothesis. Unfortunately, this kind of political behavior is also present in authoritative international bodies such as the ICRP (taking bribes), the IAEA (an openly pro-nuclear organization), the WHO (delaying an ultimately inadequate investigation of depleted uranium in Iraq; subservience to the IAEA), and UNSCEAR (staffed largely by representatives from pro-nuclear states who are not required to declare qualifications or possible conflicts of interest). Their unfailingly optimistic pronouncements are open to criticism in light of other independent research."

Protecting Enenews? or allowing it to continue?
Perhaps a need to keep the finger on the pulse of public ideas and reactions.

However, if deemed necessary, as I understood from the Snowden leaks, it is easy to confine the readership. At times Governments block the internet to their citizens. Employers can prevent their employees accessing certain sites; so easy for Government to do the same.

I suspect that it is even possible to block a comment and for only the party who has written it, to see and read it.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank, in the hands of men like Montagu Norman of the Bank of England, Benjamin Strong of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Charles Rist of the Bank of France, and Hjalmar Schacht of the Reichsbank, sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

I've been listening to some vids about Carl Munck and the pyramid code that he had worked out concerning the geographical and geometrical lay-out of the ancient monuments placed around the world. One of the more interesting claims he makes is that these structures formed a grid system that tapped into energy fields that helped stabilize the Earth's crust and therefor enabled us to survive the last pole shift without catastrophic loss of life.
Supposedly someone has, in the past when you could do such things, climbed to the top of the Great Pyramid, opened a bottle of spirits, placed it on top of their head and have it emit a shower of sparks!
Anyway, I recount this to use it as an example that we are still in an infancy as to regards knowledge about the real 'Earth Sciences' and that those before us put us to shame when it comes to understanding them.

                • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Sadie, my humble thoughts; while cymatics is an intriguing example of complex forms produced by material subject to sound, it does not necessarily follow that all forms are created by sound. Icke makes this mistake of extrapolation.

The strength and damping of so many systems means that resonant effects from an audio source are not major factors to formation. For example its not so easy to shape shift most things,…humans, plants, objects…even resonant objects, by subjecting them to sounds.

While cymatics may resemble say a mountain peak or living organism, the actual forces of, say, tectonic collision, erosion, electrostatic molecular forces and the DNA information that models proteins is not the same.

As to mass and energy and spirit…E=mc^2 points to the relation and equivalence. Einstein believed that time was really an illusion, relative only to the perspective of the observer.

Everyone knows its a space-time continuum, yet they continue to think time is the fixed bed or field upon which all things play out. Thus they make mistakes like pondering if spirit comes BEFORE matter, or where you go AFTER you leave the material world. Einstein (and his wife) really wiped out religion as we know it, but nobody can let go of their small anthropocentric notions.

                  • SadieDog

Code, sup? Tectonic collisions cause what? Huge vibrations. There are sounds in space; also above, on and under the earth. It's a theory that I happen to lean towards. I agree about tihe time issue. Also, pondering the spirit a mistake? Then I have wasted a lot of damn time.

                    • SadieDog

Imagine this cornstarch with DNA …

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Sadie, there might be the fundamental idea of vibration in string theory, but it doesnt hold for the formative forces as we see/know them. For example, a magnet produces forms out of random iron filings. Yet all forms of iron are not made by magnetism. You will look long and hard to find resonant acoustics behind biological forms. Acoustic and electromagnetic field forces have INFLUENCE but are not the primary formative forces in the structure of living things. Tectonic vibrations do not cause/sustain mountains, unlike the little spring constants of sand grains on a cymatics plate.

Its not that pondering spirit is a mistake, its the assumption that time is the fixed field upon which spirit and matter operate. How do you know time doesnt START when consciousnes "enters" the material realm? "life after death" assumes time is fixed…which it isnt

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

sadie, the spring constant of the material, modified by damping/viscous forces,…the acoustic efficiency which is something like impedance matching…determines the effect of cymatics. These shapes are made and SUSTAINED by the dynamics of acoustic energy against the dissipative forces. Turn the acoustics off and the form decays. This is not the same for DNA and proteins where electrostatic forces of molecular bonds…its practically a very mechanical lock and key kind of thing. You dont hear objects like one hears cymatic figures…even though they both exist in the same size frame as audio frequencies…because the audio source just isnt there. Maybe going to string theory the idea can be revived. I know the phi ratio and golden mean and all that is ubiquitous in nature. I spent so many years with a Rife machine and looking into it…

                    • SadieDog

Actually mountains are caused by tectonic plate movement. And I'm with you that time is a human measurement, that's all.
" How do you know time doesnt START when consciousnes "enters" the material realm? "life after death" assumes time is fixed…which it isnt."
I don't know. Much like everything humans think they know are just theories. I'm still thinking though. 😉

                    • SadieDog

And you're right, turn off the sound and the cornstarch, sand stops. But we are a lot more complex than sand and cornstarch. Vibrations make mountains and makes mountains crumble. Vibration makes diamonds and shatters glass. Its not the only factor of course but, no vibration/sound, no nothing.

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Sadie, mountains arent SUSTAINED, nor even built by tectonic VIBRATION. Continued acoustic energy input is the key to cymatics. Schumann resonance hasnt enough power to do much about creating mountains. Vibration, divine geometry, Platonic solids and geometry…all good avenues of research. Extrapolating on cymatics is as bad as saying since electric fans make wind, all wind is made by electric fans.

                    • SadieDog

                      Code, what makes mountains?

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Sadie, time is more than human measurement. The argument is FUNDAMENTAL to philosophy. We all know that an astronaut speeding at super high speeds would come back to find his relatives all dead because of time dilation. What if an astronaut dies while going super fast while his twin dies on earth, could they meet in the after life?

The question is more apropos this way; If once you lose all constraint of matter, then you can go the speed of light and time stands still, or rather you could visit all of the universe and its future in an instant. Thats the fundamental question of philosophy/religion; does consciousness exist without matter (after death) and what would it be like. Pretty zippy…something more like "all one" rather than "after and before, here and there"

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Sadie, a mountain of BS requires nothing more than a bulls sphincter and a gravitational pull. No vibratory action needed (spring constant x coupling efficiency/damping ratio, mass o menos).

                    • SadieDog

          • HoTaters HoTaters

And I'd have to agree with West Aussie, it's focused energy.

          • Angela_R

            Ho,
my answer was based on a differentiation between a material form and non-material, i.e. not a substance, nor a particle. (You may have missed some of my earlier posts).

            For instance from http://physics.about.com/od/glossary/g/Matter.htm

"Definition: Matter has many definitions, but the most common is that it is any substance which has mass and occupies space. All physical objects are composed of matter, in the form of atoms, which are in turn composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons.

Photons have no mass, so they are an example of something in physics is not comprised of matter. They are also not considered "objects" in the traditional sense, as they cannot exist in a stationary state."

I do not see energy as possessing – mass/matter.

thus my answer to Weeman at 12.49am

            • SadieDog

I think we are all pretty close. Matter is energy, energy is not matter. 😉

              • SadieDog

Angela, I think I was agreeing with you. 🙂
I think we are only atoms apart.
"Quantum physics says that as you go deeper and deeper into the workings of the atom, you see that there is nothing there – just energy waves. It says an atom is actually an invisible force field, a kind of miniature tornado, which emits waves of electrical energy."

from the article you linked to:
"Socrates said that energy, or soul, is separate from matter, and that the universe is made of energy – pure energy which was there before man and other material things like the earth came along."

but they headed it: The new Science:
We are made of Energy, not Matter"

not as Socrates said: Ënergy, or soul, is separate from matter. Yes, the Universe is made of energy,
it pre-existed material form. Material form came later.

                    • SadieDog

Agreed. Maybe it's all vibrations like Taters said. The energy(or whatever) in a diamond vibrates at one end of the spectrum and thoughts at another speed, slower to faster. Now the soul; that's a whole nother ball of wax.

John Wilmott, Earl of Rochester, died in the seventeenth century, at the approx. age of 33. He is reputed to have lived in debauchery, and died of Syphilis.

He wrote thereafter, what I would term some very pornographic material, but I feel so sorry for an earnest young man, pulled by the debauchery of the Court of Charles 11.

Angela, thanks for the poems. I always like to read them a few times to fully digest. And, one more thing about ashes not having any energy. Maybe rethink that, they contain vital nutrients plants need and are a great part of fertilizers. So…

                    • Angela_R

When you read the young Wilmott's "Üpon Nothing"
maybe you might sense his sarcasm.

The English language appears, perhaps inadvertently, to have attempted to have lead us to believe that the physical world came from zilch; i.e that there was only the physical, material Universe.

"Maybe rethink that, they contain vital nutrients plants need and are a great part of fertilizers. So…"

they have the food for the material, but where is the life force?

                    • Angela_R

Or a more explicit expression would be:
                      matter is secondary

                      the material 'mother' may object

                    • SadieDog

"they have the food for the material, but where is the life force?"
The plant is the ahes in a different form, at a different vibration. The plant is just its food in a more complex form.

                    • Angela_R

"he plant is the ahes in a different form"
but where is the life force?

The life force is not in the ashes

                    • SadieDog

The ashes combined with the sun, some vibration/sound and the plants DNA, and presto! Ok, a little magic too.

                    • Angela_R

                      "Ok, a little magic too."

now you're getting closer to the something else 🙂
                      …..

                      I actually agree with Socrates:

"Socrates said that energy, or soul, is separate from matter, and that the universe is made of energy – pure energy which was there before man and other material things like the earth came along."

Matter as being a physical substance.

Immediately someone dies, we are aware that their body with all its physical being is still there, but their life force/their energy has gone.
                      Somewhere…

and I must away, back to bed

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Angela…who might be lost in confusion? If the material universe is made of energy, then it does not follow that energy is separate from matter. Rather they are interchangeable, or, if you like, matter is an energy force field.

Its the separatists conundrum. "my dead friend must have gone somewhere" is an idea begot from your anthropocentric time space perspective. Einstein said the reason for time is so everything doesnt happen at once.

I mean, we just cant shake our ingrained beliefs! But at least we can be aware that the questions what is north of the north pole and what was before time/space/energy/matter are nonsense questions. Yet we can and do keep asking. What if you dug past the center of the earth…maybe you could find your dead friends there.

Well, weeman, it can be said that all matter is focused energy and it's fingerprint is in the sacred geometry that is revealed to underlay all manifestations in the Universe if you know how to look.
I try to keep an open mind on these things as the way things stand at the moment all would appear to be lost! I can't keep thinking that. I believe that if we fucked it we should be able to un-fuck it no matter how bad the stink is. So I keep looking for possible avenues for investigation into longitudinal wave technology (even if it's only to try and imagine such a technology) as well as acknowledging the harsh reality that we presently face. I have to admit, when I first came across these people, I thought, "oh, it's only a matter of time before these techs are scaled-up and used to sort out these problems while all the other still operating reactors are shut-down. But it hasn't happened. These people seem to get nowhere and the very people who could use this sort of tech just deny it is workable (crank science and crank scientists!).
Very depressing. But at least there seems to be some serious math being performed at this level.
I guess the quantum sector has 'entanglement' as there explanation for action at a distance but I think that is a different type of math and even more difficult to understand. Maybe someone on here can enlighten us a little.

Hi, Angela_R! Maybe Ness can re-post some links for me to look at? What I found exciting about this paper is that it actually seems to tackling head-on the real internal inconsistencies of EM theory that have been modified to exclude the existence of the ether, assumes the vacuum of space to be empty and the speed of light to be a universal constant. But not in the ether. There is no speed of light in the ether. There is just complete knowledge. Think about that one, weeman!

          I haven't studied it but know that the ether is not empty, neither is there a vacuum of zilch; however it does not contain matter. They purported to have discovered a particle which they referred to as the Higgs Bosom;

"These two characteristics are still valid today and entirely justify the interest in antimatter. The first, is that the release of usable energy per unit mass is greater in annihilation than in any other nuclear reaction. One proton-antiproton annihilation releases 300 times more energy than a fission or fusion reaction. The second, is that when antimatter is brought in the proximity of matter, annihilation starts by itself, without the need of a critical mass as in fission, and without the ignition energy needed in fusion."… "Thanks to the results of CERN, we were able to publish in August 1985, an estimation of the number of antiprotons needed to start thermonuclear reactions, be it to ignite an H-bomb or to trigger the microexplosion of a thermonuclear fuel pellet [9]. We thus discovered that it is possible to build a H-bomb, or a neutron bomb, in which the three to five kg of plutonium are replaced by one microgram of antihydrogen. The result would be a bomb so-called "clean" by the militaries, i.e., a weapon practically free of radioactive fall-out, because of the absence of fissile materials (Fig.2) from 'Antimatter weapons' (source already sighted in above post)
Add to that the $Trillion upgrade to the USA's nuclear triggers and I start to think we have now turned even the smallest fission bomb into a planet buster. Disturbing to say the least.

The whole world needs some miracles about now. People discuss miracles all the time so they must believe in them. One such political miracle would be that the very people now in India to negotiate a stalled civilian nuclear agreement would somehow lead a concerted human effort to deal with the ongoing situation at Fukushima. This political transition will take a miracle. Billions of dollars fuel the nuclear juggernaut. Another miracle would be if humans could stop burning materials including atoms as a means of energy extraction. Why are billions currently spent on burn technologies when renewables are now so cheap? I would like to hear about what others think about miracles.

  • Dick Shenary

Another miracle is that we would not spend a trillion dollars on replacing our old nuclear arsenal. Are the ICBMs getting rusty? Don't the mega thermos explode any more? Don't we really have enough destructive power currently on hand? How often would you recommend replacement for these expensive systems? Yes, we need the miracle of rational judgment…but not to worry.

  • Dick Shenary

The President recently announced that the US intends to replace and upgrade their aging nuclear arsenal over the next few decades. Where is the proposal to replace and upgrade our aging infrastructure? We will have the latest in shiny new nuclear weapons while our bridges, roads, piping systems and water supply fall apart. The truly amazing fact is that our new nuclear weapons systems will be carefully hidden so no one can see them and no one including the government can use them. Yes, good idea, let’s spend a trillion on something we cannot see or use while our infrastructure falls apart. HELLO – IS ANYONE HOME AT THE WHITEHOUSE?

    • West Aussie West Aussie

Nah, Dick. We probably need all these new super-weapons so we can strut our stuff on the Galactic stage as we kick butt and set up our Empire of the Psychopathic, Symptomatic, Syphilitic, Sycophants! Did I get all that right, Uncle-Sam Westinghouse?

      • PlowboyGrownUp

Gotta have new super-weapons despite this:
"A 1991 IPPNW study estimated that the strontium-90, cesium-137, carbon-14, and plutonium-239 released worldwide in all nuclear test explosions would be responsible for 430,000 cancer deaths by the year 2000. Moreover, there are additional widespread health and environmental effects of nuclear weapons production as the result of massive contamination of land by radioactive materials and toxic chemicals.
"Epidemiological studies in the last decade have indicated serious health effects on individuals exposed as a result of nuclear weapons testing and manufacture. A reevaluation of the relationship between Nevada Test Site fallout and thyroid disease showed a greater than previously thought excess risk for thyroiditis at a rate of 4.9 per Gy of exposure. In addition, mortality and morbidity of United Kingdom and New Zealand military personnel involved in nuclear tests in the 1950s and 1960s was found to be worse than those who were not involved. Radioactive material releases from the Mayak nuclear weapons facility in Russia contaminated the region surrounding the Techa River and led to an additional risk of leukemias (excluding chronic lymphoid) of 4.6 times the background risk per Gy of exposure."

We are just collateral damage, the rug of the 'Futurists' to wipe their feet on.

wa – You got that all right except the Uncle-Sam Westinghouse part. In the future please refer to this long lived corporation as WESTINGHOUSE-SAN POWER CORP. and bow slightly while saying the name. Toshiba will be proud when you do this.

You mention the infrastructure falling apart, and the government seemingly not interested in repairing any of it.

In it's own way, that is proof that .gov knows what's coming, and there is no point in repairing any of it. The freeway system was originally designed, under Eisenhower, to move troops and equipment rapidly across the US, with the transfer of goods a positive byproduct. A lesson well learned on the battlefields of WWII.

.gov no longer considers the rapid movement of troops and military equipment a necessity, and certainly isn't interested in the free flow of commercial products. When the bridges collapse, the trucks stop.

      This isn't rocket science.

      • AirSepTech AirSepTech

        No infrastructure needed.

And A.C. Clarke may have had some things right, regardless of '2001'

"In the May 1970 issue of Popular Science magazine, Arthur C. Clarke predicted that satellites would someday "bring the accumulated knowledge of the world to your fingertips" using a console that would combine the functionality of the photocopier, telephone, television and a small computer, allowing data transfer and video conferencing around the globe."

        Our future awaits us.

Pretty sure the nuclear caused cancer projections are extremely light/low…

Damaging the biological genome of millions of species will have generational consequences that will not be positive..

Pretty sure we are starting to see this damage play out on the world stage right now based on the news articles posted here.. 🙁

    • Time Is Short Time Is Short

Give it five years, Obe-wan. We're just getting started.

      • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

The projected death by cancer numbers are actually pretty impressive with a projection of 2 billion dead directly from cancer between the years 2030 and 2110, with another approximate 4 billion humans being diagnosed with some form of exotic/rare soon to be common cancers in their respective lifetimes.

Me thinks we need to change up the current progress game plans a little bit..or no one will be left to be able or capable to change anything in the near future.. 🙁

But will we still have 24/7 non stop taxable shopping in the future..that is the real question to ponder.

'Autism Will Afflict Half Of The American Children By 2025, And Glyphosate Is To Blame, MIT Doctor Says'

In ten years, if she's right, half of all children will be autistic. The cost to care for these kids will be more than any economy can afford, along with the fact the vast majority of these kids will be unable to grow up to be self-supportive/taxpayers.

In the meantime, in the next ten years, the exponential ongoing increase to her percentages will be horrific in themselves. And this is only what she predicts through the use of RoundUp on our food crops. She does not mention any factoring in to her projections the impact of the Fukushima radiation on the children in North America.

We have poisoned the generational well.

          • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Not good, but very easy to prove, test all mothers at birth and one and two years in and then find out which children have/show autism symptoms.

+100000000000000 TY, TiS. This is only 10 years away. Add in all those who get Alzheimer's from cell phones and people mutated from radiation and there will be Zombies all over the place and no health care system can keep up with this tragedy. The world could stop right now and change everything. But some people love money too much, and they never learned about the stories about the goose that laid the golden egg or the Midas touch. Sad, very, very sad.

The AEC referred to rural people as "a low use segment of the population", (pertaining to fallout)

"The AEC selected the Nevada Test Site in southeastern Nevada because the federal government owned hundreds of square miles of surrounding desert land, and because it contained, in the contemptuous words of one bureaucrat, "a low-use segment of the population"–the Mormon citizens of St. George, Cedar City, and other sacrificial cities of southwestern Utah."

Have you ever noticed the recession only effects the bottom 50%..never the rich or the governments that own printing presses.

You can always laugh when you have no worries and an unending owned by law resource to tap..

    • Dick Shenary

Obe, recessions do give the wealthy something to whine about and demand more money for the job creators.

      • Cisco Cisco

The banks and the rich love recessions. Recessions work nicely for the banks and the rich. Most good stuff is for sale for $0.10 to $.30 on the dollar; a great opportunity to acquire more purposefully depressed assets.

    • Time Is Short Time Is Short

Governments don't own the 'printing presses'. They are owned by international banks, controlled by very old families, and they dictate how much governments can 'borrow'.

Notice how 'governments' are not allowed to audit Central Banks? There is a pecking order, and Central Banks are above governments.

      • Gentle Giant Gentle Giant

The pecking order is the Elites. No one else matters. We are 8 billion serfs who need to be culled to 500 million per Georgia Guidestones and many other Elite sources who continually point out the overpopulation of planet Earth as they meet in Davos to implement final solutions. Do you feel like the 1 in 16 who will be lucky? Do you, punk!! Everything appears to be going as planned…..radioactive death spread throughout the atmosphere since 1945, and accelerating. Sprinkle in some Geo-engineered chemtrails for good color contrast. Top it off with Big Pharma medicine and GMO foodstuffs for that extra kick!! How about another World War on the menu? Only the fittest will survive. Given good information and proper choices , most of us here should be a part of that 500 million because we are awake and trying (most of us here) to help ourselves and others. Then again, maybe the Elites overshot their goal and will kiss their asses good bye along with all of the rest of us.

  • Dick Shenary

Pgu – "The main argument is that, since the nuclei here referred to are very large and naturally unstable, it is quite plausible to expect the existence of various mechanisms that would stimulate their decay, from meanlives of thousands of years down to practically valuable meanlife of the order of seconds, miniutes or days, depending on the case.” I am not knowledgeable enough to offer an opinion on this latest dream of alchemy. But I do remember the often heard slogan – Dilution is the Solution. Will someone patiently explain to me how radioactive atoms and molecules that have been through the dilution process will be rounded up for processing. This will make the cattle drives of the old west seem like nothing. The longer we wait to act, the less effective the alchemical approach will be. Good Luck with that approach, by the way.

    • Gentle Giant Gentle Giant

DS, We are having good luck. But dilution is not the solution. It is the opposite….fusion is the solution thru LENR. Read the article entitled "The Nuclear Reactor in Your Basement" by NASA Jet Propulsion Lab's Bob Silberg from 2/13/2013 to catch up on the basics of the alchemy. Then go to RossiBlogReader.com and see how far we are in the process as of today (working reactors with big money backers). On the blog, Joe asks if LENR can be used for cleaning nuclear waste sites. If we get behind this promising technology, the answer is a resounding yes. Everyone here should also place an order for the residential ECAT. There is no obligation to buy, but I will (if the Elites allow a public release). I always loved solar (and still do), but this works in the dark without batteries. The Lugano Report of 2014 has data which shows unstable isotopes of Nickel transforming to stable isotopes of Nickel……and (for the alchemist dream) Copper(none was present at the start of the experiment) within a 32 day experiment!!! The energy produced from the reaction is much more by many times than what was added from the start. I sense a fatal blow to the nuclear fission boys with this new and ripening technology. ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!

    • PlowboyGrownUp

DS, No I haven't found the slightest inkling of how to round up widespread dilution, or widely spread, radioactive particles (:.
Are these particles attracted to electrical charges, or magnetism?

  • Dick Shenary

The current administration and the Air Force have recently made the most startling announcement. Aliens from another solar system have been examining Earth as a possible relocation planet. It seems that the aliens have allowed far too many radionuclides to escape their control and are now looking to relocate. They have noted our nuclear contamination problems and know of our plan to transmute these particles into more stable elements. They have also decided to keep looking at other less problematic planets. No need to call out the National Guard. No need for sphincters to tighten.

Perhaps TIS is correct in that my frequent posts and rants have been somewhat therapeutic for me, while blocking other thought and opinion. I hope not. Any disagreements have been polite and I do not indulge in name calling. Sarcasm and parity are my current tools while despair is not. I would be glad to go and paint the outside trim of my house just now as it needs it, and let others speak. Let me know.

  • Dick Shenary

These issues are not about me or my current frustrations. These issues are about what we all collectively are going to do about this dangerous technology. To that end, I personally will do whatever I can including being silent if that is best.

    • Time Is Short Time Is Short

The first step is to define the problem. Hence, Enenews, among others.

The second step is to discuss possible solutions, and hopefully come to a decisive, correct answer. Hence, the comment section with extensive scholarly documentation and some really great minds.

However, in this case, there are no physical solutions to the problem at hand.

Therefore, and hoping to avoid the religious police, the next best thing is to follow your bliss, and encourage others to do the same, all the while loving those you can and praying for those you can't.

  • Dick Shenary

TIS – I do agree entirely with one large exception – "However, in this case, there are no physical solutions to the problem at hand." How can we say this without really trying. The pathetic efforts of TEPCO and Japan so far have not accomplished much of anything except hot water storage and processing and they are not good at that. You are correct when you say that you cannot do something. That mindset alone will stop you. The history of most of man's accomplishments have come at the hands of those who refused to accept that there are no solutions at hand.
