Title: Camera peeks inside reactor

[...] Tepco said Thursday it has inserted an industrial endoscope into the primary containment vessel of reactor unit 2 at the Fukushima No. 1 plant, but images showed the level of coolant water was lower than the utility had estimated.

The endoscope took images of the vessel’s interior around 4 meters from the bottom, but failed to detect any coolant water. Tepco had projected that the water level would have risen to about 4.5 meters in the vessel, based on the difference in pressure between its main body and a lower component, known as the suppression chamber. [...]

Tepco spokesman Junichi Matsumoto downplayed the coolant water level, saying that even the utility had doubts over its initial projections and that the finding is therefore not necessarily surprising.

This doesn’t mean that the situation at the plant is drastically different (from that forecast) even though the water level was not confirmed at the 4-meter level, he said. [...]

I think the gages they are depending on for their ‘cold shutdown like conditions’ Are faulty.

Hopefully the tons of melted fuel are still inside the concrete second containment area…

NO water may be a “red herring”–the fuel rods or corium is not seen 4 METERS from the bottom of the vessel. DUH!

“The endoscope took images of the vessel’s interior around 4 meters from the bottom, but failed to detect any coolant water.” So the fuel rods are where??? Thats more critical than the missing water. And the gages are in this mess? Not damaged?

Cooling of reactors is done by water..there is none..
    There is no “cold-shut-down”.
Who believes the temperature data from Tepco anyway?
A “cold shut-down” knowing without physical status?…ahh COME ON.
The camera break due to high radiation..
    Uncontrolled radiation.
    Where is the pristine containment?

I have some comments, first to the SHILLS you have been brainwashed by people who do not understand fully about radiation and the Human body most findings are just guesses, but as to long term here is what I know cancer and Radiation never had a foot print till the NUCLEAR~AGE now everyone on the planet is being exposed from the first bomb tests to the Ongoing Disasters at MANY NUCLEAR PLANTS from leakages to exposing the world to DANGEROUS levels of radiation. Plants have leaked poison into the world’s water resources, the environment, the plants, our food supplies and the oceans and the fish. Many people all over the world will die from newly discovered body cancers, this includes all animal and plant life. The planet is about to go into NUCLEAR HELL, and people that believe radiation is good are nothing more than devils in disguise.
