A valid comment, but put yourself in their shoes.

If they tell the truth, Tepco goes bye-bye. Tepco pays the rent, it buys their food, it may even offer them a retirement plan.

Sounds like a lot of the Government workers here. Sorry, but I can't tell you how bad it is. You really wouldn't like it. (And I'd have no job).

      Perspective's a bitch. ;)

@ Max1 & Shammalang… This is exactly why we are involved in the evolution of consciousness. Splitting the atom, taking the power of the universe into our own hands, mandates that we must evolve an equivalent consciousness. Don't tell me it's not possible. We must evolve back to the consciousness the natives, the injuns were trying to teach us as we massacred them—respect for each other and respect for mother earth. The dominator culture was wrong then. The dominator culture is wrong now. And in its error it prepares a miserable grave for this branch of evolution.
There is no time to condemn and judge; there is time only to learn and evolve.

Hi Felix.. thanks for the YT link. Do you mind letting us know the length of long clips, some of us don't always have a good broadband connection handy.

And me, I can't be bothered with a clip that goes for more then a few minutes. I'd much prefer to read – it has a better data-dump rate ;)

So, in the end, I don't actually know what your clip was about sorry. Thanks though, as always.

Japan's constant factional warfare AKA "habatsu sensou" within their govt, always left me shaking my head wondering just who the hell is in charge of anything. Responsibility is diluted to the point of no return (obfuscation).
I do not see how big business as usual could sweep this leviathan of ongoing cataclysm under the tatami mat.
Sadly, when no one entity of govt/industry is held responsible–ALL of the innocent Japanese must take responsibilty. Such is the reason for massive fearless protesting. When they ain't got nothing, they ain't got nothing to lose…

Also, if Titty baby KO started telling the truth ASAP we all might save the world. Furthermore, TBKO does not pay my rent, and has contaminated my food, and has destroyed all I know and love to where my last concern is retirement. No, not at all…nothing they are doing over there is good for anyone. Wasn't talking about us and you and me necessarily, I was talking about the TEPCO employees that are making these decisions.

I compared their actions to the government workers here that would rather not tell you how bad things really are….because then they would have no job.

I'm still of the opinion that the USSR has been the only regime on the planet capable of cleaning up such a mess. The "human robots" they used will never be seen in a Democratic society.

There's More to the fact of them Delaying the Dumping of seawater into the Critical reactors. There's Lots of Nuclear science involved with the decision.

Anyone Familiar with Neutron Radiation knows that any element that is exposed to Neutron radiation Bombardment undergoes a change and becomes unstable and a radioactive Isotope of Its original form. IE Seawater is made up mostly of what? SALTS! and other minerals. There are many other factors as well, but the most important mineral and salts! What happens to the sea salts? They become a Iodine Isotope.

Nothing like adding more dangerous fallout than the original fissionable materials. If anyone would investigate deeper, they would find a link to the higher amounts of lighter fallout materials. IE. Iodine, Potassium and some other now unstable elements.

There will be repercussions from these actions. Any Nuclear scientist will tell you this.

I'm not Pro Tepco by any means, They are a loose cannon. Leaving all of reality and society on a fringe,And should be held accountable for their actions and decisions.

This should have become an International Effort as soon as The plant went "Blackout".

parts of audio tapes lost because a 21st century hard drive was full? I don't think so.
did the (ex) PM tape the conversations from their end?
and I await till eternity for the (conspiracy theory alert) Israeli-based security companies video tapes from the inside of the reactors. said nationals might have copies given they had internet access to the plant.
ahh, if only the truth were a dominatrix mistress to spank all these monkey men climbing their greasy poles. 90% of all organised human activities are brought about by (and for) endemic lying and toadying.

Also MR Nedli, you really ought to point out some pre-war facts. Japan's military Industrial Complex (zaibatsu) had just finished munching away every golden bhuddist statue from every village they could rape and pillage…melting it all down to fund more greed and more melted statues.
Same heritage today, just different minerals.
Japan had attacked so many (made so many enemies) that America had to absorb them into the NUKE Cabal. Putting 50+ nukes on land with dozens of nuke subs was a show of force that kept the balance of power.
NIXON gave Okinawa back as a quid pro quo to put more nukes during the cold war. INSANITY! That is why all of my buddies say we have to take a NIXON right before we take a shit. Wasn't Dick Cheney a congressional assisstant during the Nixon Admin?

You guys really give these murdering clowns to much credit for having any brains.

The USS Ronald Regan was 100 miles away when Unit 3 blew and had to move elsewhere when recuse mission helicopters came back to ship contaminated then the fallout cloud from Unit 3's explosion came drifting by. Japan never bothered to tell the carrier about the explosion but knew enough to evacuate the plant before it blew (nuke carriers are loaded with sensors since they are nuke powered themselves, they thought they had a reactor leak aboard ship before they figured things out for themselves).

Reading the old headlines and stories is very interesting in retrospect with current knowledge available. The fallout spin is constant however.

much appreciated razzz. I lived so far out in the country-side of rural Japan I did not have internet for the last 10 years.
And, I must admit that drunken profanity and passionate exaggeration offers 0% credibility. Not all of my little league buddies died in Santa Suzanna of leukemia (just a few of my favourite teammates). And, the few of my Army buddies stationed in Germany in 1986, probably died from alcohol poisoning.
on a more sober not (bad hangover), any credibility I do have may be found in some shocking books about Japan: Karl van Wolferen, "The Enigma of Japanese Power"; Robert Whiting, "Tokyo UnderWorld"; Ivan Hall, "Cartels of the Mind; Alex Kerr, "Dogs and Demons: Tales from the Dark Side of Japan"…just off the top of my head(ache).
