Speaker 1: One apple farmer committed suicide and his family found his dead body in his apple orchards on Dec. 24 [...]
I heard that in his will he said, “Hang in there and get compensation from Tepco.”

Tepco Spokesman: We just heard today that he committed suicide and we are really sorry to hear that. Please accept our condolences.

Speaker 2: Do you want to kill someone again? [...] Those who have sent you bills dated Dec. 1 have come here today. (Nearly half of audience stands) Do you want them to commit suicide? Don’t you get it?

    …revelation will rain-down,
    as deluge upon parched field…

For those of you who have patiently awaited the awakening over these many decades, you have been vindicated for having held to righteous truth. Be not pride-filled, but know that the goddess has been honored by your intent to protect her creation. Do no harm to those who’ve done wrong; such justice is in her hands. Resist poisonous pride in having won this long war. Take them by the hand and together work towards healing love. Do justice to the wisdom of the goddess…

Suicide because of TEPCO inept handling of THEIR disaster. The blame is TEPCO to start with. TEPCO has gotten money from the Japanese government, where have they spent it? BUILDING a new for them JAPAN in India. So farmers and others needing someway to live, eat, work –are starving. Its now JANUARY –the TEPCO accident was March or 10 months ago. These people need medical care, somewhere they can safely live, safe food, and protection from mortage costs/interest rates on their properties. The Japanese government needs to assume the morgages for those businesses who are within ANY fallout which impacts the economy. Since TEPCO is under government control now..for 10 years..no pointing back to TEPCO. TEPCO took the money and ran with it..no compensation, workers compensation for illness..and more. Criminals–the TEPCO officers and board members! They should have their photos posted all over the internet so people in the streets of Japan can point at them and make them aware of how angry everyone is….

I call these “almost” Haiku—I don’t have the time or patience to make them fit the exact pattern…

    Every county has shame
Hidden by secrets for only so long
    Time provides transparency

    OR

    Atomic shame
    Winter’s secrets blossom in spring
    Seeds bring dead flowers

  • Yup, no one is counting these deaths as being caused by FUKU…

There is NO relationship at all between these suicides and the disaster.

The nuclear industry has clean hands, and can keep claiming NOT ONE DEATH, due to FUKU.

    Believe blindly
    Believe without hearing
    Believe without feeling

    Swallow victims whole
    No chewing required
    No hearts included

I wish he hadn’t killed himself.

There is always the possibility of going somewhere else.

He might have got to start an apple orchard elsewhere, or in another country.

He might have got to start one someplace like the U.S., maybe in a place with the perfect soil.

Japanese people are excellent citizens. Many countries would be benefited from them immigrating.

If I were President, I’d especially open the doors to them. Except for Yazuka, they’d never be allowed in, unless they changed.

Saw this on youtube last night. Criminals and cowards. Same thing here. “We’ll look into getting half of your compensation advanced”. In other words they’re telling them to get f#cked

My theory…TEPCO is waiting to see if the spent fuel pool in building #4 holds up. If it doesn’t and it collapses then all of those farmers will have to evacuate anyway. Fukushima farmland is a bad investment because the nuclear disaster could still become worse. TEPCO doesn’t want to throw good money after bad. They don’t want to pay until the situation is more stable and under control at the nuclear plant.

Those unfortunate farmers I can’t even imagine the stress they and their families are under right now.
