TEPCO official describes possible meltdown at No. 1 reactor: The “molten fuel accumulates like lava”

Published: April 21st, 2011 at 8:41 am ET

Kyodo reported that on Wednesday a TEPCO official admitted the fuel in reactor No. 1 “could be melting.”

TEPCO official Junichi Matsumoto described the “possible meltdown”,  comparing it to “a state in which molten fuel accumulates like lava.”

    The best things to do:
    1) make the tepco execs clean up the mess personally.

    2) move to the southern hemisphere.

Experts: Store blood cells from Japan nuke workers

Workers at Japan’s troubled nuclear plant should store blood cells now in case they need them later as treatment for radiation overdose, some Japanese experts suggest.

Plant workers are struggling to control radiation leakage from the Fukushima Dai-ichi complex, which was severely damaged by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. Radiation levels are dangerously high in some areas of the plant, and the experts note that the work there will take years, posing a risk of accidental exposure.

High doses of radiation can destroy the blood-making cells of the bone marrow, a potentially fatal outcome that can be…

Personal Radiation Alert System Coming to LA
The software monitors individual exposure over time
A new radiation alert system that monitors an individual’s exposure over time is making its way to Los Angeles.

Software called the DICOM Index Tracker is in use at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and is expected to be distributed nationally in the near future.

The DICOM captures radiation dose information and stores it in a centralized database linked to electronic medical records.

    Data is entered after every…

From what I have read..how they make Nuclear Reactor is very old Atomic bomb science…..and I thought that the reason they were using radioactive uranium etc. was to produce energy. I thought the radioactive rods produce the energy. Its not, they use them to heat up the water , to boil it to a steam, and then the steam is what produces the electricity! So that is a very expensive, dangerous, way to boil water!~ A needless to say pretty stupid way too. No way to get rid of the positive rods. And you can’t tell me that all of these years they have been boiling water with radioactive rods, and you see the white steam coming out of those reactors, that that steam has to be also radioactive polluting our planet for years. NO wonder they tell us not live within 50 miles of one. Also, just two months ago, I went to see my doctor, and she told me she is seeing alot of Cancer of the Thyroid in our area. So, I called the Michigan Radioactive Monitoring person. And he said the Reactor 20 miles from us,was shut down in Michigan after 9/11. But, the rods are outside, sitting next to it on a cement slab. And encased in steel, 15 ft wide by 20 ft tall. But everything is safe, not much radioactive being emitted from them. And no water is cooling them either. So why does Japan need to be cooling theirs? They must be still trying to generate electricity with them or something.I told the gentlemen about the Ca of Thyorid in children in the area…and to make damnn sure he was geiger countering those reactors daily……..They set right next to Lake Michigan. Now this is my copyright suggestion…….if all they need to do to produce electricity by boiling water to produce steam , why not use a Mini HARRP, antenena and heat the water up like that. That Energy is free, they use it all of the time to heat the Atmosphere up to 2,000 degrees……it is obtained from the EMF’s from the Sun…so why not do that way. Remove all of the radioactive rods, find some place to store them for a million years, maybe topedo them over to Mars or the Moon……they are right now shooting Sand to the moon, why I don’t know.but they are doing it. But anyway, use all of those Nuke Plant structures but retrofit a mini Harrp Energy to heat their dang water to steam which takes not 2,000 degrees but 212 degrees….hence a mini HARRP antena…and there yah have it……safer and clean energy!~ What do you guys think? Now its my idea….but I think it makes more sense..and why can’t Japan remove what they can of those rods and encase them with steel and be done with it……
