    And so it begins.
29 months to finally "come clean" on this mess, as oxymoronic as that sounds.

Just wonder how "On The Beach" it will actually get.

I am near Portland OR and have given up trying to steer clear of
    the fallout.

Yet essentially not a word of Fuku in the local newspaper (another oxymoron!)

    • We Not They Finally

The problem about "on the beach" is that the Pacific Ocean is the WORLD'S beach. They need to start forcing the water INLAND. Evacuate the Japanese people and let Japan drown and sink.

Oh, they wouldn't like that idea because it would be bad for THEM? Easier to kill off all of US? So angry I could scream.

We need to define some terms here.

      Definition of OXYMORON
: a combination of contradictory or incongruous words (as cruel kindness); broadly : something (as a concept) that is made up of contradictory or incongruous elements

      Definition of FOXYMORON
: a combination of contradictory or incongruous News reports. broadly : something (as a concept) that is made up of contradictory or incongruous elements and/or pure bull shit.

    "Seeping…" ! Hardly a trickle.

Remember – No need to worry about the radiation because it's only a tiny amount. They'll warn us if our body load approaches more than a gram or two of Cesium or Plutonium per kilogram, but that's still just a tiny amount – Only one part in a thousand. And if there's any concern among the namby-pamby public, they have simple methods of removing all the water from our bodies and replacing it with fluoridated Gator Aid.
You see – We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Even if there were any real danger, the authorities are empowered to raise the safe limits of contamination if necessary, and render the perceived problem null. The only real danger we face is from the nattering nabobs of negativism and their card-carrying fellow travelers in the fuzzy-headed liberal camp. George Orwell was the one who planted all these paranoid thoughts in our heads.

I'd also act like things all of a sudden got crazy/serious if the magnifying glass was on me. I still think some management shift occured within Tepco/Japanese-government. They would've looked more honest had they said this stuff when the media wasn't looking. Perhaps some people within Tepco plan to expose internal conflict when morr questions are asked.

  • We Not They Finally

I say let Japan force that water INLAND, NOT out to sea. Evacuate the Japanese people, then let Japan drown and sink. TEPCO has NO RIGHT to kill off the rest of us with their criminality.

A great example of TMI's PA Nuclear Fallout legacy and soon to repeated throughout all of Japan and the rest of the nations effected downwind/stream by Fukushima! What joy!

  • jump-ball jump-ball

Bloomberg says Abe just announced he is going to "…direct Tepco to make sure there is a swift and multi-faceted approach in place.”

Sounds a day late and a yen short.

  • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

It must be apparent to all by now…that Abe is bought and sold idiot.

    • We Not They Finally

Abe is from a VERY die-hard militaristic family. His grandfather was a WWII war criminal who somehow escaped conviction. Something like Prescott Bush convicted under the Trading With The Enemy Act in 1942, and he should have been jailed as a traitor but was instead slapped with a fine and went on to become a U.S. Senator! Also see Yoichi Shimatsu's write-up about how Shinzo Abe was in on bringing MOX fuel to Japan, along with the Cheney cabal,to build up Japan militarily.

So obewan, I fully relate to your disgust, but one thing Abe is NOT is a "bought and sold idiot." He's not a puppet. He's a deadly dangerous lead player.

  • The Nuclear experts have known since the beginning that this was an 'out of control' global catastrophe.

IMO – Masao Yoshida, the former head of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant bought the world some time by ignoring orders and using saltwater to cool the destroyed NPPs.

Mr. Yoshida has died of esophageal cancer. He was 58 years old.

“If Yoshida hadn’t been plant manager, Tokyo would be a no-man’s land right now”, said Ryusho Kadota.

    Since 311:
    2 years 4 months 27 days
    880 DAYS …and counting

Fukushima Daiichi has proven the fallacy that Nuclear Power Plants have containment systems that cannot be breached!!!

This fact alone should be reason enough to STOP these monstrosities, NOW and forever.

  • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Whats the difference… "a bought and sold Idiot" vs "He's a deadly dangerous lead player."

Both are one and the same unless you want Japan to start all their reactors…maybe puppet is better?

These japanese change players like candy…the people are all simply minions. Not unlike the rest of us out here..

    bla bla bla…

    bla bla bla.

Being here since the very beginning of this catastrophe we know what they are doing

    bla bla bla…
    bla bla bla…
    bla bla bla..
    bla bla bla.

and the heart of the bleeding ex- nuclear reactors which are a chaotic mess down there in the unsheltered soil and groundwater are pumping out their nuclear poison for years and years and years to come and all they will go on doing is

    bla bla bla…
    bla bla bla…
    bla bla bla..
    bla bla bla.

until the environment over there will be so poisonous no one can tell! And still the powers that rule this fukcing planet will say

    bla bla bla…
    bla bla bla…
    bla bla bla..
    bla bla bla.

since March 11, 2011.Or even since 1959 or something like that.

(I even got some epic symphony orchestra in my mind which is playing the background orchestra for this atrocity.

Don't know who Dr. Sircus is, but his Pacific map indicates that it isn't just the left coast that is getting contaminated, but the South American shore as well:

To my friends here and others, I want to say this clearly to you about this **alarm** emanating out of Japan. These are curious and evolving times we are in together and I believe we have a critical need to NOT get emotionally enmeshed into deeply emotional and seemingly impossible situations like Fuku. I am sharing this out of love because we know logically, they should have been ringing the bells LOUD AND CLEAR back on 311 like we all were. We have paid a heavy heavy price through our caring and sharing here. The planet has cried out through us begging for mercy. We have called out the oddness of the response from Japan and world leaders from day one. We were enlightened enough already to have congregated NATURALLY together in defense of this Earth. At times the more expressive and passionate posted have boiled over in exasperation from just our conversations and mutual discoveries. In my opinion this entire thing is perhaps a ruse of some sort from people with agendas very different than ours. Protect yourself and stay strong for the planet. These guys are saying they are helpless so let it be. We are not.

To me this is like someone freaking out about someone who was run over by a car three years ago. They didn't do a RIGHT thing when it happened, when it mattered. We know that. We witnessed it all.
