TEPCO starts adjusting gauges at Unit 1, NHK, May 10, 2011:
[TEPCO] says the temperature of the plant’s Number 3 reactor has been rising this month, and that work to pump water to cool the reactor may be insufficient.
The company says it is installing new pipes at the reactor and hopes to start pumping water through them on Thursday.

Liquified lead is next. Is there even such a thing? What’s a little heavy metal poisoning compared to radiation exposure. Although this is an example of the lesser of two evils still being evil, we need some new ideas about what to do.
“Houston we have a problem!” Pandora’s box is about to be opened, and we need some thinking outside of this box to keep it closed.

I wonde if that’s an acending event where the more reaction you have the more reaction you will have, until it’s seconds away from 4000c or something like that. Does anyone the temperature for impact?

Actually just read the link.they’re very tricky with their wording eh? “rad levels 7 to 12 milliSieverts nearby”…makes it sound like they can go in their swimsuits?..also means if you post this link it sounds like all is fine, to those who don’t know…

Simatsu, in his latest radio interview with Rense says TEPCO is looking for divers with nuclear training (navy?) who are already terminally ill but functional. Some of those pipes need checking in the ‘flooded’ parts.
