That article is filled with distortions and misinformation. Alex Jones appears not to have kept up with events since the meltdowns. Can it be that some of the government has discovered that they themselves may be at risk? I'm sure they are thankful they have us to pay for their protection.

Damage was light – the quakes were horizontal rather than vertical – and the Big Waves Never came, unlike eight years ago when walls of water roared across the same ocean and ploughed into seaside communities in 13 countries without warning.

See my prediction of threat to Kudankulam and Kalpakkam because of large earthquakes in North Indian Ocean and off the west Coast of Northern Sumatra, heat producing ones at Kutch, and Satara(Koyna!) and Ratnagiri(A nuke park is proposed!)Maharashtra as well in Jammu and Kashmir.Google search for predicting earthquakes/Ramaswami Kumar at
http://predictingquakes.blogspot.in
The upshot of the discussion is that the cumulative effect of the dams has been to heat up the earth directly as to cause melting of rocks and if fortuitiously if a nuclear complex is situated on the rock, we may have a tragedy on our hands. This is what happened at Kashiwasaki Kariwa and Fukushima.

I am not certain that there is a safe shut down. Once a plant has been placed into operation it creates waste as well as hazards lasting far longer than its useful life. Whether waste (spent fuel) is stored on site (an idiotic decision if ever) or off site, nuclear takes humans to police it, store it, decommission it, monitor it… and if #4 4 tips over or falls apart in an EQ or other expectedly normal aging process ('it was built on unreinforced sand at the edge of an ocean for goodness sake)…the area will become so toxic that no one could approach and do any of the necessary things to keep disaster at bay. Cooling in spent fuel pools might have to run consistenly without fail for a hundred years after decommisioning??? Do I have this correct?
