But this was at least 20 times more than the radiation that was declared as safe or acceptable by the World Health Organisation,” he said.
The Government was suppressing information, in fact, lying to us constantly, he said.
“Being in Tokyo was like being in a science fiction movie,” he said. While he spoke about how for weeks Tokyo remained “deserted, empty and dark”, and continues to have around 20 per cent power shortage, he also said that there have been reports about traces of increased levels of radioactive content in mothers’ milk. We better get ready, the perfect storm is coming soon.. We either have all nuclear plants turned off and all nuclear material cooled down to the point where there is no power needed to keep them cool, or we are all toast.
Can you imagine 400 plus nuclear power plants and their spent fuel pools all melting down, melting through and/or blowing up as reactor #3 did?
Reactor 3 released 500 pounds of plutonium into the air, and tons of uranium… Imagine 1000 times that much going into the air, globally, and then NEVER STOPPING.

Within a few hours all the iodine tablets were sold out. If the government told the truth, we the people would over react. Is it right that they lie to us, no. But, it would send the world into complete shut down. Then all hell would really break out and more people would die faster. Yes the radiation will effect us all. But if the government comes out and tells us we are all going to die, I believe it would be alot nastier and more people would die because of greed then radiation. There are those of us who follow enenews daily and i do i appreciate all of your comments and have learned alot.I don't comment because my gramer and spelling suck and I knew nothing about nuke plants or the effects .I thank you all for your diligence,intelligence and willingness to share. I like most people would have overreacted. if i had the money i would head for the hills. Do i agree with what the government is doing no. I believe the truth should be made available for those who want it. Most people don't. The doctors will do what ever they can to cure cancer when people start showing signs. All reactors should be shut down and any profits or monies involved should be put towards cleanup and medical. It is truly sad the way governments are treating their people and it does need to change but if all the sheeple knew the truth like sheep they would be herded over the cliff as soon as one jumps many would follow.

My apologies I am not meaning to offend. I totally agree what the governments are doing is wrong by not telling or giving us the truth. Fear brings out the worst in people. Im on the west coast of Canada and we are given no news about the radiation over here except for what i find on Enenews. What I feel here is nothing compared to what the people in japan are feeling i couldnt even imagine.

I remember when chernobyl happened, the government wasted no time evacuating pripyat, and there was not panic and death there from telling the truth. Death came later, of course, to many from their exposure, but had those people been left in pripyat, they would have ALL died. Sadly I think the japanese people left in contaminated places would prefer panic with a chance to live, compared to this slow death. Also, the japanese are famous for being reserved, it would take something incredible threatening them to cause panic.
