Caravan to Midnight, the John B. Wells Program, March 2014:

At 2:00 in

  • John B. Wells, top-rated host of the most-listened-to overnight program in history ‘Coast to Coast AM’ until January 2014: Back at the old radio program, one of the comments I used to get all the time was, ‘Oh, radiation shows are just boring, they scare people and they’re depressing and the numbers just go down.’ So, I guess they were worried about numbers, they were just worried about them going down – and they were worried about them going up in certain parts and on certain nights, but that’s all thanks to you, that has nothing to do with me, it has everything to do with you, everything to do with you.

At 11:00

  • 4-minute review of headlines from ENENews

At 18:00 in

  • Wells: This Fukushima thing is for real people. Despite the objections from the staff and the ‘on highs’ at Coast to Coast AM, I mentioned Fukushima every chance I got. And before it was it over with, why even the captain began talking about Fukushima. Well, we’re just a little bit late. Fukushima was almost 3 years ago and it has not improved. I used to ask over and over again, why is the world not rushing to Fukushima? I’ll tell you why, because there’s nothing they can do about it and they know it. So what we’re going to have to do is play this ball where it lays. What we’re going to have to do is we’re going to have to shut down our nuclear power plants in this country.

Absolutely no safe storage or disposal solutions to nuclear waste. Yet the world is mass producing it daily. Truely a mad mad world. Germany figured it out. It's simply too late. Time to design proper pressure lids are not after they have blown to hell and contaminated everything. If I was mother earth, I would kill the vermin that unleashed this hell. That would be us. We allowed it to happen therefore we are all guilty. Even if every nuke plant and nuke weapon was stopped and dismantled today, it's simply too fucking late. TIC TOC.. Best get you bucket lists going. Were being systematically made impotent. Wont be able to reproduce soon. Who will be the last man walking? Benn a hell of a ride. I blame Obama for not taking decisive action when we could have. Russia is wasting their money on their new containment building. It just doesn't matter anymore. Fuku done us in…….. tm2020, don't have to get apoplectic. And look, we know who the guilty parties are, and no, it's not us! This has been a pattern of lies and escalation and wrongful power and secret agendas since the 1940's.

Anyone ever wonder why Eisenhower made his famous "beware of the military/industrial complex" speech when he was on his way OUT of office? Because he could apparently do nothing while IN office except to push the completely wrongful agenda of "Atoms for Peace."

And everyone born since then are the guilty ones? I don't think so. Yet that said, the apathy and dumbing-down is highly distressing pretty much every day of the week. Sooner or later, it won't matter who is more guilty than who (I mean amongst the populace — we already know that GE-etc. are monsters) if everyone is DEAD.

I remember hearing an idea proposed by a French scientist around 40 years ago. He said incase it in huge solid glass spheres and put it in the deepest ocean trenches. Granted we shouldn't be making any more waste, butdoes anyone think this would be a good idea to get rid of what we have?

Ever since that day 3 years ago,
The world is no longer the same,
    The nuclear power industry,
Is still playing the same game.

    Lives have been lost,
There is no hope to be found,
    Nothing can be done,
Just watching the radionuclides go round and round.

    Every single day,
The Pacific ocean dies a little more,
    West coast Americans,
    Warily watch their shore.

    The radiation is coming,
    There is no solution,
    Some would have you believe,
That’s is just a little more pollution.

    Don’t worry its safe,
    Just a little more pollution,
    No need to worry,
    The ocean will provide dilution.

    The world is our mother,
And we have done a dreadful thing,
    The arrogance of mankind,
Will cause the birds to longer sing.

Phil Donohue was fired from MSNBC in 2003 for being against the Iraq war, after 29 years of success on TV. Cenk Uygur while working at MSNBC was told to not talk about Fukushima. I imagine all of them were told to shut up about it.

Several years ago when the Iraq war was going strong, TIME magazine put out a hard-hitting article about it, with a cover shot that went along with the article. That issue was distributed world-wide, except in the US. We got a cover picture about some entertainer, with an article to go with it.

Society has changed. Mass psychology has been effective. Here is a good example of the deadening effect, the self-centering effect and the general dulling of minds: "Walk on by Britain: Two Little Girls Pretend to be Lost in a Busy Shopping Centre" — http://sorendreier.com/walk-on-by-britain-two-little-girls-pretend-to-be-lost-in-a-busy-shopping-centre/

Perhaps some from here could go to a shopping mall and pretend to be suffering from radioactivity. Would there grow after a while an increasingly empty zone around the two participants? The "selfie" is one of the excretions of this experiment. "Unless it is me why would I take an interest." In the future there will be digital self insertion films where the viewer can place himself/herself in the film in a leading role. It will be so well done by software that friends and relatives will of course be amazed! Old timers can just see film as is.

If we could project an image of the universe onto a poster size piece of cardboard it is doubtful the sun could even be seen with an electron microscope. So the earth is only a tiny little thing in the vastness of space. And I suppose this universe is but one of perhaps an infinite number. Yet every movement on this planet is coordinated with the whole. Nothing happens individually though it may seem that way.
And earth's movements are no doubt registered in other universes. Size is actually meaningless in this context. What transpires in Fukushima Prefecture will thus effect not just this planet or solar system but those in other universes as well. It will matter though aeons may pass before the final reverberations die out.
Only in the phase of scientific materialism has this sort of knowledge been lost. As well as many other things of value.

    Report comment

    • I hear you, Capt. Nemo.

Nothing happens individually. It's all interconnected.

I'd like to take your thought one step further, by turning it inside out. The purpose of the universe is to incubate life on earth, one gamma ray at a time, tweaking with infinite finesse the collective gnome of each of the life forms on our planet.

It was once, such a beautiful machine. Now incapable of overcoming man's folly.

"It was once, such a beautiful machine. Now incapable of overcoming man's folly."

Not to be disagreeable, but it still is a beautiful machine, and I believe that's what Capt Nemo says, also. And it is still working as it always has. The mess will be cleaned up, with humans or without them, and once again might become something that we imagine only in paradisical dreams or the laments of broken cosmologies that cry over the loss yet support violation of the dream. Might the problem be that we have taken on some crusade to change the earth more than locally in environment as beavers or ants might do rather than live within that dream and accept its vagaries with reasonable change of ourselves and the conscious will of our nature? It's one thing to squash a bug beneath one's foot without thought of that bug's place in the overall scheme, but it's quite another to concoct poisons that kill all the bugs with one broad foot. Even then, it seems, the bugs express power to sting that foot and survive as the superweeds and superbugs come to resist our 'solutions'.

The question is not whether we would recognize the earth as it deals with the problem, but whether it will recognize us. The earth just may take the tack of mothers seen in nature when stressed with survival of it or its young. The mother is proof of reproduction, while the young are not. The children are abandoned.

"Nothing in excess" was one moral of the Oracle at Delphi. Quite wise, huh?

Corporations and governments both function similarly and might both be considered either a corporation or a government. It is tempting to regard them as simply collections of individuals working so many hours a week to get a pay check. Very few things could be considered further from the truth. And this is where most persons get lost.

Anyone who has ever been on the periphery of a riot or in one knows the truth. In a riot people lose their individuality and become part of an organism of destruction. The individuals do things they would never even consider doing on their own. The same thing can happen in war in a battle. Or when people work together in a disaster. But there are degrees: a riot being one extreme and cooperative group activity towards a positive goal another.

In a large corporation thousands of people are working toward some goal. Gradually their individual-ness fades into the whole. It is almost imperceptible. People who have morals work for companies that exploit poor nations. They know this and yet they do not know this. This is the undesirable loss of ego. No satori for this one. Blacks in the South experienced this phenomenon via racial prejudice. Imagine guys took girl friends to black necktie parties,i.e.lynchings. Seems fantastic now.

This is happening to the people in Fukushima who constitute a pariah class in Japan now. This is the stuff of demagogues. Politicians and 'change you can believe in'. And come to Jesus revivalists.

The nuclear industry must have many hundreds of trillions of dollars at stake. That is a lot of money even though it is just printed up. They want to pretend and extend, i.e., kick the can down the road for as long as possible. The Oligarchs' power base depends on this game.

The Western Powers depend on nuclear weapons and power. What's more important? The future of mankind means nothing to the Oligarch since they are mostly sociopaths. They lack the capacity for empathy. They have never had the power to destroy the world. Now they do.

We are at a crossroads. Maybe its already too late from WIPPS, Hanford, Fukushima, BP spill, ExxonMobil/BP at Prince Williams Sound, etc. The Oligarchy needs more money and power. Their gluttony will kill us all.

This man does not belong to a gang. He lives by himself in the woods and talks with native Americans now and then. Not long ago a gang wanted to bulldoze his area. But the native Americans said no and meant it. The company sent out some persuaders to change their minds, but they got lost in the forest; and after the natives put a few holes in their bodies just as warnings they left and did not come back. A tribe is not the same as a gang.

No, gang is the correct scientific term. Organization is the appearance and an intellectual screen. What I have in mind is the hidden side of power. The oligarchs in Japan make the important decisions as they always have. Formerly known as shoguns. This is the problem. The shadow government has all the power. Obama gets his orders from them not from any other source. No one is going to put a lot of power in the hands of an inexperienced and not very bright politician. And they do not. Obama would be gone in a flash if he tried something on his own. He is probably the most easily black mailed president in history. For anyone who wants to check, they have a HIGHLY suspect Science Editor at that network, Linda Moulton Howe. I saw her at a symposium in 2012, and as soon as someone brought up HAARP, she chimed right in with, oh, they discontinued that a couple of years back, which she had to know was completely false. She's there posing as a NOT-fascist and an environmentalist, but people are as they do. There was also a "Linda Howe" on the Hatrick Penry FOIA's and I wondered if it was her. The woman's a real b____, and the person who needs to be fired is HER.

He and Chancellor Merkel of Germany are supporting the new gov in Kiev which as I hope you know by now is largely a pro Nazi government. This is a pretty remarkable turn of affairs. But it is a little hard to follow since most of the time the Zionists are rabid about anyone who is even slightly pro Germany of the WWII era. But these Western Ukrainians have a bona fide past of anti Jewish and anti Russian sentiment and action. Yes, you are spot on on your assessment of Pu inhalation, but we can NOT state that to general public or we would have never got any nuke plant off the drawing paper. Also, I myself was one of these dose is dose guys for years. I now fully comprehend dose is not dose when you take into account an uptake. If dose was dose, why are so many of my friends dying or dead from Rocky Flats. So, basically we spread the lie so long that we as professionals even believe it, but hey somebody has got to do the work.
Now what I hear, there was off gassing in panel 7, I heard major VOC's and the bosses were warned. I imagine a lot of it was more than likely Hydrogen. When the fire broke out, the fire system on the truck and a fire extinguisher both failed! They both were serviced by a fire suppression company that isn't very reputable and rumor has it there may have been kickbacks given to keep this lush contract. I was told this company isn't even supposed to be working on these systems as he isn't an authorized service rep by this manufacturer. I looked it up and found this to be a true statement. So, the audit did prove the system didn't work as stated. When the complex shifted into filtration mode, the air flow was greatly slowed and the "believed" result was a type of back Draft explosion

Also I got a tip the seismic equipment has not worked in years and sure enough..There is a lack of reporting on this subject. Now, as far as ground stability is concerned there is as HUGE difference between salt domes like in Houston and the salt the WIPP is built in. These ancient sea beds and layered with clay, iron, ash, etc. NOT like salt domes.. (hint hint) So, the million dollar question for me is : Who kept this fire system company in business and are they going to prosecute them? Why risk workers lives? Fill it full of cement…have we started pumping yet?
I'll look back for questions and answer when I can.

That's why aliens are so interesting, because they scare us. Sorry, not me. I like science fiction stuff, but when they talk about aliens I say nothing could scare me more than Fukushima. Aliens haven't made me change my diet, order KI pills, etc. Alien pussies! Getting kinda boring compared to Fukushima.

Ok, maybe they could talk about intelligent design. Fukushima definitely won't come up. My bets on more talk of that…

    Soon:

Teacher fired for discussing Fukushima with school children….

….parents complained that their children were traumatized by the discussion and many came down with nosebleeds and showed symptoms of leukemia.

This is what we have come to. The truth tellers become the enemy.

What is the point of a civil society if we can't even have frank talks about matters that will affect the human genome for the rest of time?

Not soon friends, but now. Censorship is working around us,with us all around. First their is the social pressure. The silent gulpy looks that indicate "don't talk about that" ,then there are the firings

JBW is an exciting addition to the alturnative media. How sad it will be to me if he continues to go into the easy third slot of social conditioning the easy no brainer area of any third party in this country. It leads people to a nice little corral IF they aren't careful. This philosophy he is espousing is old. More guns, less immigrants and a bunch of other pure crap. He is has been too dramatic in his delivery. He is looking for his marketing niche and has over 10,000 listeners on youtube alone.

So..i hope he keeps on the Fukushima truth path but there is a lot of noise with him for me these days. Some of the things he says boarder on the irresponsible to me.
Especially because he is so popular.

I like C2C its entertainment(when it's not beyond stupid). I like Wells he is entertainment until he's not. Until he is stirring people up with no solutions. etc. Something any popular talk show host has to deal with. I am disappointing he is not who i thought he was. The restraints upon him helped him become as popular as he is. I unsubscribed.

Pretty sure we have way to much main stream media touting everything is Ok and just keep on shopping. These people are destroying the world for future generations and they do not care.

Any voice not supporting such fallacy should be considered a bright light, since most of the stuff on Coast to Coast is on the far outer edge of the minds that listen.

Anyone that discusses Fukushima is good/great in my book…he is gone…so we are back in the Twilight Zone heading for the Outer Limits which is now the normal thought behavior.

in the land of the lies and deceit hypocrisy is king, owned by the practicing psychopath. they promise hope, change and we have changed into hopeless droned mindless beings of the past we were warned against, the Axis Powers.
In the above article you can substitute nuke for privacy and see the correlation clearly, for every privacy protection promise is the same as the promises of the atomic weapons cartels.
The lie without a twitch of a nerve, no lie detectors allowed in dc, for it needs the lie. it is the life blood of the machines.
the code is written in zeros alone, for a lie costs nothing up front.
As the Patriot Act was to liberty, the Privacy Act to come will be the bludgeon of despots bent on the total surveillance system as in a brave new world.
today is again, a day to reflect on the past and remember the damage of the past priests of the lie, the presidents and pretenders promising to end poverty, the lies of the to cheap to meter atoms for peace and the corporation is a person with moral limits above the pursuit of a quick profit for the quarterly report.
i have no false notion anymore that a trip back into history could change the destination of the planet with any significance.
the chapters may be mixed, but the book , beginning to end was written for , by and of the psychopaths of war, famine and the rape and plunder of the planet. nukes are just a…

Here comes..manga with action packed romanticism…

"Laughter and camaraderie fill the rest area, where drinks and food are plentiful but there are no flushing toilets. In one telling scene, an elderly worker says: "This is like going to war." Drawings show the daily routine, different kinds of masks, the layout of the grounds."

Fukushima nuke worker life gets recorded as manga

No comic-book joke, Japanese manga depicts everyday hardships at Fukushima nuclear plant

John B Wells. My fave voice in the late night. Too bad, the higher ups were so short sighted as to fire him.

I really hope people wake up and insist on disclosure. to a LOT of things.

chriscream, we are ignorant to much of what technology is available today, even though we funded it's research. many high level military and govermental whistleblowers have stated that technology could easily be 10,000 levels more advanced what we know of today. since 9/11 there have been 45 + or- executive orders signed that only about 15 are public, another 15 we know the titles of but not the content and the rest, titles and content are not only unknown to us but even to congressional members. we are ruled by laws that are considered too sensitive to national security that we are not allowed to know what they are… transparency? a joke. if news came out tomorrow that bush jr sr obama, clinton and the lot were clones, i would breath a sigh of relief. because the idea that somehow we are the same species make my stomach churn. the sickening psychopathic behaviors of these "officials" could suddenly be grasped and understood. as it stands now, i just rack my brain how or what could cause such disgusting behavior. greed just doesn't climb to the level that these monsters thrive at.

This is the worst case scenario. A triple meltdown next to the Pacific Ocean. I am surprised that the upper management at Tepco are still alive either by suicide or pissed dying Japanese.

The worst SciFi flick could not envision this. A slow death to the world do to radiation poisoning and lack of food due to radiation poisoned land. This is the real end. No more prophecies. This is for real and happening now. Now Obama can use the 1.6B bullets he bought to quell the riots when people find out how screwed we are.

Listened to the interview on YouTube. He actually encourages listeners to do something. We are supposed to passively listen in our free listening zone.
