WUSA Channel 9, Jan. 11, 2014: Wheelchair-Bound Sailor blames radiation exposure at Fukushima […] He served his country, but has his country turned it’s back on him? […] Steve [Simmons] was 33. That’s when life started changing for this U.S. Naval Administrative Officer. It was eight months after Simmons served on the USS Ronald Reagan […] Steve said his list of ailments was puzzling […]  Doctors could not [explain it]. Steve’s leg muscles eventually just gave up, and he’s now confined to a wheelchair to get around […] The Department of Defense says radiation levels were safe, and were the equivalent to less than a month’s exposure to the same natural radiation you pick up from being near rocks, soil and the sun. Steve doesn’t buy that […] [His wife] Summer says they have to face the facts […] Summer says they desperately want to give their three children a home where, after Steve’s gone, they can feel their father’s presence there. […]

Summer Simmons: “I was just in shock […] This has progressed and no one wants to think about their mortality but realistically we don’t know how much time we have left together.”

Lt. j.g. Steve Simmons, U.S. Navy: “I blacked out on Route 50 and drove my truck up on a curb. […] You’re starting to run fevers, your lymph nodes start swelling, you’re having night sweats, you’re getting spastic, and you’re losing sensation in your legs, and you can’t feel your legs when you’re getting 2nd degree burns on them. How do you explain those things? […] As far as the big picture we still don’t have a diagnosis of what this is, still struggling to even get a doctor to acknowledge that radiation had anything to do with it. […] How do you take a ship and place it into a nuclear plume for five plus hours, how do you suck up nuclear contaminated waste into the water filtration system and think for one minute that there’s no health risk to anybody on board?”

Dr. Robert Peter Gale, radiation’s effects expert: “I feel badly about it, but it’s extraordinarily unlikely that it has anything to do with radiation exposure. There’s no toxic agent that we can measure as precise as radiation. It’s very unlikely that the Department of Defense would not have precise data on this.”

The continuity of the structural hierarchy must therefore be maintained at all costs, even to the point of becoming a painfully obvious, 'organized hypocrisy.'

The US military always throws away its soldiers and vets. Before my day it was refusing to honor pensions for WW 1 vets and deliberately exposing soldiers to above ground atomic blasts in the 1950's. In my day it was Viet Nam with Agent Orange and PDSD. Then it was Gulf War 1 and chemical agents, then it was Gulf War 2 and more of the same plus depleted uranium, now it is Afghan/Iraq War Forever with more of the same. We do it any place we go. In this case Japan and radiation.
Our government privatizes profit and socializes the costs of the use of the American military for the use and benefit of international corporations (directly by using corporations as parts of the military such as Blackwater and by purchasing weapons supplies and also indirectly by using our military as their strong arm against other countries/corporations for control of assets such as oil).

I am puzzled. As of 2:50ish, the following poster (socref) = 26/201 posts or 13%

    The amount isn't the issue.

    I listed the time stamps

    1/12 = 4:23, 4:26, 4:27pm

    1/13 = 8:21am, 8:22, 8:23, 8:24, 8:26, 8:27, 8:28, 8:29, 8:31, 8:32, 8:38, 8:39, 8:40, 10:47, 10:48am, 12:17pm, 12:18, 12:48, 12:53, 12:56, 1:07, 1:38pm

He loads up then spews. No one can type that fast unless stuff is already in the pipeline.

Sorry Admin….but I did detect some personal, insulting, rude, and perhaps hateful snippets all from this one poster.

Only at 12:48pm on 1/13 is a link given.

    Just saying……

Hi, Nick ~ Out of curiosity, I too did a tally of the numbers across the board for just one day. The sockpuppet posted rapid-fire comments around the clock with just a few breaks here and there. He jumped from one thread to another, so it may not have been obvious at first glance that this guy was not spending any time with his family, much less refereeing soccer games!

This modus operandi is typical for government and industry shills attempting to discredit and overload legitimate message boards. Most likely they are not even the same person. That terse, nasty comment about the naval officer's illness being psychosomatic didn't even sound like the lengthier, unctuous blather usually posted by "socref."

I am posting this as a warning to the casual reader of this web site. Do NOT be taken in by socref's usually smooth, ostensibly rational demeanor! He is a disinformation agent!

      Nick,

I concur with you data. I spent all of last night, until 3 AM going over what's his face time line, post by post and putting them into an excel spread sheet, going back 2 months. In order to post you would have to read what was said prior to posting accurately. I'm waiting for my wife to come home and help me set up a logic matrix to delineate the time frames, frequency of posts, reading time vs post time, etc. My data format encompasses the past 2 months of posts.

From a cursory look it appears that he/she can type over 85 words per minute. Calculating the act of going from article to article and posting, at 85 wpm, it appears there is more than one entity.

Also the style of writing is inconsistent or someone is drinking too much coffee, at odd hours.

I will know more tomorrow and post my results. I know that Anne and Stock get the most replies.

My apologies ENE admin. for being off subject but I believe more than one person is spamming this site and off topic.
      Peace,

  • We Not They Finally

Robert Peter Gale, the radiation expert who says it is "extraordinarily unlikely" that radiation had anything to do with everyone on that ship who just MYSERIOUSLY, ALL TOGETHER developed alarming symptoms en masse?

Is there any website where it is outed who is hired by who, and who gets grant money from where? It is virtually criminal to say you are an "expert" and come out with the likes of this. Callous indifference to human life, a la psychopathic. These people need to be outed as to their SALARIES and their FUNDING.
