One of the twenty sites is actually 16 bubbling spots.. at one site.. It is by the one they call bubbling 6..

River Bend nuclear power station is 32 miles away from the sinkhole according to map quest. I hope they are taking the necessary precautions but perhaps I'm being overly anxious and this would not pose a problem.

It would swallow up Baton Rouge first. (It's 52.7 miles away, line of sight; 64.2 miles by road, according to Google maps.)
The salt dome is not anywhere near that large.
