Title: Fukushima nuclear waste still leaking into Pacific
Source: RT
Date: Aug 9, 2013

At 3:45 in

Paul Gunter director of the reactor oversight project at Beyond Nuclear: Indications are right now that the reactor structures themselves have been breached.

It’s very likely that some of the radioactive material — the melted cores — have moved into the earth.

So it’s beyond containment right now.

I think that’s the tragedy that we see unfolding as Fukushima’s radioactive water crisis is only beginning. […]

  • Heart of the Rose Heart of the Rose is very likely the melted cores have entered the earth.
I ask that RT..continue to try and catch up..
The corium from all the reactors went into the ground..a LONG TIME AGO.
This current crisis is the failed attempt at a chemical wall to contain the groundwater.

    • CaptD CaptD

Yes, of course you are correct; this is yet another attempt to explain the Fuky Effect, which I have labeled the on and off fissioning which has been ongoing since Fukushima occurred. We are see "new" physics, that is in N☢ way under control, leaving all of US as just spectators, thanks to Japans Utility Gangs that have complete control over the Japanese people, despite what their MSM may say.

Add to this debacle the feeling my some that there was an illegal secret nuke lab "under" Fukushima, which has allowed TEPCO to not only hold the Japanese Gov't hostage but guarantees TEPCO that they will retain control of Fukushima's "cleanup" and profit from it for many decades to come!

    • We Not They Finally

We don't actually KNOW that "this current crisis is a failed attempt at a chemical wall to contain the groundwater." There was a big EARTHQUAKE there last weekend and then the panic began, so more than likely, the new fissioning, or break-through to the surface, was THAT, yes?

I'm unclear why no one seems to be talking about that. The JAPANESE aren't talking about it because if they have to tighten siesmology standards, they won't be able to re-open their nuke plants. But isn't it right in our faces?

How about wall failure do to earthquake..?

        • Heart of the Rose Heart of the Rose

          Also indicated..

          "Allow me to elaborate.

          ARJUN MAKHIJANI: Yes.
Well, you know, they already built this chemical-reinforced wall, and what happened, of course, it's like a dam, so you have water coming in from upstream, above the plant. And then at a certain point, it's going to get — overtop the dam. It's like constant rain coming into a reservoir.

And so that has been the problem, is those defenses have been breached because there's too much water and not enough wall. And at a certain point that's always going to be the case. It seems to me that there's a risk the same thing will happen with this new wall, because they already had a wall and it didn't work. So, building a new and longer wall would work for some time.

The other problem is, of course, you need a massive amount of water to freeze that much soil. It would be a mile-long, apparently. If you have a power failure, another major earthquake — they had a power failure a few months ago when a rat ate through a wire — and that would then be very, very problematic, because now you have got so much water behind.

      repost from 2011;
GE Mk1 reactors the control (hahahaha) rods come up from underneath, as they melted down with the fuel rods there would have been molten corium flowing down through the holes that the control rods pass though into the control rod drive cavity, quite probably enlarging the holes as it flowed. See:
At 2400-2800c corium burns through concrete at the rate of 5cm per hour, and the base of the concrete dry well beneath the pressure vessel is about 8m as far as I can discover (anyone with better knowledge?). The time it would have taken the corium to burn through that thickness is about 160 hours. There are 24 hours in a day so 160 hours is 6.6666 days. There's one for the numerologists amongst us! Debbil's work for sure..
So let's say that after the fuel to start melting following the main cooling system failure during the earthquake (not tsunami, earthquake that fractured the cooling pipes), within about a week the corium would have been into the ground. Providing of course the thermal power of the corium was not exhausted by the concrete as is passed through.

      Anyone have better info/measurements/links?

There has got to be TONS of critical data and information that has been shielded way beyond public access. NRC FOIA documants are very damning in themselves as released, with very heavy redaction at crucial junctures in the communications.

We, the public demand the date and information that has been withheld. Can we petition for that?

Obama said "b-cuz I want you to know what I know as the president…"

Ummm so maybe he's been lied to this whole time? Took a vacation to Hawaii in the midst of a Full-fledged nuclear nightmare going just on the other side of the pacific. Does he know the truth, or had the nuclear mumbojumbo became overwhelming?

We need to send letters, e-mails, call them on the phone… Somebody at the white house has got to give a damn about their children!

Let the truth fly finally. It's wings are ready

Knowing the truth of what has happened and is continuing to happen in japan would send any man or woman running to the deepest darkest cave . Some that know will sit back and wait hoping for some opportunity in death.

However that truth is a danger can not be ran from,.

The custodial staff has been left to run the show. Too many of them hate the "new" work and are getting very "concerned" about their long term job security. Get back on those mops boys.

Yes, AND it is also secondary (though very good that H.P. is doing it.) Americans can't requisition Japanese papers. Not even Japanese can do that!

But love Proton's "we the public demand…" The public has not even figured out how to demand that they don't get poisoned through the food supply!

So far as Obama and Hawaii, it was South America where he took HIS OWN precious family to escape the original radioactive plume coming from Japan. Everyone else's precious family was never told a damn thing. (Apparently in many European countries, people were at least cautioned to stay indoors on certain days.)

Of all the information being withheld from the public, first things first, Where are the Coriums? So we actually don't have that great spy tech we always hear about?

Last I heard they were sampling 40 foot underground finding increasing levels of radioactivity the deeper they go! Coriums Where?

    • We Not They Finally

They can't just DIG. Way too hot. But there is some kind of tech imaging done remotely. Someone else posted about it.

  • Heart of the Rose Heart of the Rose

It's not to hard to understand the cores are underground..
Unit 1 ..loss of containment due to explosion..a given.
    UNit 3…given.
Unit 2..was vented and failed…entering the ground basically whole.
    Unit 4… the SFP burned…
    All materials entering the ground.

    • Proton

"All materials entering the ground" what?!

Understanding is the very last step of 3 very distinct stages of conscious development. Kind of like riding the pine the entire game but still scoring the winning run.

First, you gotta be a good enough hitter to get atbats.

Second you gotta hit the damn ball safely or reach base on some technicality. (slim to none odds for homers in this game sorry.)

Third, You gotta touch home plate, be declared safe, and of course, amongst the cheering and ass slapping, throw something upward…

So easy to want to forget.

Hi PattieB … thank you, you beat me to it ! … has your friend stayed clear of the evil monkeys(Yakuza)? … a special thanks to you and your friend … $$POD$$

        • We Not They Finally

Very interesting link, PattieB. And astounding what is still being called "buildings." Like here's the containment lid from building 4 on the left, and you look all the way to the left and see what looks like the smashed remains of the metal lid of a Mason jar! Interesting that they call it "the Argentina Syndrome" instead of the China Syndrome, since I guess that's where it would emerge on the other side of the world. Also interesting that they talked of METHANE exploding from deep in the ground. We get so fixated on what happened ABOVE ground, that we forget that unsettling what is deep in the ground is itself very dangerous. (Note BP disaster in the Gulf and the cover-ups about drilling into the seabed.)

But all that said, that article with detailed photos with it was from June, 2011. I think that people want to know if/how any tech imaging has been done about where the coriums are, closer to NOW. What is also of current interest is the exact impact of EARTHQUAKES(which obviously come from beneath the ground) on the coriums — does it move them, does it set off re-criticalities, what happens?

Because it seems clear that that recent earthquake in Japan, last weekend, followed immediately by radiation spiking 50-fold, has to be be RELATED, yes??

The Japnese gov/TEPCO don't even want to TALK about earthquakes, obviously. If earthquakes mattered, then they would have to re-enforcce their existing nuke plants seismologically before re-starting them…

          • We Not They Finally

…. (God forbid. I mean about re-starting the nuke plants.) But anything you might offer about what this last earthquake DID regarding the coriums, would be read and much appreciated. Thanks, PattieB.

      Yes..I mis-spoke.

But of course..but what goes up..some portion must come down or remain.
      So what cha say..
      Unit 1 40% remained?
      Unit I said..all.

      Unit 3 ya..some blew out..lots..
But from all the 'steaming' and after watching so much material fall back to the ground..seems some percentage remained.

Unit 4..well..every now and then someone..PattieB..posts a picture of corium flowing over the side.

But then the whole mess is connected by a piping system that is connected to the CSFP as well.

      The 'pit' lives.

      • We Not They Finally

zardoz2012, America would NOT love to have the Japanese and their "beautiful culture" living here. It would be an act of mercy, yes, and one that should have been extended ALL over the world in the wake of this. (Instead, a lawsuit to evacuate the children was literally thrown out of court in Japan.)

But by now, the burden of medical care alone from taking in a VERY ill population, would drain AMERICA; then no one would say that it's a "beautiful" thing. And no, NOT saying that that is good — not saying that at all. Just that America has NO IDEA and will be finding out the hard way. We all may have breathed in "our share" of plutonium particles alone by now.

Even now, they SHOULD EVACUATE northern Japan. But they obviously care more about the Nikkei Index than they do about their own people.

that the US is seeking for decades, just not inside the US.

          • Cologne Cathedral Cologne Cathedral

Pretty harsh words and common sense should never be discarded.

We all are living in the real world now.. and sadly it is "what it is".

Many Japanese people's health will suffer long into the future.

You forget there will be many, many more Nuclear Meltdowns affecting billions of people worldwide in the near future and do you suppose that the Americans can take care of all of them?

The problem for America is that many of their own Nuclear Power Plants are ready to "melt down" too as I type this…

Best course of action is to shut them all down now and do it quickly!

History always repeats itself and yes the Nuclear Industry already has a running track record and history.

            • Cologne Cathedral Cologne Cathedral

Do not forget that we are all just slaves.
They pay us and they let us bleed out, if they want to.

Every fourth child is suffering hunger,
not because we can't feed it,
but it is our way to say sorry, not wanted.

Thus it does not matter, if the Japanese life here,
or in Japan. They get payed, if THEY print some cotton
and they starve from hunger if they don't.

But this is genocide. It is a crime.

              So, WNTF is not correct.

And if THEY would care about common sense,
there would be no black and no hispanic in the US,
and there would be no muslim in Europe.

But they don't care about common sense.

Racism has always been a taught paradigm and recently a forced upon paradigm by those that can benefit from its use.

Now lots of us are bat-shit crazy, but then "we are all one" none the less.

Liver needs the kidney just like we all need each other…

                  • Enlite2.0

Understanding someone has an intrinsic value regardless of our perception of it, allows that someone to thrive and contribute. Why would someone under siege for the mere right to exist – work for the best of the overall?

Most of history has been about one conquered nationality after another fighting for its right to exist and thrive. It's sibling rivalry in action, to watch the constant jostling for power between 'races'.

Ideology and belief systems are learned behaviors. Beliefs can change. But when the only proof you have that you should be allowed to exist is in ideology- why would you let that go?

I want a nuclear free world; I believe nuclear power is a threat to my existence. In this, I am dogmatic and 'bat shit crazy' to those who disagree. 🙂

studying this video the scientist speaks about the methane-clutter

well…what happens if the corium even made contact with that?

    • We Not They Finally

Yes. METHANE. Even PattieB's previous link to the June, 2011 article explaining about the melt-throughs and the coriums, mentioned METHANE as a liability for expliosions. It's a HUGE ongoing liability in the Gulf too, since they drilled right into the seabed and risked (ongoing!) a "methane volcano."

Code Blue!! The patient is bleeding out!!!

I'm trying to understand the leaking radioactive water. Do we think the groundwater is flowing over/though some of the coriums and this is what's leaking/hemorrhaging into the ocean? And this is one of the big things they don't want to admit?

They want us to think the cooling water is leaking from the structures because that's not as scarey?

    • We Not They Finally

"NeverAnyDanger" (cute), they've admitted already by now that 1,000 tons of water PER DAY (and they always lowball) is pouring into the plant. They just (in their last phony estimate) said that only 300 tons of that PER DAY is hitting the ocean as contaminated water. Which makes no sense as there was no place else the water COULD go. The storage tanks are not only full, but they are UNSOUND — pieced together from parts left over at defunct factories and not even built to resist corrosion.

Even Noah was smart enough not to say look, it's only a sprinkle. Let's go to work on that nifty invention called "an umbrella."

Here's the comment I posted on Forbes.

This article is Bananas !!! Total Corporate Propaganda !!! The truth is, Fukushima was bad and now it’s worse, here’s why. Tepco stupidly built an underground dam to try to stop the contaminated water before it reached the ocean, but the dam raised the ground water level under the reactors which is destabilizing the foundations of the buildings. All they need now is a medium size earthquake to shake the soggy ground under the reactors and “presto” LIQUEFACTION !!! The reactor buildings will fall down and all the spent fuel in the Spent Fuel Pools will burn in the open atmosphere. That will be the end of not only Tokyo but all of Japan and South Korea but more importantly to you corporate types, is it will be the end of your stock portfolios.

I am pretty sure the Pacific Ocean is now in the process of continual contact with the Nuclear cores.

The Earth and rock strata breaths in and out with the ocean tide/tidal waves.

The water will always permeate under these plants and contact these radioactive cores and then bleed back into the Pacific Ocean habitat/ecosystem.

This ongoing Pacific Ocean Radiation Contamination Process will now continue on for an eternity.

The radiation is now leaking everywhere like a sieve from the top, sides, bottom, air.

The GOOD thing is that people's survival instincts foster adaptation. We're just over-the-line with this one. While economies and cultures will collapse over the burden of mass illness alone. People should read the Hopis, the Red Road Prophecies. It speaks of untenable breakdown of society, deformed children, and people in cities so in despair that they off themselves in groups.

The only bright spot there (though some might think it HUGE) is that it also speaks of help from "our brothers from the stars" and constructively de-coding the mysteries of genetics so that some can be spared. It is ASTOUNDING as well, that ancient spiritual voices could possibly KNOW what was coming.

    The Geology of Fukushima

At a time when everyone is wondering where the coriums of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant may be, it is interesting to know the nature of the terrain where they could possibly be hiding. Although all documents used to write this article are readily available, most are in Japanese and this explains that to date knowledge of the geology of Fukushima is fragmented. Based on the geological survey that was conducted prior to building the plant, as well as on results of seismic testing and recent research related to drilling, this article will attempt to give an updated picture of the nature of the substratum of the nuclear plant, which may help to predict possible developments in the currently unfolding disaster.

The only time a doctor makes any money is if a human walks through the door.

More humans walking through the door equates to more profits. Whether its a test tube virus purposefully created and/or some other created/contrived event like a Nuclear meltdown.

All these people are all laughing all the way to the bank.

The same with energy, since profits are only rendered if you use what they produce and sell to you. GE on the hand creates the problem via a nuclear meltdown and then sells their solution via their medical equipment division to the medical community, who then charges you massive/excess fees to repair/combat the original damage they caused to our human bodies.

This is the why for the requests of 80 year Nuclear Power Plant operating extensions.

I could not have written a better business plan and then we dumb Americans buy stock in their planned/created death trap/machine/plans .

    What a wonderful Zeitgeist.

    • We Not They Finally

"We dumb Americans" (you say) did NOT buy their stock! The military budget invested in this. If we knew everything else the Pentagon invested in, we'd be horrified.

      • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Do you pay taxes to the US government?

Then you bought their stock my friend.

Its a very very large circle and business plan and we Americans are all participants in it!

        Like it or not!

        • AntonButler

Yes pay your dollars tax to the USA treasury,
and give God what is his,
          which is :
obeying 10 easy commands, do not kill etc.
          THis includes by nuclear power.
WHY IS THE USA GOVERNMENT and its 1? million agents
which any kids on the planet 7 years old understand?.

The only time a mechanic makes any money is if and when your car enters their shop.

Its all really pretty simple to see how things actually work once you unplug from this created matrix!

Anyone buying an American made car say 40 years ago understands this repair profit business plan/concept very clearly.

Most companies want to make money at both ends of the spectrum and they do.

Some call this "conspiracy thinking" and they would be correct and we are all surrounded by millions of conspiring people on a daily basis.

To conspire appears now to be the norm inside our newly created "human way" of life and our current living Zeitgeist Matrix..

    • Discordian

You're absolutely right, Obewan. And humanity will not be free until we question, reject, and disobey this paradigm. Or until we all become enlightened.

The very worst they can do to us through medicine, government, and environmental poisoning is to kill us off. And as far as my limited understanding of spirituality goes, that will just set one free.

Have you heard about the term separation of church and state?

This allows the state to do what ever it wants too, to whom ever it wants too, anytime it wants too.

This is called Freedom..don't you know!

Pay your taxes now or end up like Wesley…can you taste your Freedom!

  • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

I sometimes wish I had not taken the "Red Pill".

  • AntonButler

Separation of State and Church does not mean,
discard Gods word by the State.
The 20 century was grim, I am in Europe.
The 21st is bad also, Iraq, Afghanistan,Syria,Libya, Egypt,
    Fukushima,Japan after only 12 years.
What about the next 88 years?
I probably will not be here in 2100…
    Wesley for president then….
Better idea, why don't they just stick a chimpanzee monkey in the White house.
He can not do much damage, we can send him some peanuts from England too.

  • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Well I am pretty sure the words were discarded a very long time ago and that these words you talk about are now only pulled or tugged on when its convenient and appropriate to do so.

The illusion created is purposeful and always full of hope and part and parcel of your personally designed and created Zeitgeist.

The only person/entity looking down at you from up above these days is your own government…

    Louis Armstrong revisited 2013
I see dead trees not green…….. wilted red roses too
I see’em glown'….. for me and for you
And I think to myself…. three corium meltdowns in this world.

I see skies no longer blue….. radioactive contrails of white
Blight forested days….dark scary looter nights
And I think to myself …..we screw up this world.

The Plutonium colors of a rainbow… dirty the sky

Showing fear on the faces…..of people … ready to die

I see friends hands shaking…..saying’.. it happened to you too

    They’re really saying’……TEPCO screwed… me and you.

I hear what looks like babies cry…… I watch them glow
They’ll never learn more…..than I’ll never know
And I think to myself …..what a nucleated world

    (instrumental break)

The colors of a rainbow… longer pretty the sky

Seeing fear on the faces…..of people in ambulances ..going by
I see friends hands shaking…..saying’…you got Parkinson's too
They’re really sayin’…TEPCO radiated……

I hear deformed babies cry…… I watch them glow

You know their never gonna learn
A whole less than I’ll never get to know

And I think to myself …..this was once a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself …….what a Nuclear polluted world.

Its like any government contract to build a bridge where the lowest bid wins.

The bidding contracting company knows there is no way they can do it for the (5) million they bid but they are awarded the contract anyways. Soon that same company is whining and complaining that they need more money and/or they can't/will not finish the bridge. Of course they conspired and knew this all along but its not their money its the tax payers money and trough and they will get more.

This is the same thing with the Nuclear Industry and its not their money, its once again the tax payer's trough money, given in the form of subsidies and/or citizen energy rate payments.

Its all our money and if it blows/melts down its still going to be all our money to clean it up!

What a clever system of deceit and massive "nuclear death web" we have all allowed to be woven directly around all of us..
