Reuters, Dec. 29, 2013: SPECIAL REPORT- Japan’s homeless recruited for murky Fukushima clean-up [...] Some say better homeless than going into debt by working [...] Gangsters run Fukushima labour brokers [...] Sendai, the biggest city in the disaster zone, has emerged as a hiring hub for homeless men. Many work [...] cleaning up radioactive hotspots [...] Seiji Sasa, 67 [recruits] homeless men at the Sendai train station to work in the nuclear cleanup. [...] homeless men ended up in debt after fees for food and housing were deducted, police say. [...] a shelter funded by the city [...] sent other homeless men to work for him [...] 55-year-old homeless [...] worker’s paystub, reviewed by Reuters, showed charges for food, accommodation and laundry were docked from his monthly pay equivalent to about $1,500, leaving him with $10 [...] The problem of workers running themselves into debt is widespread.

Kenichi Sayama, general manager at subcontractor Fujisai: “If you don’t get involved (with gangs), you’re not going to get enough workers [...] The construction industry is 90 percent run by gangs.”

Yasuhiro Aoki, Baptist pastor and homeless advocate: “Many homeless people are just put into dormitories, and the fees for lodging and food are automatically docked from their wages [...] Then at the end of the month, they’re left with no pay at all.”

Shizuya Nishiyama, 57 years old: He now sleeps on a cardboard box in Sendai Station [...] [For decontamination work, an employer] offered him $90 a day [...] he was made to pay as much as $50 a day for food and lodging. He also was not paid on the days he was unable to work [but] would still be charged for room and board. He decided he was better off living on the street than going into debt. “We’re an easy target for recruiters [...] if we haven’t eaten, they offer to find us a job.”

Mr. Anand Grover, Esq., United Nations Special Rapporteur, published Oct. 24, 2013: (at 15:30 in) “These workers told me, ‘Do you know we are actually living in a shanty town?’ I can show you the photographs — literally on the pavement, in the non-used pavement between the railway station there were plastic huts where people were living, in Japan, in Tokyo — not Bombay. It actually astounded me that these things were happening. Then they told me that people come take them, give them ‘X’ amount of money [...] They’re ready to go into the fire and die. Other people are not ready to do it.”

      This exploitation is not shocking. The concept of guilt, and absolute evil or good is only a Northern European concept. The rest of the world (Asia and Russia, etc.) operates on a different moral code in reality. The code is simple – if you can successfully rip off somebody's ideas or other assets, or exploit them somehow and get rich, without being arrested or punished – then you committed a morally acceptable and justifiable act. If you get caught, arrested or punished – then you committed a bad deed. This is The Reality.

        This exploitation is shocking. Asians and especially China have been led. by the philosophies of Laotse. They have been peaceful.

        It has been the Britih Empire and later on the US Empire, that went mad. Abslute evil is an american concept, as you can see in the 911 event.

        It's not just that the US subdue the whole world, It is that they export their corrupted system all over the world.

        You are right with your statement, that only who got caught can be arrested. You forget to say, that it is the "US Ambassador" (literally speaking, there are other channels) that says, who's going to be arrested, and what victims will be payed compensation.

        I have been a victim, I was not compensated, thus I now fight your fucking empire!!!

                Let me guess what will happen during that following 100 years:

                Black people will come from Afrika to the US and fight you for the slavery in the 19th century, People from south America will fight you for the dictatorships during the 70th and 80th of the 20th century, Chinese People will fight you for the millions that died during communism, led by OSS trained Mao, People from Germany and Russia will kill you for the deaths of their grandfathers, and muslims will kill you for the 3 million dead muslims since 911. They will beat, rape and kill you.

                Is these the words you understand?

I also get this vibe of racial tension and a superiority complex, and the majority of your posts I've read make no scientific and/or logical sense, and a large number are not even decipherable. Beyond this I will no longer reply to you because I have better things to do and constructive things to discuss.

                  I apologize ENEnews, I promise to drop this here as I felt after that last one I should say something. @ charlie3 below me- I really don't think by 2020 there's going to be an Olympics taking place there…long before that the IOC will move it elsewhere. I give it a 99% probability that by that time at the very least, the world won't be buying anything from Japan let alone travelling there.

And these racial tensions you got a vibe of, are real, as this world is racial divided. Thus it would be clever to let it be racial divided, but the elite of the USA don't want to be the "western world" to be racial divided. This is a failure and you will agree to these words one day. Today you are to brainwashed to understand what i am telling you, thus it is better for you to stop listening as it confuses you, and you think you have better and more constructive things to do. And, little US soldier,

                    do you want to know why your f' empire is sinking? I tell you.

                    People like me (I am male german) don't fuck women, as we don't want to pay for the children, especially as f' US-Soldiers.

                    Thus an average german academic-civilised women has 1,0 children.

                    But you have millions of children of migrated families. In germany these families are the barbarian (means uncivilised) children of turks, arabs, north-african muslims, russians, albanians.

                    Unfotunately the US thinks it doesn't need intelligant people in it's colonies (like Germany). But that's wrong.

                    One fine day, perhaps 2100, your US leadership will find out, that it would've ben fine to have some intelligent peolpe within it's staring empire. But that will be too late. To be honest: It's too late today, already.

                    is that not only the german don't fuck for US-Soldiers any longer. The Japanese do the same. And all over your f' colonies the birth rate is sinking. That's the same with Japan.

                    Let me be quite clearly:
                    Everyone outside the US wants to see the US Empire sinking after 100 years of it's f' leadership and thus it will be sinking.

                    And I don't think we will be too polite.

You simply know, that the US is good and multiculture is good … , as so many people told you, this would be true, and you know you get recompensed, if you repeat the words.

                  But let's come back to the issue. I am not a native speaker. But I know you can decipher my words. When you have other opinions, that is your choise.

    The problem with the website advising duct tape and plastic (although they hedge their bet a bit and say wait until you know for sure?) is that duck and cover was/is a strategy for a nuclear bomb fallout cloud…not a nuclear plant that is out of control sending up more than a bomb's worth of fallout every day (or hour).

    The Northern Hemisphere winds and Pacific water loaded with toxic Fukushima fallout never ends now. It is worse at times when the three missing coriums or 5 spent fuel ponds burp, but generally it is just a steady flow.

    Having said that…plastic is pretty much useless since you have to go out and work, take care of pets, go to the store, etc…

    Duck and cover tactics are not relevant anymore unless we get a sudden news release that a super plume is headed here. The recent steam releases are not on a scale of the June 10th, 2011 emissions we all saw here on Fuku1live video. Or two dozen other days.

    Sheltering in place is wonderful maybe for retired billionaires although the smartest ones have already relocated their families far south…maybe the Tonga islands.

    The best advice that I can offer in place of duck and cover is to always carry an umbrella, and don't go fishing, swimming, whale watching (or anywhere near spray of the Pacific Ocean). Buy bottled water and imported food from the Southern Hemisphere or locally if your area is below 600 CPM. You might last longer than the deceased manager of the Fukushima plant. RIP.

    I'm experiencing technical problems so I'm not able to reply next to your comment. (The system keeps asking me to "log in to reply" on page one of this article).

    - First of all I had never heard of Turner Radio Network. I got to it through Before It's News, I think (certainly not a very reliable site, but not 100% bad).

    I looked at the other articles posted on Turner Radio Network. Nothing to ring alarms. The same that's posted on most alternative sites. The article heading seemed somewhat hysterical, but that's not unusual either. Home page says it's under new management. Whatever that means.

    - The idea of MASKS was not new, because Arnie Gundersen – a well respected voice by readers on this site – was quoted on Enenews saying that people in the west coast should have been using them when the first big radioactive wave hit us in 2011.

    - YOU WRITE: "Are you a troll? That's the kind of post a troll would make, just to make people suffer. Or a mentally ill person, a sadist. Please, be careful about what you say. You can and do hurt people with stuff like that. If it's not true, it's just irresponsible to repeat it."

    - Troll? Mentally ill? Sadist? Etc?

    HoTaters, your personal attacks – particularly after your demanding restraint and adherence to truth in what we post here – are completely uncalled for.

      So this new post is in regards to the link to the TRN article I posted on page one that was derided as alarmist. That may be so.

      http://beforeitsnews.com/earthquakes/2013/12/why-a-west-coast-alert-is-mandatory-video-2483172.html

      ~~~~~~~~~~
      The BIN article that Markww posted refers to the TRN article they had quoted which said "possible onslaught of dangerous atmospheric radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster site in Japan." Possible, not definite – says BIN – because even TEPCO cannot enter to see if a meltdown is occurring…"
      So it's all speculations at the moment. Some would say that it's better to prepare for the worst than wait for definite scientific proof. Events may overtake all scientific attempts at getting such definite proof.
