like the ICRP curve (linear), the curves are useless unless you define the radiation source, its form and its absorption route, along with factors like exposure windows, age, gender, organ and more. Thus your arguments do nothing to prop up your simplistic and unsubstantiated position, even if you invoke the names of Sternglass or others. In fact, thats the whole point, a point that seems lost to you despite years of patient explanation. Here it is, one more time; its not fair or accurate to group all radioactive sources under the simplistic category of ionizing radiation and place them on a single exposure graph and model. Especially true when comparing nuclear fallout to background radiation, the second being your highest radiation exposure source. That you cant grasp and endlessly argue against it, does not bode well for your acumen

11/92 interview with Dr. Ernest J. Sternglass, author of Secret Fallout

“We know–and have long known–that radiation, especially strontium-90, goes to the bone and irradiates the bone marrow where the white cells are always formed that are the policeman in the body. If you weaken the police force and the cancers rise and new viruses come in, there are no defenses against them….

“…because it concentrates in the organs, chemically. In other words, strontium, instead of being uniformly distributed throughout the tissue, all goes to the bone. So it irradiates bone marrow extremely efficiently and that has never happened before from natural sources. So the internal doses from strontium-90 and iodine-131 are really devastating us. And it's just as true for releases from Rancho Seco and from all the reactors–all the doses they always mention that are so low–first of all they're not so low, they are generally in the few millirem range–but the dose to the bone marrow of a baby could be a hundred times greater because of the chemical composition and the concentration and the fact that the newly developing infant uses up and takes up the strontium so fast….”

I had a good friend who did from Leukemia, and its likely that in part or in whole, this is because of some fallout from Fukushima. I know that dose is far far lower than her intrinsic radiation, and doesnt fit on any dose response graph. We all absorbed hot particles and some got to her bones and she died. So your continued arguments against me are nothing but an irritant. I dont care about your graphs and what you think someone said, Sternglass or other. You have proven that if you cant follow my statements and misconstrue nearly all of them, you certainly arent up to following the Sternglass or any technical or logical approach. So you can stop the wallpaper now if you like. For all my efforts to point out the failed dose schemes, the failed simplistic categorizations, and your wallpaper tyranny; and in memory of my friend, a dead example of this inability of people to think straight, I hold you in a kind of contempt. Sorry, thats how it is.

[Natural News] Allow me to be the first to announce that TED is dead. Why? Because the group that organizes so-called "TED talks" has been thoroughly hijacked by corporate junk science and now openly rejects any talks about GMOs, food as medicine, or even the subject of how food can help prevent behavioral disorders in children. All these areas of discussion are now red-flagged from being presented on any TED stage.

As President Barack Obama winds down his second term, he leaves the United States of America mired in a profound constitutional crisis.

          • Every executive order that he signed is now null and void.

          • Every international treaty that he signed is null and void.

          • Every piece of legislation that he signed is null and void.

Simply put, the sitting POTUS failed to legally fulfill the most basic qualification to run for the highest office in the land. More importantly, a number of serious felonies were committed to successfully attain the Office of the President.

There will be severe consequences to go all around. And President-elect Trump is bound by law — especially by the relevant federal statutes — to have the FBI and DOJ fully investigate and prosecute these crimes against the American people.

Denies C02 as climate change problem? He might have a point. The whole solar system has been warming…something going on there. C02 LAGS temperature changes. We are at nearly the lowest level of atmospheric C02 when looking at geological history. Temperatures have leveled off and there is great debate over accuracy of those temperature changes indicating warming. Man released C02 is less than 4% of total C02 which total is only 3% of the greenhouse effect, so a factor of 0.0015 or 0.15% man caused effect. I personally keep an open mind on this subject

AGR uses the conspiracy theory meme? Ugh! Iatrogenic deaths far outnumber gun violence. Suicide is nearly half the cause of gun death. Abstract:

It is well known that selected organisms can offer an easy tool for radioactive pollution 'signal', whereas the radiological impact of the pollution event can also be early approached by the appropriate selection of the organism-bioindicator. The nomination of an organism as bioindicator for a radionuclide is more complicated if compared with the stable isotopes even the biochemical behaviour is the same. The physical half-life of the radionuclides interferes to the ecological retention/elimination time and gives another parameter, the effective half-life, which defines the integrated activity concentration of radionuclide in the organism considered. Nevertheless, absolute activity concentration, concentration factor in relation to sea-water and the effective half-life of a radionuclide are the parameters, which can be used for the selection of organism-sentinels of radioactive pollution in aquatic ecosystems. In the present study the selection of some aquatic organisms as bioindicators for radioacaesium (137Cs ± 134Cs) pollution warning in marine and freshwater environment in Greece are evaluated, in relation to the ecological and the radiological impact assessment, as well, based on a bulk of activity concentration measurements on marine and freshwater biota, during the period 1984-1989. The Chernobyl influence to the Greek aquatic environment was also interpretated in consideration to the organisms response to the pollution event.

I am well aware of studies that show human health is adversely affected by even extremely small amounts of radiation. If you haven't read similar studies, I urge you to inform yourself across the entire spectrum of available studies, rather than through the opinion filter of your advisers.

I also know that as radioactive waste indelibly accumulates, ubiquitously polluting our resources for the foreseeable future, you are faced with a moral decision. Either increase allowable levels of radioactive poison to flow through our water supply, our bodies, and all life on earth, or from your point of view, increase costs.

Short-sighted "savings," would necessitate increasing the allowable radioactive limits on an ever increasing sliding scale due to dozens of medical facilities, college experimental labs, nuclear power plants, or terrorist "events" annually. But consider the consequent health industry costs. Consider the costs to government from radioactive dumbing-down of citizens. Consider a mutated world, not just one with a reduced population.

By lowering drinking water standards, you become an enabler of disintegrating nuclear power plant infrastructure to predictably fail without the consequence of shutting them down, yet, I'm sure you're aware they are already operating beyond their life expectancies. Not only that, next there will be the inevitable increased cost of shutting them down after, compared to before, disaster.

Consider Turkey Point in Miami. The water supplies of surrounding communities is now or will soon be breached by radioactive Tritium.  Oh, you've read studies that gloss over Nuclear Power Plant releases RE: cancer? Read further!

Cancer clusters: Alan Farago, President of the Society of the Everglades, reports on statistical studies by Dr Raid Amin, of the University of West Florida, identifying a pediatric cancer cluster in South Florida including Miami. The Florida Department of Health has not recognised the cluster, validated independently by other statisticians.

This problem will not be solved by making humans radioactive water filters. DO NOT DO THIS TO US…TO EARTH! It is NOT cost effective to poison us.  Protect us, as is the EPA mandate! Do not increase radioactivity in our water by increasing the allowable limit.

Thus the ingestion argument, while true, does not explain the difference in toxicity. It does not explain why mainstream science is wrong on the toxicology of radiation. Instead of realizing this simple point, so many anti nukers will refuse to acknowledge the data and call those who investigate it pro nuke shills. Such is the level of intelligence which makes the pro nuke job a cake walk

First 'recognized' case of thyroid cancer in Japan due to Fukushima –
"A man who worked at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan during the disastrous 2011 meltdown has had his thyroid cancer recognized as work-related. The case prompted the government to finally determine its position on post-disaster compensation.
The unnamed man, said to be in his 40s, worked at several nuclear power plants between 1992 and 2012 as an employee of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. He was present at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant during the March 11, 2011 meltdown. Three years after the disaster, he was diagnosed with thyroid gland cancer, which the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare confirmed on Friday as stemming from exposure to radiation."

Am a single mum with two kids to take care of. My name is Linda,am from Canada.for the pass 7 months I have been in a financial mess, A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine told me about how Mr Steve Wayne helped her by granting her a loan with a low interest rate of 3% and better repayment schedule. She also told me they can help me out of my financial crisis too. I never believed her, because I have been to different Banks/private loan lenders who could not help me due to my poor credit scores. She advised me,and I give a try, so I mailed them via Email(stevewayneloancompany440@gmail.com), and explained all about my financial situation to them, they took me through the loan process and granted me a loan of $250,000USD on 15th of November as I have applied for,and today I have a business of my own which I’m proud of and I can as also take care of my kids bills and some other things as well. all i did was to follow the terms and condition's of the loan. I’m so happy I did. I’m sharing this today because I care about you all, I known how it feels to be in a financial mess, and i don't want anyone to fall in the hand of those fake lenders, who claims to be genuine, I can never stop thanking them for their help.because Mr Steve Wayne Loan Company really showed me light when others abandoned me, I’ll keep telling the world about their kindness in my life, If you must contact any private lender,i will advice you to kindly contact Mr Steve Wayne for your loan,Thank you all

Please. Clarification please from the following statement regarding the core in R4

.."However, it is obvious that the most dangerous situation was in the pond of unit 4, into which the whole core had been unloaded for maintenance work in the reactor". What does this mean? The core unloaded? So it was where during the accident? Out of containment?

It is no secret that the Unit 4 reactor core was removed and placed in the Unit 4 spent fuel pool while Unit 4 reactor was undergoing a shroud replacement. The stainless steel shroud replacement was near completion when the great quake struck.

Unit 4's pool was meant to only hold so many fuel assemblies and was overloaded when 4's reactor core was being temporarily stored for the construction work. The extra weight caused the spent fuel to weaken during the quake and a few months afterwards, TEPCO had to reinforce the bottom of the pool from underneath to ensure the pool would not fail.

Eventually 4's spent fuel pool was unload and emptied. Obviously, 4's reactor core was already empty when the great quake struck.

That's the official propaganda. But there is evidence that they had started reloading fuel into the containment vessel from the equipment pool. So there was new MOX already in the containment vessel when the 9.0 earthquake hit.

“…My logical deduction back then – and since confirmed by leaks and official disclosures – was that Reactor 4 had been recently loaded with fresh fuel rods in preparation for start-up on March 12. Its planned operation was kept secret and unscheduled, and therefore had to be linked to illegal enrichment of weapons-grade uranium for the purpose of making nuclear warheads.

“In contrast to the official story about hydrogen, the timeline of those initial days indicates a reverse chain of cause and effect: A nuclear blast inside Reactor 4 created enough heat to set its spent-fuel pool on fire, and also intensified the neutron bombardment against a degraded Reactor 3, which exploded in a mushroom cloud on the next day, March 15. That huge explosion, in turn, re-ignited the Reactor 4 spent-fuel fire. These synergistic high-energy nuclear events did not constitute a classical chain reaction, for if complete fission had occurred an area many times larger than Nagasaki would have been leveled. Instead of a single nuclear explosion, the Fukushima crisis is a protracted series of nuclear events, unleashing a Pandora's Box of troubles onto the world.

“My appraisal during last year's meltdowns led to the conclusion that melt-downs of fuel rods would quickly burn through core-reactor shrouds, the steel containment chambers beneath, and then the concrete-block footing.

The consequences were obvious then, though not to the corps of nuclear engineers: That the corium would tunnel into the landfill of rock and sand, and on contact with water release enough high-pressure steam to create a sinkhole under each reactor. Huge vents of steam, as reported by nuclear workers, have since blown out through the ground surface.

“The unstable landfill would eventually become too weak to support the combined weight of the reactors, spent-fuel pools, ferroconcrete structures and all the water being pumped inside The inevitable result is a collapse into a sinkhole, after which recovery of intact fuel rods would be impossible….”

The chopper pilots (shades of Chernobyl) during the vain attempt to dump water on the melted cores and spent fuel pools, reported seeing neutron beams emitting from Unit 3. Neutrons beams implies fission taking place. Now Unit 3, no one can get near it because the surrounding area has been energized and is radioactive from neutron bombardment. Unit 4 had visitors touring that spent fuel pool up until the time they began building the auxiliary building for assembly removal. So I see no evidence of Unit 4 being energized by neutrons or fallout. At least not the way Unit 3 is.

Divers were still onsite and just finishing up 4's shroud replacement and fled the site after the great quake struck. I don't see how they were ready to reload 4's refurbished core at that point.

Reports to the Congressional committee were preliminarily and sketchy due to TEPCO hiding the facts. After an US military nuke response team arrived onsite to find 3 reactor containments lost, did they pack up and leave but only after Unit 2's side panel mysteriously went missing and a concrete pumper truck was ordered to be delivered onsite with due haste.

If the pools were steaming then rods were still being cooled. Overheated rods, probably. Rods catching fire, probably not.

Unit 3 obviously launched fallout high into the sky. Just ask the sailors of the USS Reagan flotilla. So far, looks like 3's lid inspection hatch failed allowing fuel pieces to escape during the explosion.

Intense neutron beams were reported from unit 4, just cant find the paper now. An inconvenient truth; unit four found in Europe

It is shown which information can be extracted from the monitoring of radionuclides emitted from the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant and transported to Europe. In this part the focus will be on the analysis of the concentration ratios. While (131)I, (134)Cs and (137)Cs were reported by most stations, other detected radionuclides, reported by some, are (95)Nb, (129m)Te, (132)Te, (132)I, (136)Cs and (140)La. From their activity ratios a mean burn-up of 26.7 GWd/t of the fuel from which they originated is estimated. Based on these data, inventories of radionuclides present at the time of the accident are calculated. The caesium activity ratios indicate emissions from the core of unit 4 which had been unloaded into the fuel storage pool prior to the accident.

Later reports from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission speculated that fuel could have been ejected from the Unit 4 spent fuel pond during this explosion.[12] Later on the morning of 15 March, at 09:40, the Unit 4 spent fuel pool caught fire, likely releasing radioactive contamination from the fuel stored there

At 17:48 it was reported that water in the spent fuel pool might be boiling.[22][23] By 21:13 on 15 March, radiation inside the Unit 4 control room prevented workers from staying there permanently.

On 11 June, it was discovered that the water level in the spent fuel pool was only one third of normal, and only part of the fuel rods were covered with water.

Hajimi Motujuku, a spokesman for Tokyo Electric Power, or TEPCO, said the outer housing of the containment vessel at the No. 4 unit at the complex caught fire.

On Tuesday, a fire broke out in the same reactor's fuel storage pond – an area where used nuclear fuel is kept cool – causing radioactivity to be released into the atmosphere. http://www.3news.co.nz/Japan-to-spray-water-acid-on-Fukushima-nuclear-plant/tabid/417/articleID/202578/Default.aspx#ixzz33DXqq7vY

It is interesting to make some simple calculations. For example, the SFP will daily lose 2 tons of water when the SFP temperature is at 40 C. The water loss would increase to 86 tons when the SFP temperature reaches 87.5 C, which means that such an evaporation rate would take away all the decay heat of SPF4 without reaching the boiling temperature.

That NewHub article is as clear as mud. Usually you only have radioiodine released during uncontained fission.

To start releasing old cesiums from spent fuel rods, you need a rupture of the casing. Wonder how they put out any zirc fire.

Units 1,2&4 seem more of a localized event affecting the surrounding area except for in the begging unit 2's core leaking to Pacific Ocean.

I would like to see if 1,2&3 melts could account for the total release of all the fallout involved including new fission products i.e. mainly from Unit 3's melt.

If Unit 4 was releasing fallout from pellets then I bet so was Dani and a few other nuke sites that they will never admit to.

I read that if uranium and plutonium signatures were inventoried during production then they could trace any sample back to the original manufactured rods and pellets. That would include samples found anywhere in the world and samples taken from humans.

Wouldn't that be something to prove your cancer causing agent matched with your sample and inventory signatures.

why Troys theory of unit4 melt is untenable. Ooof
Well he conjectures that Mox fuel melted from the equipment pool, down and out, was gold corium which turned black.
So first we can see the pool holds water very well meaning no melt through.
Second, you have to look at the geometry. The path he draws in his video makes it seem like the corium would drop a long ways down and only a little ways over. The reverse is true. The pool was suspended just above the melt out floor, so actual path would be about 12 feet down and 40 feet over. IF corium was hot enough to melt down through many feet of pool wall, it would have gone more or less straight down through each floor, and definately not rolling across a floor with a bunch of debris in the way and then blast out side ways.
Speaking of which..the melt wasnt a melt, it was a mighty blast. It is at least conspicuous that a panel on the exact opposite side of the building also blew out, suggesting a steam blast wave that went out of the two ends of a condenser unit.
The gold stuff, if you actually look at it, appears to be rags of gold colored fabric or insulation material, not quaking steaming lava like corium. It has what appear to be curved tubes in it. Those could be U tubes from a condenser. At first I thought the gold to black stuff could be copper, melted copper. But when you look at the blast trail, you see this gold material far away that does not turn black. Meanwhile, back at the slump, you see the black stuff is…

                Report comment

                • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

the supposed black corium is not anywhere near the form of the gold and white material. There is a lot more of it and it flows over the 8ft pipe. This suggests a SECONDARY flow of different material. This black stuff is probably all kinds char and soot and fire extinguishing stuff from the fires and explosions, washed out when they poured water on the place and put out fires. it washed out and covered the gold rag like material. Elsewhere in the blast trail, the gold and white maintain their color.
Steam…we looked at the temperature of the corium and interaction with concrete and the place would have been a steamin hell hole. Paint would be ignited/charred, concrete spritzing galling and steaming.

Then you have the question of removal. We estimated the volume and consequent weight. A HUGE quantity of stuff. If that was corium, then it must be damn easy and safe to scoop it up and throw it away.

Then the IR photos. There isnt a single IR photo that shows heat at that location. Open to the air, no water covering, huge mass of corium with no IR? Case closed. Sorry Troy, but at least you had the courage and creativity to make a scenario…

I've received so many hate messages from or-well, I can't see he would mind. The really sad thing is that hate just hurts the person with that emotion.

Now he can write a poem of rejoicing, but hate never brings joy to anyone.

bo once said that even or-well was against me as if or-well is such a nice person, I must be the worst person on the earth if even he was writing me hate messages.

                      It just destroys the website.

And Jesus said that the world would hate anyone who loves Him. So it is not unexpected. It just identifies someone who is 100% tied tot he world.

obviously hate is not the right word. Just plain fed up, as any reasonably intelligent person would be. He was just the person with enough unrestrained gumption to tell it straight out. It isnt like this same message didnt come from several others. Playing the victim/martyr while simultaneously dragging every solid poster through the endless mudd of bafflegab WARRANTS a rebuke, an evincive objurgation free of binignant hypocrisy.

This paper from Stohl has been posted many times. While razzz maintains that all fuel from unit four was unloaded and hence unit four was NOT part of the Fukushima radiation release, this paper makes it clear there WAS radioactive release from unit 4. This observation from Stohl is proven by fallout collected many thousands of miles away that had isotope ratios which were traced to unit four. Another conspicous event is the utter destruction of the building! Moreover, FOIA documents put the highest release of inventory from unit four. Now how anybody could ignore, time and again, the body of evidence and insist that unit four was a complete success in removal and storage of fuel really boggles the mind. I can actually feel the tension in my neurons as they stretch to comprehend this position. Careful administration of alcohol and yogic breathing exercises are required to avoid long term nerve damage.

" Our results indicate that 137Cs emissions peaked on 14–15 March but were generally high from 12 until 19 March, when they suddenly dropped by orders of magnitude at the time when spraying of water on the spent-fuel pool of unit 4 started. This indicates that emissions may not have originated only from the damaged reactor cores, but also from the spent-fuel pool of unit 4"

I said 'razzz maintains that all fuel from unit four was unloaded and hence unit four was NOT part of the Fukushima radiation release, this paper makes it clear there WAS radioactive release from unit 4.' So I made the effort many times to show the evidence of huge releases from unit four which is a very significant factor in the Fukushima catastrophe! If you agree with razzz, I suggest you review the facts presented. Thanks

R4 fuel to be placed in R4, on 3/11, was likely stored in the maintenance fuel pool, adjacent to the reactor (#4).

There was discussion about this here when the R4 spent fuel pool was supposed to have been emptied. There are two fuel pools with each reactor at FDNPP, with the possible exception of R5 and R6.

For R1 – R4, there is a maintenance fuel pool, used to load and unload fuel bundles from the core, and a spent fuel pool.

There were several photos, schematics, and photos documenting the fuel pool positions inside the reactor buildings for R1 – R4 posted here.

R5 and R6 share a common spent fuel pool. Perhaps someone else can provide the configuration for R5-R6 and the common spent fuel pool near those two reactors.

Ahead of us we have the possible destruction of forests, vital in maintaining oxygen levels necessary for life, in the control of carbon dioxide, and in water cycle balances. Notably, the concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere has dropped from 35 to 21 percent from prehistoric times to now, and the carbon dioxide has increased in part by the human growth pollution in cities with high oxygen levels, which often comprises only 15 percent of total air.

The abuse of forests and pollution of the oceans has caused them to produce only half the oxygen (they produced) 10,000 years ago. We must also consider that in the last 30 years this process has accelerated the deterioration or the collapse of almost all living systems.

Dangerously low levels of oxygen are now being reported in cities around the world.  Increased carbon dioxide levels are displacing oxygen in the atmosphere.

    Extinction Calculus – R=(I x P)

Millions of hectares of trees (billions and billions of trees) which produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide are being lost (and then burning up, releasing their stored carbon into the atmosphere).

Oceans are now saturated and acidic, having absorbed all the carbon dioxide they can (leaving the remaining in the atmosphere).

Burning fossil fuels destroys on average 3 oxygen molecules for each carbon dioxide molecule produced.  All this is causing alarming oxygen level drops. How alarming?  Some cities are down to just 15%, far lower then safety standards dictate.
If the oxygen level in such an environment falls below 19.5% it is oxygen deficient, putting occupants of the confined space at risk of losing consciousness and death.

Closed spaces are key here, apparently, as lower oxygen levels then this are already being detected over our cities.

Simple self-test: do you notice 'more' exhaust fumes while driving or other noxious smalls fumes or smells? It's not 'more', it's less O2.

The removal of Scripp's Dr. Ralph Kneeling from the internet..

Monitoring oxygen levels around the world is Keeling’s job. According to the data Keeling has meticulously collected since 1989 the world is running out of breathable air—and the rate that it’s losing oxygen is now on the verge of accelerating.

Keeling created the famous ‘Keeling Curve,’ a graph that extrapolates the current trend of the oxygen depletion in the atmosphere.

Normal oxygen levels are pegged at 21%. If cities are experiencing a 15% level, that’s a 33% lower oxygen level then normal! And yet even lower oxygen levels are being predicted as the pace of fossil fuel burning, deforestation, ocean saturation and forest fires increased.

The following bio on Kneeling can lead you to some of his work. I found the better reports are gone. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.

This issue of global oxygen levels is being grossly ignored at our own peril.

'We won't be able to change the oxygen level in any significant way. At any rate, you see that the oxygen level couldn't have decreased by more than 0.01% or so, from 20.95% to 20.94%, which is pretty much exactly what was observed. We needed centuries or millenia to achieve this modest "goal'.'…………………………………………..http://motls.blogspot.com/2008/08/oxygen-crisis.html

So, in what city is this happening?

We can talk about pressure density if you like.

We can talk about why gases do not stratify, and why Co2 and O2 don't just hug the ground and H2 and He don't disappear to the heavens. Rest assured they do not, and it IS a huge problem for me and my profession.

Breathing or being in an atmosphere of increased O2% is dangerous, and stupid for the un-trained/qualified. Unless you like burning like a roman candle. Not good for the lungs as well, we call it 'burned lung'(no fire), too much/long is not good.

Go through any tunnel with bumper to bumper cars spewing exhaust while burning all available oxygen present and at a stand still and you will have a very hard time breathing.

These may seem like they are only local isolated events but all events start to add up on the bigger planetary scale.

Mankind is having a huge negative impact on this planet's survival.

Earthsmith, I have discomfort breathing in hot and humid conditions. Hard to say how many things influence our sense of breathing comfort. When the lungs become compromised by chemicals like formaldehyde or ozone, feelings of suffocation can occur with slight changes in atmospheric conditions. Oddly, I dont feel bad at altitude.

carbon monoxide reduces the amount of oxygen carried by hemoglobin. Nitrogen oxides, when combined with volatile organic compounds, form ground-level ozone, or smog. Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides react with precipitation, oxygen, and other substances in the atmosphere to form acid rain. Exposure to high industrial levels of nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide can cause collapse, rapid burning and swelling of tissues difficult breathing, throat spasms, and fluid build-up in the lungs. It can interfere with the blood's ability to carry oxygen through the body, causing headache, fatigue, dizziness, and a blue color to the skin and lips.

genetic mutations, damage a developing fetus, permanent lung damage. Industrial exposure to nitric oxide can cause unconsciousness, vomiting, mental confusion, and damage to the teeth.

Long-term exposure to nitrogen oxides in smog can trigger serious respiratory problems, including damage to lung tissue and reduction in lung function. Exposure to low levels of nitrogen oxides in smog can irritate the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. It can cause coughing, shortness of breath, fatigue, and nausea.

Obama's legacy- When he gained power in 08, the shipping terminals here at Coos Bay Oregon that had been mostly dormant, started shipping timber logs, and chipped logs to Asia, there was 2 terminals, and has increased to 3 terminals, I really like the loggers here, great strong culture, but the forest that's being cut down is enormous, and again it started as soon as Obama ( The horror of Obama ) perfected the art of propaganda. The dark side of consciousness can use Charm to put a light spell on people. Then there's the Clintons that went to Columbia to make a deal to have a large area of tropical forest clear cut on the pacific coast of Columbia. Then we come to the state of Oregon selling off currently the Elliott forest to private co's that will harvest, miles of forest, I live very close to So. end of intended clear cut, also people needing cash have been selling off timber on there property .

Interesting that if you read about the Stat's Elliott forest, that the sale generating cash for the school fund, which includes services, who knows where that cash ends up? The sale is because china isn't buying much timber now, That can't be true because the terminals have been shipping more and more consistently, I think the best way to generate cash is to be a do gooder and say it's for the school/children. I worry about the loss of oxygen as well.

Change that, there is actually 4 timber shipping terminals here, 2 for logs,2for wood chip for paper. The reason logging clear cuts everything is because small trees get in the way of extracting the logs, and say it's alright to do it because the forest animals have available some forest bordering the clear cut to go ans live, how considerate to be a do gooder, sarc. Will we ever have responsible people ?

Great. Curious to know how the mechanism of adsorption of heavy metals works & is described chemically.

Once this mechanism is chemically defined and described (in biochemistry terms) in your hypothesis, stock, you'll have the basis of a world-class theory.

Others have likely laid the groundwork for that description & no doubt have published their findings in scientific studies. It's great that you described how biofilms, chitin, peat (for example) sequester heavy metals.

Researchers in the Lyme disease community have long held that Lyme biofilms sequester mercury inside the host's body. When the biofilms are destroyed, for example, by antibiotics, the sequestered mercury is released, wreaking chemical havoc & worsens the Jarisch-Herxheimer or "here" die-off reaction. Maybe why my Lyme doc said to take Chitin supplements.

How can your hypothesis be tested? In a lab study setting, or how has our biosphere to modeled a "living lab" ?

The preponderance of evidence to support your hypothesis is likely already apparent in nature. Continue to quantify what you describe to solidify your hypothesis. So it will satisfy requirements of the scientific method, and stand up to scrutiny in the scientific community.

You have synthesized a LOT of information and the conclusion appears brilliant. Code's input on use of biomass as an ion exchange medium is brilliant, too, imho. Can apply its use to my own situation, too.

Hotaters, I was looking for reasons why cesium, which is considered totally soluble, therefor dilute, could cause the biological damage, considering it is of very low concentration. It occurred to me that there might be biological analogs of the ion exchange media they use to isolate cesium and other fallout for testing purposes. That search led to chitin. The fact that they use just that for sopping up nuke waste, and also the biomagnifaction factor in chitin organisms is proof of the effect.

That is only part of the story. Much of it awaits scientific discovery. Ionic and voltage gradients are known determinants of morphogenesis…the shape of organisms. We think of deformation as being a genetic defect, yet if genes code for the shape of things, how is actually carried out? Science has found several different mechanisms, among which are these ionic and voltage gradients.

We have wondered if this isnt true on the smallest of scales where the high radioactivity inherent to nuclear fallout at the atomic level could cause cell disruption. The highly structured water-electrolyte gives a clue; there is an orderly molecular thick onion like structure, rather loosely bound. The water;electrolyte bonds with proteins. It is hypothesized to be an information carrier, forming complex geometry, extensions of the 'firmer' cell structures. The polar quality of water with a large degree of freedom in bond angles gives rise to this extension effect.

Rick, do you have the clear written authority to order an evacuation of a populated area?

If not, is there a clear process, and a team that votes on an evacuation decision, who is this team?

What penalties are there for nuclear operators who do not promptly report a release or even worse, try to cover it up completely?

Does the 80% shutdown of the EPA radiation monitoring system (purportedly because it was hard to transmit data via cell phone) affect your ability to assess releases and take appropriate shelter in place, or evacuation orders?

Does the recent revelation of the silencing and firing of the head researcher at the EPA on low dose radiation, who informed congress on information that exceeded what the administration wanted, have a chilling effect on information flow / whistle blowing at the NRC?

The problem,as I see it, is simple.

The free press is no longer free. When the powers that be own the media, they no longer receive vital feedback from the rest of the world. They own the media, the media prints what TPTB wants them to. The media cheer and go along with them because that is what they are paid to do.

The VALUE of the general population's wisdom is not appreciated. The one percent live in their own bubble, wake up in the morning and read their own created news and insanely believe it is positive feedback.

Fox news, as has been pointed out, is an entertainment industry and can lie. That has been settled in the courts. Just an example.

The one percent do not recognize value as an independent property in and of itself. They gauge value only on increasing greenbacks in their pockets short-term.

The nuclear industry is the best example of throwing good money after bad.

That the republicans and their deregulation are coming back is scary. Deregulation only works for a wise people who have some measure of self control and appreciation for true value, like solar, wind, etc etc.

The only thing scarier is Hillary in power. She told her friends about the danger of Fukushima radiation fallout, but not the public. The public has no value to her. She is rich now, she can go ahead and switch to republican party.

Ron Paul was treated by the media as an idiot, while true idiots were raised as examples of wisdom. That's been a while back now,…

All joking aside, technical analysis of markets is my expertise, in fact I have invented several methods that are 100% my own and far more effective than anything out there. As I perfected this, the 2008 crisis came, and I kept trading my systems….losing several hundred thousand until I realized that "they" had taken over the entire financial system, included manipulating entire markets, often through futures. Bernanke admitted to this, hedging his statement with…we don't manipulate all the markets at one time.

I stopped trading as the system was broke, in fact they were gaming the system against the smart guys who understood how a natural system would work. they would create a "technical signal" let it start moving the way it should, let the tech traders get their money committed and then blow the shite out of the system, forcing heavy losses on the "smart guys" and giving heavy money to the inside guys, Goldman and their ilk.

I will send you a link to my trading blog which still exists and has untold valuable information. My joking comment was "if you put incredibly valuable information on the net for free….no one will take it or listen to it, they consider free to be worthless"

Quite a few delusions going on here. It would not be the first time people confused Unit 4 with Unit 3, happened in many news reports.

Setting fire to a zirc (tube) laying in a tray is a bit disingenuous than decay heat causing zirc clad fuel rods to heat up and react to moisture in the air or in this case saltwater causing hydrogen production esp. when you can't get near the fuel rods.

Bouncing radiation off of water molecules in the atmosphere near ground level takes special conditions to energize its surroundings.

Concrete pumper truck was refilling 4's spent fuel pool with borated water, that doesn't lend itself to fires in the pool weeks or months later.

Saltwater used for emergency cooling created multiple elements not usually associated with nuclear power reactor meltdowns.

Spent fuel pools at Units 1,2&3 are still unapproachable but the 'deadly' Unit 4 spent fuel pool has its fuel rods removed and is now empty.

    Reality is a bitch.

The noble gas releases from Fukushima, Some implications and reflections.

The following suggest that Xe-133 was spread evenly in the atmosphere resulting in a very even distribution of Xe-133 observed by the IMS network a few weeks after the accident. All stations in the northern hemisphere measured very similar concentrations.

    1. How can gas distribute itself evenly over such vast spaces?

    2. Is Xe-133 a 'cold gas'?

    3. The global saturation on page 2 depicts almost the whole world being overcome by Xe-133 WEEKS after initial accident. Why is this?

The noble gas detection systems responded very well to the impact of the Fukushima radiation releases. Apart from the very first samples measured at the IMS station in Takasaki, Japan, (the station located closest to the Fukushima Daiichi power plant which was hit by the largest concentrations of radionuclides), it was possible to use the data generated by the station to obtain accurate concentration values – even at such high levels – after appropriate corrections had been made.

5 Pages, includes photo of noble gas system

I am seeking answers to any 'cold' gas release from FD.

there sure was a lot of xenon. It diffuses readily. They use if for medical diagnostics. They say its completely safe for patients but doctors have to take precautions, and that no long term studies have been done to determine if its toxic!

"Xenon Xe 133 is a readily diffusible gas which is neither utilized nor produced by the body. It passes through cell membranes, freely exchanges between blood and tissue, and tends to concentrate more in body fat than in blood, plasma, water or protein solutions. In the concentrations recommended for diagnostic studies, it is physiologically inactive. Inhaled Xenon Xe 133 Gas will enter the alveolar wall and the pulmonary venous circulation via capillaries. Most of the Xenon Xe 133 Gas that enters the circulation from a single breath is returned to the lungs and exhaled after a single pass through the peripheral circulation.

Xe-133 from a nuclear accident is vastly different than Xe-133 being used in a clinical controlled environment for medical purposes. The gas is minute and mixed with about 95% CO2.

The link in my post above, on page 2, shows Earth being saturated with Xe-133 from the Fukushima accident. Hence my question concerning gases from the accident. Although I am just getting started, I feel the this mega amount of Xe-133 has something to do with our rapid decline of planetary oxygen. And maybe other issues.

I have in my procession Praxair's report on gases and oxygen depletion.
If the oxygen concentration in air decreases or, if the concentration of any other gases increase, a situation is rapidly reached where the risks of asphyxiation are significant. For this reason any depletion of oxygen below 21 % must be treated with concern.

133 Xe, artificial, is one of the fission products of both 235U and 239Pu, and therefore used as indicators of nuclear explosions.

"TEPCO planned to begin removing 566 spent nuclear fuel assemblies in the storage pool in January 2018. However, the government and the plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co., decided on the postponement, sources said on Dec. 22. They will decide on a new timetable in a few weeks.

The work was initially scheduled for fiscal 2015, but had been pushed back because of high radiation readings in and around the No. 3 reactor building. The building was heavily damaged by a hydrogen explosion in the days following the disaster, triggered by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami."

"Radiation levels have now dropped as almost all of wreckage at the site has been cleared, TEPCO said. The government and TEPCO have said fuel retrieval at the No. 1 and No. 2 reactor buildings will start in fiscal 2020 or later."
      2020?! Lol!

To bad we haven't had better leadership for the past 8, or 16, or 24 or ? years.

"I would have to agree that a major economic downturn is quite likely in the very near future. We have been on the greatest debt binge in history during the Obama years, and it is inevitable that this bubble will burst.

Donald Trump basically has two choices. He could try to prolong this debt bubble for as long as possible, but that would make the ultimate outcome even worse. Or he could try to deal with the crisis right away, but that would mean an extraordinary amount of pain for all of us.

No matter who won the election, we were going to have to deal with the consequences of decades of incredibly foolish decisions sooner or later.

Let us certainly hope for the best, but without a doubt those that are preparing for challenging times ahead are showing incredible wisdom, and this includes both liberals and conservatives."

It has been snowing here for about 3 weeks, cold and hazardous.
      Always be ready.

Yes, incredibly foolish decisions are baked-in with the guarantee that the people must pay for the fiasco until the end of time. Thus, the course for the unborn is set.

I wonder…how much of the debt is owned by poor people? How much by rich investors and mega corporations lifting themselves by the publics boot straps? Making money on debt is a ponzi scheme. The U.S. owes about as much money to China as China does to the U.S. What would happen if you erased that debt on both sides? Would the common man suffer?

Countries will need to 'wean' themselves off of the income stream.
The socialist 'state owned' oil will be difficult, as there can be much dependence on/for the support of a nation.

      1 Saudi Arabia
      2 Russia
      3 Kuwait
      4 Iran
      5 Iraq
      6 Nigeria
      7 United Arab Emirates
      8 Angola
      9 Venezuela
      10 Norway
      11 Canada
      12 Mexico
      13 Kazakhstan
      14 Qatar
      15 Libya
      16 Algeria
      17 Azerbaijan
      18 Colombia
      19 Oman
      20 United Kingdom
      And plenty more.

"Many scholars see the natural resource wealth in some countries as a natural resource blessing, while in others it has been referred to as a natural resource curse. A vast body of resource curse literature has studied the role of governance regimes, legal frameworks and political risk in building an economy based on natural resource exploitation. However, whether it is seen as a blessing or a curse, the recent political decisions regarding the future of petroleum production in many countries were given an extractivist direction, thus also granting a status quo to the exploitation of natural resources."

This will be a monumental transition. Money, food, gov entitlement programs,,,countries like Norway have huge dependence. Others even more

Has been to bring America to it's knees, so they can take control.

No wonder Japan placed so much value in the USA's (ala Clinton) promise to buy their radioactive food without testing. The EU is testing all of the food coming in. To be fair, all food is tested, via spot checks on 5% of it. That is quite a bit of cost in testing
