Description: On 26 Nov 2011, I measured radiation in front of a junior high school in Namie town, Fukushima pref. Japan (Tsushima junior high school)
The monitorinig place is 32 km from Fukushima Nuclear power plant. And the road closed point of Route 114. The whole Namie town is “Evacuation zone”. All the habitants left here. The monitor indicates 5.81 micro Sievert per hour in air at chest hight, 65.17 on road side sand, ground level. Japanese private insurers decide to decline renewing insurance policies for Daiichi plant, which could make any work on the plant illegal, since nuclear plants in Japan by law must be privately insured for everything except for natural disasters (earthquake, tsunami, etc, which the government covers).
