In meltdown, Japan dodged even bigger disaster, CBS News, Dec. 2, 2011:
It turned out that the disaster at Japan’s Fukushima Dai-ichi power plant was much worse than was first thought [Newscaster actually says "was much worse than we thought"]. [...]
A new report revealed that molten nuclear fuel burned through the 8-foot concrete walls of the first protective casing surrounding the reactor’s core, and then ate 3/4 of the way through the second casing.
The meltdown stopped within a foot of the container’s steel bottom [...]
If it had burned through, it would have contaminated the ground water and the soil. No one knows how far it would have spread. [...]

I agree stating that the corium has stopped, etc and then in a few months we will hear TEPCO admit that it has it ground water or god forbid a hydrovolcanic explosion will blow the truth around the planet. I wish I could trust TEPCO as they have first hand info but at this juncture they will have to disclose a lot more in a timely manner but that’s like waiting for santa to come down the chimney.

Correction. Fukushima Daichi is China Syndrome x 3 + Reactor #4 also adding to the insanity.
Also, we must all remember that if the site deteriorates further they may be forced to evacuate the plant completely. Then who will attempt to continue cooling the destroyed reactors and what of #5 and #6. Then also what about Fukushima Daini which is a mere 10km away or so. If they must evacuate completely then Daini will likely deteriorate.

Maybe probably possibly could might be there may exist some sort of disaster burning into the ground at fukushima we think and if it is happening we might cover it up to confirm it months later just in case something could be burning down if there was an emergency to report that is. We can not tell you exactly that there is something happening, but we can exactly tell you that it is nothing to worry about and that you can all go back to your normal lives now and possibly maybe worry later because we don’t know or won’t admit to it until after the entire country is dead and gone later…maybe.

3/11 Tepco announced some possible shaking and maybe a little wetness around the edges of some structures at its shaken but well maintained state of the art electricity producing facilities. Tepco has also reassured us that even though they have declared a state of emergency due to several small but very powerful safety valves being initiated to release the roofs and walls of possibly some structures at the extreme quake,tsunami ravaged,natural disaster stricken,worst possible event hitting our high tech facilities with public safety as the key target for TEPCO, it is only a precaution with safety at the top of our list and with no short term implications to the public and our valuable customers.
I was a sceptic before this! As you can see for yourself with your own eyes the above comments from TEPCO. These normal procedures and safety precautions are nothing to be concerned about and your well being was always the priority for all Nuclear technology companies, not just TEPCO. Hope that’s sorted it out for you?

However I think you might be experiencing a bit of a diversionary Fukucam editing.
I saw the videos of the fire in the crane and I suspect that was something placed there to throw everyone off from the obvious nuke fire blazing next to unit #3.

I love how these reports keep saying “if the fuel had gone all the way through before it stopped”…they have already admitted they don’t know where the fucking fuel is! And…has anyone read Igor Kostin’s book on Chernobyl? He said that people stood on the bridge to watch the “pretty colors” from the reactor fire… hmmm… (and then they died…)

They keep saying how it stopped just a few inches before burning all the way through–It’s like a movie where the hero manages to de-fuse the bomb with just one second left on the clock.
But I think these reporters have no idea how massive (many, many tons) and how hot (in the 1000s of degrees) the molten blobs would be. Add gravity into the mix, and it’s simply naive to believe that it just suddenly (and permanently) stopped in the nick of time).
It’s not just naive; it’s irresponsible and gives people a false sense of security.

On March 12, they said – “if the fuel gets too hot it will be disaster, but they kept it cool with seawater, so no problem” then BOOM
Then later they said “if the fuel breached the RPV – that would be a disaster” but it didn’t, so no problem.
Then later they said, “if the fuel gets out of the containment – that would be a disaster” but it didn’t , so no problem.
Now they say, “if the fuel exited the building – that would be a disaster”, but it didn’t, so no problem.
See a trend here?

I know it’s far away but for example there used to be a jeddi that went out into the ocean that is no longer visible. There also buildings in front of the reactor building that no longer appear to be there. And judging by where the ocean appears to be it looks like it’s right up on the reactor buildings.

CBS is woefully lacking any detail of substance in this report. They reported way to many facts already known and presented them as “new evidence” while saying “almost broke containment”. God damn it we knew it broken containment in the first few months. There were additional fission events this report failed to show the public as well. We know what Xenon does it causes cancer and breaks down into more hot particles with stable long term effects. They are ignoring known science giving it 2 minutes of air time every 2 weeks. Americans are going to feel the pain from this China Syndrome soon enough. Xenon clouds are rolling in to new areas of Japan and decaying right on top of the population. I do not doubt that Xenon gas will be found in other countries soon if the winds carry the gas across the sea. If it decays in flight it will land as cesium and strontium for all the planet. If it already landed in Peru then we have a global scale of isotopes landing everywhere. I do hope the dear mayor comes to our humble site here. He may learn something.

As far as TEPCO releasing info goes, some of you may remember this, they stated back in May (I think) that they would only release information when they think people are ready to hear said information. I think the fact that we are hugely screwed will be brought to light but only after the PTB decide we are ready to be told……
