Title: Bayou Corne Update
Source: Louisiana Public Broadcasting
Author: Shauna Sanford
Date: Jan. 11, 2013
At 4:45 in
Nick Romero, Bayou Corne Resident: We could have that whole sinkhole become no telling how big.
Then the other thing you don’t know is whenever it starts moving, how many more of these natural gas and oil reserves are going to be exposed.
It’s a lot of stuff and it’s not like you can go out there and start backing up a bunch of dump trucks and start dumping soil in it and you’re going to fill up the hole.

i like it or-well. minimilistic, with so much unsaid, yet potent with so much more

Yes, it's a genuine master piece, reduced to the bare essence, leaves room for interpretation, provokes the curiosity and fantasy of the reader, holistic in it's approach…
When you start to think about it, it condenses all the vast amount of information this web site had to offer over nearly two years into a handy and clearly arranged form and does not overstrain the casual visitor seeking for orientation or overburden the hard-pressed for time. Well done, or-well!

an exquisite review m a x l i. a real pearl my friend.
can you write my resume?
(i'm writing through tears of laughter, so well enjoyed).

If it was anywhere close to exquisite, than only thanks to team work, while you made the bigger contribution. You are the more brainy one, because I didn't take or-well's post for what it is, first time reading it – before you said it. I had a good laugh, too. Thanks, richard!

They're stumped and they know it…..just can't admit it. Louisiana, Mississippi and most of florida will be under water in 45 years or less

Along those lines…
Bayou Corne sinks!
Then Louisiana!
But it's less radioactive than a banana!
In rushes the Gulf!
North water tears!
But it's less radioactive than flying in air!
"No imminent threat.",
says Hand-washing DC,
as there's nothing left needing recovery.
"New fishing grounds for Arkansas shrimpers!",
so say the lets-pincushion-Earth pimpers.

@FREEDOMROX Breaking update..Office of Conservation Orders Accelerated Bayou Corne Stability Assessment Schedule
"Under the amended directive, Texas Brine will be required to use the 3-D seismic survey process to assess the area around the sinkhole and provide the information from that process to the Office of Conservation for analysis by April 21. The information obtained will help agencies on the ground ensure the continued safety of the people in the area and help determine the problems caused by Texas Brine’s failed cavern.
The new directive replaces the portion of Conservation’s December 2012 directive requiring the drilling of two 6,000-foot geotechnical wells"
LOL!!! Right you are…

"The design of the PERMANENT containment berm is progressing well and permit applications have been submitted for its routing. Surveying, soil bore sampling and selected tree removal is expected to begin next week."
Notice the word permanent.. not going away, not going to be fixed, will continue……….

Hey Cat. Yeah, LDNR really didn't have a choice, since many of us have the goods on them. As for the Berms? Pure BS! As the “stinkhole” subsides, this will last as long as a fart in a whirlwind. This is just a placation measure.
I also note they talk of the Baker Hughes VSP from Sept. 25, 2010, which should have been the basis for a warning to the residents that the cavern could fail. LDNR and TEXAS BRINE COVERED this VSP up until just recently. I have downloaded it and it screams “Cavern Failure Imminent”! Jerks!
Also, if you read my last article, APPJ President Martin Triche has many Conflicts of Interest hanging out in the wind. So, it is time for APPJ to clean up their act, LDNR and Texas Brine to jointly buy out the Residents for BOTH their parts in this VSP CoverUp!

Sometime…just sometimes, when things come together and you scream how stupid an idea is, (2 deep boreholes), and the reasons behind the insipidity o it….sometimes, they listen.
