    Ummm….If this is really recent I would say this is not the last of these images well be seeing as the radiation continues to be expelled from Japan.

    Or

    Could it be older and just presented now to make a stir with all of the radiation issues?

    I bet these facilities conduct emergency drills periodically for contamination in the event of a radiological or bio attack or disaster, etc.

    Oh Wait…. We did have a radiological event so this could be legit and things are only going to get worse….!

    If you listen to the main stream news they consistently say “Things are bad, Oh wait not that bad, Oh its safe, No wait… Its bad…. and on and on….

    This usually is a sign that things are worse than they can even describe…..

    This creates a lot of confusion and keeps people off guard to the truth…..

      Whoa… Look at that… OR, WA, CA, ID…. Pretty much the front lines here in the U.S right now concerning this disaster. But it will spread to the East Coast eventually.

      These number are quite frightening in the truth they tell.

      Folks the radiation is here and there is no denying it!

      I live in the backyard of Oak Ridge TN so I am not surprised to see some elevated levels here. We have sooo many cancer deaths in the TN Valley area that doesn’t get reported. Of course they wouldn’t want to hurt the image of ORNL.

    This looks fake.The guy in the Tyvek suit is holding a 1960s Civil defense giegor counter you can buy on e-bay for around $30. It would be useless for detecting low level radiation in water.

      Gee I have a Chem suit looks just like those but is blue. They are what you use in the real world . I have a CDV Model 720 Survey meter Thats what we use in the real world. Could be fake but the level of 2 rads a hour here in Denver is pretty real to me. If it gets hot I will be happy to walk around like a Blue Man Group member. Should see a climb in Rads and then a drop as half lie is reached but Still getting heavy radiation. If the levels here dont drop soon we are screwed.

    What really strikes me about Fukushima is that the ‘authorities’ involved are TEPCO, GE, the NRC, France and other so called experts and their combined response is to leave the meltdowns and criticalities open to the sky to do the maximum amount of damage to Japan. It has been known since Chernobyl that the only way meltdowns stop is by fusing sand and the melted fuel rods into a vitreous lava. Perhaps if they just stopped with their garden hoses the thing would melt into the ground and vitrify but it would be so much healthier for the planet to dump a mountain of sand on the mess. Are they intentionally destroying humanity? They sure set their dirty bomb up with all the known perpetrators in the militarized nuclear mafia collaborating on it.

      I believe the challenge they face is all the debris that is in the way and the mounds on top of the reactors, those reactors are under the pools, Stories under, way under, then they are in or partially in the containers ? Covering them would only crate pockets where air and gasses could grow, such as hydrogen.
      They need to get under these reactors to lay a coolant and may water proof, the water table is just under the area and like Chernobyl, if those melting lava of nukes hit water they would for ever be polluting the water table and the oceans.

    Okay- everyone is a little panicked and possibly in denial that these videos are real, but as one person said, this may be the equipment supplied to them because they have never needed to use this stuff before. Think of it this way, the plants are all from the 1970′s so why would radiation equipment be updated. This is new territory people. Even the monitor in the Fukushima plant only went up to 9,999. That’s why they originally reported the readings as 10,000 when in reality they were 10X that. Just to show that people are using what they can in this crisis, I posted a picture of the Fukushima workers with their state-of-the-art radiation protection shield….a blue tarp. So be careful to condemn these videos too quickly. You start to sound like the Feds……

    This whole thing stinks as far as I’m concerned. More and more I think there is no radiation, and that this is a complete hoax! Workers without dosimeters, exposed skin, pictures of workers in the planet wearing those thin 3M paint masks, no dead fish, all reports of radiation are from “official sources”, they never air-lifted diesel power generators when they were needed, no YouTube videos of average citizens posting their own radiation readings, workers who were “splashed” with radioactive water that contained levels far beyond lethal, same workers were still walking around 2 hours later showing no signs of radiation poisoning? The first signs of radiation poisoning is “dizziness and disorientation” – yet these guys were walking around just fine! And why were they being covered with those blue tarps?

    There are reports here in the USA of “heightened radiation” in milk and water – but ONLY form “official sources” of course. And what about the two guys who show-up in (California) public wearing WAY more protection than any of the Fukushima workers? Plus, the local authorities would NEVER send them out directly into a highly populated area unless they wanted them to be seen.

    Something stinks here – and it ain’t sushi!

    Those little white suits aren’t going to stop radiation from going through the people doing the testing, they’re protecting the people from absorbing any particles of radiation that are present. You think a little dinky suit of any material (Besides lead of course) is going to protect people form radiation exposure? Heck no. BUT it’s 10x worse to absorb the particles than it is to be exposed to the radiation waves.

    FYI, there are reports from France, UK, Ireland and as far away as India and Lebanon of radiation detection.

    Areva, the French nuclear experts in a private UNOFFICAL leaked item called Japan nukes “the greatest catastrophe in modern history.”
