This says so many things about the realities of life in Fukushima now. A citizen created organization that takes kids to safer parks that they scanned first, themselves, with geiger counters, trying to find the ones with the lowest radiation levels. Then they bus and carpool the kids to those parks so that they can play outside and touch things like sand and bugs and leaves. The kids are told all the time not to touch anything outside at home or during recess outside at school, so this way, they can have a little normal childhood time exploring their world.
Worth the 25 mins to watch and be touched forever.

This first link is just one of four short 7 minute segments, so even that much is very informative.

"The death machines must be stopped." – Mission
What will future generations say?
I am certain it won't be "Thank you".

hi gladys
documentingian and others below are in japan..living with radiation in varying levels.. the food is the big problem and will be for many decades or centuries..
check out documenting ians blog as he is making pumpkin soup with some farmers.. all is not lost in japan.. they just got to start monitoring properly, for 300 years.. like the europeans,
obviously i think that the more contaminated areas of the world should NOT have children living there.. thats too cruel..

“DON’T ABANDON THE CHILDREN OF FUKUSHIMA” (PART 5 OF 5) -documentingian
After Koutarou left for school, Kae, 5, and Shinjirou, 4, woke up and immediately starting playingcomputer games. Earlier in the week I had wondered why so many of the children I met seemed to be obsessively playing video games. And then it dawned on me: the children are not allowed to play outside.
there is a petition for the children on the link, also a taste of documentingians blog.. please go to documenting ians blog (linked) for a progress report on his movements and experiences.. he has covered the plight of the children of fukushima over the last year and a half.. using videos and photographs.. a concerned citizen with his head screwed on! imho
please sign the petition on the link.. it is important to get these psychopaths in court .. imo
